Church Brings Community Together for Easter Celebration

Thank you to the Rambler News for covering our Easter event!

“Easter is one of our holiest days of the year; it’s the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” senior pastor Jared Cornutt said. “We don’t exist without Easter. If Jesus did not die or stayed dead, there would be no reason to be doing this today. We believe that Jesus rose from the dead that he defeated sin and those who stay with him will have eternal life.

03-14-21 Sunday Morning Worship

Because of the power outage yesterday morning, some of the equipment to stream was not functioning correctly. The electricity came back on 10 min. before the service started, so thankfully our fantastic tech. crew still managed to record most of the service!

Here is PPBC's 03-14-21 Worship Service.

03/14/2021

[03/14/21]   Church Family, a tree fell on a power line this morning knocking out power at the church. The estimated time power will be restored is noon.

Therefore, there is no Sunday School this morning. We will have a worship service in the Sanctuary at 10:45. We will use natural light and glorify God despite the situation.

Please pass this along this morning.

Photos from Plymouth Park Baptist Church's post 03/08/2021

We had a pipe burst in the CRC during the winter storm. Because of damage the CRC will need new carpet, dry wall, and ceiling. Thankfully PPBC is full of men willing to demo and help the church get ready for the renovations!

[03/07/21]   Good Morning Church Family!

Our stream crashed during the service a few minutes ago, but we are still recording, so we will upload the full service later today.

We apologize for the inconvenience!

-Pastor Danny

***Please see the below note from Pastor Jared regarding worship tomorrow***

Church Family,

Well, what an eventful week. I know many of you dealt without power, water, and other basic needs. My prayer has been that your needs would be met, and I was so encouraged to see many of you helping meet others' needs. If you have any unmet needs, please let me know immediately. We want to serve you however we can.

We will be back on our regular schedule this week, Sunday School at 9:30 AM and Worship at 10:45 AM. We do have a couple of recommendations when coming on campus this week to prioritize your safety. Please take note of these and pass them along to other members and your classes.

First, please park in the large parking lot off Story Rd by the Sanctuary and Admin building. Almost all of the snow and ice has melted in this parking lot, and the sidewalks and porch are clear as well. This space will be the best parking lot to use this week. You may enter through the Sanctuary or Admin building to access other parts of the church.

Second, please avoid the parking lot behind the CRC and the CRC altogether. The parking lot behind the CRC has a fair bit of ice because it rests a lot of the day in the shade. We also had a burst pipe in the CRC due to the freezing temperatures. Water has been shut off in that building, and Pastor Micah is working with our insurance on our claim. The Sunday School classes in that building have been relocated, and you will be notified by your class where you will be meeting.

Third, please be careful driving between the CRC and Education building and down the alley. These areas still have a good deal of ice and will spend most of the day in the shade. There will probably still be ice tomorrow in this area. Be careful if you drive by these areas, and please avoiding walking near these areas. Again, please utilize the large parking lot and then use the building to navigate to your classes this week.

As always, please use your discretion tomorrow. I hope to see you for worship, but please utilize the Facebook stream if that is the safest thing for you to do this week. Please wear a mask and please continue to social distance. I know it's been a challenging year, and it seems like the hits keep on coming. That is why I long for Sunday. To be with God's people and worshipping God together.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

SDG,
Pastor Jared
