I have a dear friend that I desperately needs unspoken prayers. I wish I could give more details but it is a sensitive matter. Thank you so much & God Bless
Hey Riverland Hills family! I have a prayer request: I am getting married next Saturday the 23rd on-line (due to COVID-19, of course). My fiancé, Stephanie and I wanted a service where the Gospel is shared. If the service had been traditional one at her church (in Conyers, GA), we figure that 85-90% of the people there would already be Christian. But now, with it being on-line and a much wider audience, we’re thinking more might see the joy we’ll have in our wedding AND hear the Gospel preached. SO, we’re asking that you pray for the hearts of our extended family, friends, and even strangers that as they enjoy our nice wedding (with my beautiful bride) they will be open to hear the Gospel. BTW: it will be on our YouTube channel, S&J Lawson next Saturday the 23rd at 1 PM EDT.
Could you possibly post a song set lists from these weeks we are out? The songs are such wonderful and powerful reminders of His love for us. We would love to be able to find them on Amazon ;)
Great Service, thank you Pastor Ryan and all our wonderful staff.
The Columbia First Baptist Church recently announced they will be closed Sunday and only do a live stream video for the sermon. Will Riverland Hills do the same?
I just saw where the First Baptist Church of Columbia will not be open Sunday. They will only be doing a live stream sermon. Will Riverland Hills be doing the same?
This book is different in the sense it goes through each chapter in Revelation starting from chapter one of Revelation to Chapter 22 and the second difference is it has Gentiles and Jews here during the great Tribulation according to Scripture. Below is a preview of the book The apostle Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 5: 8 (KJV): "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” This passage explains that when we are absent from the body, in case of death we are then taken to the presence of the Lord and, according to the book of Luke, angels will carry us to the presence of the Lord. Luke 16:22 (KJV): “And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died and was buried.” We see the angels carrying Lazarus into the bosom of Abraham who was in Paradise, and we know that when Jesus died he took Paradise to heaven. Luke 23: 42-43 (KJV): “And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou come into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise. Then how do the dead in Christ rise first if they are already in the presence of the Lord? The rapture is the reunion of the spirit with our bodies, but many people’s body who already died are in graves here on earth. So, in the rapture, those who are still alive will see dead bodies raising from the grave. 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” When Jesus will come, those who are already dead will enter into new bodies after the Holy Spirit raises them up.” 1 Corinthians 15: 52 (KJV): “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” This scenario will appear like the modern version of a TV show "The zombie apocalypse," but it will convert to Christ many unbelievers as they will witness something supernatural. Revelation 11:11 “And after three days and a half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.” The Holy Spirit will raise the bodies from the grave as He did in Romans 8:11 (KJV): “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” So fear will fall on anyone seeing the dead bodies raising from the graves joining with the spirits who descended from Jesus as He returns, but those frighten people will give glory to God and become saved. Revelation 11:13 (KJV): “And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted and gave glory to the God of heaven.” The frighten ones will reign in the thousand-year reign. Zechariah 14:2-4 and Revelation 16:14-16 is the battle of Armageddon and after the battle. Zechariah 14:16 (KJV): “And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.” We know that eventually not all of them will stay true to the Lord and will follow Satan, as we show scriptures in our book of the events. Those who will turn their back on God will be tormented with Satan in the Lake of Fire with the rest of the dead. The description of the end time scenario of our book is different from the traditional movies and popular interpretations of the rapture. Commonly, movies that took inspiration from popular doctrines portrayed the rapture by omitting the divine sequence of the prophecy - when scriptures are overlooked - and display a scenario of missing people all of sudden, leaving desolate images after that. So, let the Word of God speaks as it proceeded out of His mouth and as He revealed it to us in a divine and perfect order. Comparing scriptures with scriptures, as taught in 1 Corinthians 2:13, we can be assured that it is God's spirit guiding us in the interpretation of the prophecy to stay firm within the Word that God provided for us. Who are the people who manage this page?
Emphasis on Missions and the church emphasizes looking to see where God is working and joins in. They encourage living faith, every day and everywhere. I love this church. Our pastor preaches from Scripture in such a way everyone understands. Being new to South Carolina, I have found the members to be very friendly.
Can anyone take me and my daughters to the easter event? We live in west Columbia
A suggestion for making more room, having services at 4 and 6 pm on Saturdays. I just moved to this area and my new job starts noon on Sunday March 3rd, so a Saturday would be great. I can't attend the meeting since I work until Wed. at 6pm. Thanks Terry Lewis
Wish you had live stream! :)

Come visit us this Sunday and experience a fellowship of faith as we worship God together. We exist to reach the world for Christ by equipping disciples to live out their faith every day and everywhere.

On Saturday, July 18, you can drop off your donations from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM in trucks parked outside of the A Entrance at Riverland Hills. You will also be able to bring your donations on Sunday, July 19, during the worship service hours (8:45 AM until 12:30 PM) to the same location.

Please bring nonperishable food (with the exception of corn, green beans and peanut butter). You can also donate diapers (size 4-6), baby wipes, Kleenex, paper towels, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes and sprays, quart and gallon size zip lock freezer bags, toothpaste, shampoo, and dish soap (no toilet paper, please).

Thank you for your continued flexibility through our “Together Again” reopening plan! For the past two weeks of indoor worship we required RSVP’s to help keep each service properly social distanced. Attendance in our services has evened out so well that we do not need registrations at this time. You are welcome to attend without a reservation. The services with the lowest crowds and most space to spread out are the 10:30 Traditional Service and the 8:45 Modern service. These are great times to visit as you make your way back to in-person worship.

Groundbreaking Recap

It was a historic moment on Sunday during our outdoor worship services as we broke ground on our new modern worship facility and indoor gathering space. When we all look at the "Ebenezer" rocks we each took home, may we be reminded that apart from Christ none of this is possible and as we continue to depend on Him, He will be faithful!

One more Sunday of outdoor services to go! Hope to see you all there this Sunday.

[06/19/20]   Worship with us online at 10:15 Sunday! The order of service and Bible Study resources for the whole family are available at riverlandhills.org/live

Next week, as we resume indoor gatherings, online services will continue to be available at these NEW times: 9AM (Traditional service) and 11:30AM (Modern service). More info at riverlandhills.org/togetheragain

Friday Devotional with Mark Powers

We are so excited to be able to share more with our church family about our awesome and unique VBS experience this year. We will be running a one day water adventure during the last week in July. Each family will be able to sign up for one specific day. Don’t worry, each day will be the same! Registration will open in early July and you will have to register your children ahead of time. We will not be able to accept registrations at the door, so go ahead and mark your calendars for July 27th-30th. Be on the lookout for more coming soon!

Church, please join us tomorrow for a time of prayer. This is a great opportunity to join in on what God is doing through Beyond Us. We will pray “on site, with insight” as we walk the outline of the new building and pray for different areas of our church. Drop in anytime from 8am-8pm!
