And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." 12 Things a Church Pastor Cannot Do

Praying for all Pastors today!!

churchleaders.com There are 12 things a church pastor cannot do--even though pastors are, in my judgment, amazing people. They faithfully serve Sunday after Sunday, often with no desire for recognition or fame. In faith, they can do a lot...except for these 12 things.

We all have something to be thankful for! Join Us at 11am for a Praise Party on the Last Sunday of the Month, Year and Decade. Let’s give God all the Glory that is due to him together!

WORTH KNOWING: Bells to toll Sunday for enslaved Africans brought to U.S. in 1619

On Sunday, Episcopal churches in metro Atlanta will commemorate the August 1619 arrival of those first Africans by tolling church bells in their memory at 3 p.m. The bell ringing is part of a national initiative to get Americans to recognize the historical importance of the arrival of the Africans. It’s also to honor the role that they, and those who came after them, played in building the nation.

We believe God for the total healing and speedy recovery of those injured. We lift all families and victims affected by this act of domestic terrorism in prayer during this difficult time. See You There,
Priscilla Mtz & Pastor Michelle C. Thomas

Hi everyone!

I am a Life Scout in Troop 163 and Crew 786 working on my Eagle Scout project. My plan is to construct a 400-foot walking trail through the sacred African American Burial Ground for the Enslaved at Belmont. I will also be laying down pavers near the graves to demarcate the area. My project will benefit the Loudoun Freedom Center.

Located at the southeast intersection of Belmont Ridge Road and Route 7 in Ashburn VA, the three-acre property was used by enslaved Africans of the Belmont plantation as a gathering place and as a burial ground. Constructing a walking trail through the cemetery will allow visitors to have access to an important part of American history and will allow people to pay their respects to the people buried there.

My goal is to uplift the cemetery as much as I can and to do my part in honoring those who sacrificed so much to build our country. Your support for this is greatly appreciated.

Thankfully, my project has been fully funded by the generous support of many individual community members, local organizations like the Naacp Loudoun, and in-kind support from local businesses including Shirley Contracting, Luck stone Quary, Loudoun Lumber Co Inc, and Browning Equipment.

So now it is time to start working. Please consider volunteering by signing up to help with construction of the trail at this link:

We will be using:

*16 (sixteen) tons of gravel
*100 8-ft long 4x4 wood borders
*400 metal stakes
*400-ft long x 4-ft wide groundcloth
*100 stone pavers

Thank you for your consideration.
