Hello Windwood, We have another Gulf Coast Regional Blood Drive coming up this Sunday, November 1st from 8am - 1pm. We have been doing a great job of filling up every available appointment for several blood drives in a row now. Please help us continue that trend this Sunday. We have about 10 slots available to fill and if you don't want to make an appointment, you can still come and donate. Appointments are preferred, but not required. Thank you! Here is the link to sign up -
Kids Worship Summer Games starts now!
Where is the link for today's service? (3/29)
This was posted on a page that Jane and I follow for Operation Christmas Child. I thought I would share it here. Please remember to pray over each shoebox that you pack. This was for Madagascar so each location will have different needs. Pack what you feel led to pack. I have included a list of the items that can be packed as well as the prohibited items. National Collection Week begins November 18, 2019-November 25, 2019. Cathy writes, "I had an interesting conversation today with a church member who is home from being on mission in Madagascar. Shoeboxes were delivered while she was there - she wasn't at the distribution, but was very helpful. I thought I'd share what I can remember." What did these children like best? The toys - they don't have any. The toys that are perfect and known by all kids - jacks, balls, cars, playing cards. They LOVE balloons. They didn't know what to do with legos, or puzzles. Simple toys are best, even for the older kids. They didn't know what a washcloth was. They don't use them, or towels either. She had to explain how to use them. Stuffed animals don't last long - they get filthy. Don't send white stuffed animals. Many boxes contained Bibles, but the kids couldn't read them (they don't know much English). They would bring them to Liz and ask her to read to them. But they were King James Version. If you send Bibles, send an easy to read version. (I send NiRV) Water bottles are gold! Bandaids - awesome. Tape measure - YES Any kind of hair accessories, but especially little pony tail holders for braids. Sewing kits. Chalk. Bright colored thread (thread is hard to find there). Tools Flashlights Eating utensils, bowls, cups, anything they can put food in. Simple books or picture books so they can practice English (they want to learn) And of course pencils with sharpeners, pens, markers, crayons, notebooks, etc, for school.
**Please consider signing up for a meal for Jacob's family while he is recovering from his bone marrow transplant.** This Friday 3/30/2018, Jacob will receive his younger brother's bone marrow. Please, please, please pray for this amazing young man as he starts this next step in his journey to beat this horrible disease. Jacob will be hospitalized on the Bone Marrow Transplant floor at Texas Children's hospital for a minimum of 30 days and then will live in an apartment that is very close to the hospital for 4-5 months. The family is so appreciative of your prayers and support during this battle. #JacobStrong #33forever #TeamJacob
What an honor for our Trail Life Troop 2237 to be able to go out an place wreath on our fallen soldiers.

Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.

2. Return it by mail: Windwood Church -

Cypress Assistance Ministries (CAM) continues to provide critical help to individuals and families who are struggling due to the coronavirus, and we are so thankful we are able to effectively make a difference and alleviate some of their fears.

If you or someone you know has experienced the worry of not knowing where your food is going to come from or wondered how you can keep a roof over your kids' heads, then you know how terrible these times are for so many people. We're touching the lives of people in ways they will never forget and we are very blessed to be able to do so!
