[06/04/21]   Father, we pray for humility today. In a month that is dedicated to celebrating Pride, may we examine ourselves and root out all self-righteousness and personal aggrandizement. May we consider others above ourselves (Phil 2:3) and develop an attitude of service. May we be humble servants like Jesus, our Saviour, Lord and King, who set the example by washing the disciples' feet, feeding the multitudes, healing on the Sabbath, and more. Keep us from looking down on others, sneering or seeing them as inferior. Keep us from hypocrisy.

We lift our unsaved loved ones and prodigals to You. Bring them out of the darkness, out of the wilderness. Shepherd them like the compassionate, loving, merciful, gracious God that You are. Open their spiritual eyes and ears that they might see and hear. Give them spiritual understanding. Free them from the enemy and the lies they believe about You. Bless them with true Life and true freedom. Even today may they know there is a God in heaven who cares about them and is concerned for them. Send kingdom workers into the harvest fields and bring in a bountiful crop of souls who will glorify You and love the Lord with all their hearts. Do what only You can do.

In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

[06/03/21]   Jesus speaking directly to Paul on the road to Damascas.

Acts 26: 17-18

26:17 I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them
26:18 to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.

5 things happen after surendering to Jesus.

opens your eyes.
Turn from darkness to light.
From the power of Satan to God.
Forgiveness of sins.
A place in God's kingdom.
