Good Morning and Peace to all!
About 18 of us — from teens to nonagenarians — turned out this morning for our Junior Warden’s Spring Clean-Up Day at Redeemer. Despite the torrential rains and wind, we focused on indoor cleaning and window-washing of the Sanctuary and Parish Hall, installing shelves, making minor repairs, and organizing the kitchen jungle. Thank you to the industrious and generous community of Redeemer Episcopalians!
Good evening! My name is Cassius and I am reaching out to possibly schedule a worship night with my band GraceCallin’ and Marco Neaves this summer on a Saturday or Sunday night. We have done youth services and churches all in between. We want to share hope through our music and messages that point to a bigger hope. Also, please check out GraceCallin’ on social media. Attached below is a sample of our single Send Me. I look forward to hearing from you soon and possibly scheduling a date for us to bless your church!
Easter Morning 2018
“Alleluia, Christ is Risen —
The Lord is risen indeed. Alleluia!!”
Sadly, my good friend Dick Comstock lost his battle with pneumonia complications very early this morning. Dick heads for his heavenly rest after nearly 80 years of taking care of everyone else . . . while always keeping joy in the equation. Episcopal Church of the Redeemer has lost a great leader, follower, teacher, lector, Vestry member, historian, and all-‘round pal, who kept so many of us on our toes for 5 decades. He and Mary Beth personify fun, faith, love, friendship, and service in so many ways. Rest In Peace, dear Richard. May God’s Grace light your eternity. We will strive to follow in your footsteps.... 👣
So exciting, starting another year with the Redeemer family.

We are a vibrant community of Christians located just north of I-183 in the city of Irving, Texas, near the University of Dallas campus.

We're a small part of something HUGE. And that small part makes a HUGE difference in the lives of some families.

During the day, children attend school or day care, and adults go to their current job, or use the resources at the Day Center to help them find a job and affordable housing. Laundry, baths, and some meals are also done at the Day Center.

Children in the Family Promise program attend school and/or day care, just as they would if they lived in their own home.

Family Promise depends on local churches to host families overnight in their buildings and to provide meals for a one-week "rotation". Each church hosts about four times a year.
