[01/08/16]   13 For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. 14 For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect, 15 because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression.

Have a great day after reading the truth.

Have a blessed Father's Day and remember you are the spiritual leader of your family. Honor God the Father and love Jesus Christ and pattern your life as Jesus Christ.

John 13:10-15New King James Version (NKJV)

10 Jesus said to him, “He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you.” 11 For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, “You are not all clean.”

12 So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you? 13 You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. 15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.

[03/04/15]   Due to the incoming weather system we will not have any activities at Westridge Fellowship tonight. Stay warm and be safe. Love you all. ....JD

[02/25/15]   It has been cold and wet out th is week and we all know it is by the will of the Father that it is now. Praise God for what you do have and not what you think you need.

[11/18/14]   Sunday November 23rd we will be having our Thanksgiving dinner after the 10:45 AM Service. Anyone hungry or just coming through is welcome to come to our service and dinner. We asking that all that can please bring a side dish for a BBQ lunch. We will feed all those who come and will be thankful for them. By the way, those that are not perfect are welcome. That would be you.

[11/13/14]   During this season of Thanksgiving, I wanted to take just a moment to reflect on the purpose of this wonderful time, as well as provide encouragement to set an example of thankfulness to our families and friends.

It is quite clear that to have a “thankful spirit” does not exactly come naturally just because we are born into the human race. If you have children, you have been confronted with the challenge of instilling within them the words “thank you”. How often have we said after our child received a gift; “now what do you say”? The first few times this happens you may be confronted with a look of confusion as to what they should say, however, after teaching them a few times, they soon catch on…hopefully!

Even as Christians, we must be reminded at times to be thankful to God who has blessed us beyond measure. The Word of God is filled with exhortations to thank Him, and one of my favorites is found in Psalms 100:4-5 (KJV) 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

One of the most enjoyable ways to be thankful to God, is to praise Him together in His courts! While we know God resides within His people, and not necessarily in a building, there is still something very powerful and encouraging about gathering together as God’s people with one voice to praise and thank Him!

With this in mind, we want to be sure to invite you to join us on November 24th as we take part in a community (about 10 different churches come together to worship our God) Thanksgiving Service at First Bible Believers Assembly on High School Drive @ 7:00 PM as we come to church with the desire and purpose to share how appreciative we are to the Lord for His bountiful blessings!

Please take some time to invite your family, friends and neighbors to this service as well. I’m know it will be a time of great encouragement and strength as we worship God together.

Blessings in Christ!

[10/25/14]   Give to someone this day an act if kindness just because it is the right thing to do. Let us all show the act s of Jesus Christ and let at least one person know that you love them like Jesus loves you. Pass it on because IT IS the RIGHT Thing to do. I encourage all t let our Lord shine through you today. May God bless you all and I love you all.

[10/25/14]   Looking forward to sharing another Lord's Day tomorrow. I would like to invite all of you to come and sing praises to Jesus Christ with the Madrid family and soak up some of God's word with us. 10:45 in the AM at 1700 N. State Highway 161. North bound service road between Egyptian and Carrier.

[10/18/14]   Hebrews 13:5

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
