Well, it is a rainy day out there! And we are back asking for your help. We have a 9 month old baby boy in our program and we do not have any winter baby clothes in 9 or 12 month sizes. We are hoping someone out there does and would be willing to donate them to him. If you have baby clothing to donate, please feel free to drop it at our day center. 167 S. 3rd street and we will make sure he gets it.

Harvest Home 2020 will take place on October 18th. For many of you, it will be online rather than in person but that shouldn’t deter you from participating. It’s a time for sharing our blessings and caring for our neighbors, especially this year when so many are experiencing financial hardships. If you are among the lucky ones that still have a job or still have your retirement income, please consider buying a few extra items when you go to the grocery store and donating them to the food pantry. Every contribution helps, no matter how small. There is a box outside the church if you stop by when no one is at the church. Monetary donations are always welcome too. You can put them in the offering plate or mail them to the church. In addition, we’ve applied for Thrivent Action Team funds and will be purchasing fresh apples, squash, potatoes and carrots. If you have fresh produce to donate, such as from your garden, please bring it on October 18th. We will use all the food to decorate our sanctuary and then it will be distributed on Wednesday, October 21st, Food Pantry day. We also want to recognize and thank those of you that have donated to the food pantry all through the year. We couldn’t keep the food pantry going without you!! Thank you!

Service may look a little different this morning, but we are back to inside services! Although we are open, we do still encourage some to continue worshipping from home. Masks are required and we do have limited seating due to social distancing. As always you can tune into service right here, live, on our page!

A huge thank you to all who have donated already! We appreciate each and every one of you!

We are collecting school supplies for the teachers and students of our community! There are two ways you can help. Any donation is greatly appreciated! The items we are looking for are as follows;

Erasable Pens
Pencils, Pink Erasers
Pencil boxes/bags
Tissues
