Yesterday, my kids became b'nai mitzvah. It was supposed to happen at Camp Harlam, but Covid prevented that. In lieu of gifts, they decided to fundraise to help camp at this challenging time. They raised more than we thought they would. The drive ends AUGUST 31. You probably don't know Eitan & Yael, but you know their love of Harlam. Please consider making a gift to honor camp (which is matched dollar for dollar by our Federation's One Happy Camper scholarship program). We're trying to get to 10,000! Check out their fundraising video and click the link below to donate. I represent Galilee Silks, which employs just 5 women in the North of Israel designing & creating stunning silk tallitot for women - as well as traditional wool and contemporary tallitot for men. I would be very grateful if you could allow me to publicize our products to your membership. Each womens' tallit can be made-to-measure, and comes with a matching kippah and tallit bag (which can be embroidered with the owner's name). We hand dye all the fabric in our silk tallitot, and each one is either hand painted and/or hand embroidered. To introduce our range to your membership, we are happy to offer great discounts when ordering from the website - email me: [email protected] for details https://www.facebook.com/silktallit/videos/614633372529223/ Right now we have a Really Special Offer for the hagim: Get 20% discount on any Tallit order from Galilee Silks 🇮🇱 Stunning silk tallitot, handmade in Israel - complete with a matching kippah & tallit bag 👉 Use Promo code 20NYEARM: Visit https://www.galileesilks.com
My kids were supposed to be having their b'nai mitzvah at Harlam in two weeks (2nd generation campers, where better?!?). Since we can't be there, they are raising money to help make sure camp will have the funds it needs to keep going in the future. Random post but it has been driving me crazy - Anyone have a list of colorwar themes from 1985-1991? I have a few gaps that I need filled and my yearbooks are long missing. Thanks much!
An amazing night! Great win Team Blue Ursula!!
You can donate right now ---If you donate for Bubbio (that's me - Rosanne Selfon), I can come in the show and help! Follow Lisa's and Judith's directions to donate. www.harlam.org/jewishgeography
You could open your e-store as a way of boosting your donations. I’d buy an item at twice the price if I knew the extra $$ was going to camp 🙂

The Fundamentals: Thoughts on Camp and America - URJ Camp Harlam | Jewish Summer Camp and Retreat Center

Former Leadership Team member Adam Zemel shares thoughts with his former campers about the power and responsibility they have to inform and decide what matters most in our country and our world right now, and to have faith in our future.
