First Irving!! I have it on good authority that Light the Night candy is half price at Kroger.
Does anyone pass the 183/Story area who wouldn't mind picking up an extra little rider? Elliot would like to go to Sunday School.
First Irving - www.perspectives.org is the most fruitful discipleship course I have ever been through! I'm so excited that your church is hosting the course this fall. Thank you! Class leadership is looking for a prayer coordinator for the semester. If falling on your knees to bring more worship to God from every tongue, tribe & nation brings you great joy - please consider joining the class leadership team!
Is there nursery for under 3's tomorrow?

Sunday Service Registration 02/20/2021

Sunday Service Registration

We have had an interesting week of weather for sure. I hope you are all doing well and are finally warm and dry. While our church has fared pretty well, all things considered, we are having a small issue with our boiler that heats the worship center. As a result, we cannot leave it running overnight. In order to have adequate heat for worship, we need to change our meeting plan tomorrow. So, here is our updated plan for our gatherings tomorrow, Sunday, February 21st.

9am: All ABF/small groups meet, including on-campus groups (preschool is available). The heating units for the rest of the buildings are fine. NO ENGLISH WORSHIP OPTION

11am: One English Service in the worship center. We will offer in-person and online options for this service. Preschool is also available by registration.

3pm: One Spanish Service in the worship center (in-person and online)

5pm: Parent Commitment Service in the worship center

Please help us get the word out that we will not be offering our 9am English service tomorrow. And remember that you will need to register using the link below for any of these gatherings tomorrow if you are planning to come in person.

We tend to think of Martin Luther as the man who started the Protestant Reformation, but did you know that he was also a musician and hymn writer? Robert Morgan in Then Sings My Soul writes, “Luther’s most famous hymn is… “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God,” based on Psalm 46, it reflects Luther’s awareness of our intense struggle with Satan. In difficulty and danger, Luther would often resort to this song…” Take a minute to read Psalm 46 and reflect on God’s faithfulness this weekend.
