[06/16/20]   From Keila McFadden, a minister and minister’s wife, in Florida:
I want to share what my Black Amazing Husband shared few days ago... I pray everyone’s heart get awaken by the power of the Holy Sprit, and we all do What we’re supposed to do...
From my husband: Christopher McFadden:

Tonight as I put my daughter to sleep I told her “Bella you are Smart” she said, “Yes.” I said, “You are kind” she said, “Yes.” I said, “You are important” she said , “I am important.” As a father of two girls I believe my job is to empower them so they know who they are no matter what and I’ve vowed to make this world better for them and I can’t do that remaining silent so here is what I have to offer. I understand that some will not hear my heart and take my words out of context but I’m praying the Holy Spirit will reveal my heart.

I’ve been trying to figure out what to say about the state of our world. My struggles are vast because I am a Christian Pastor, a father, a veteran and, I’m black. I have had so many different emotions and, honestly I am still trying to sort through my emotions but I feel that I need my voice to be heard so that those around me can know where I stand.

As a black man I am exhausted from having to explain why my Black life matter. Hear me out. I am not saying that All lives don’t matter. I am fully aware that White lives , Latina lives , Asian lives, Middle Eastern lives, etc that those lives matter as well. I’m just simply saying that Black lives matter too. Not more and not less. In all actuality it is because All lives matter that Black lives matter. The reason that this phrase has been coined is because historical black lives haven’t matter. At least not to all people. Although, our world is better in regards to the equality of all people there is still progress to be made. Also, as a black man although I understand the frustration of my community I feel them daily as well I do not agree with violence and destruction. Two wrongs don’t make a right. I am also aware that there are other races out contributing to the havoc so I know the blaming anyone in particular. I’m just saying there’s a better way. Now I understand that it doesn’t seem that people have listened up to this point and that might be true but we’ve got to find other ways to be seen and heard. We have got to keep in mind that just like all black people aren’t bad all white people aren’t bad either. We can not blame the sins of a few on an entire race. That is not right and it isn’t fair. There is a better way and we will find it. Now understand that I am proud to be black. I would not change it even to this day with all of the knowledge that I have. I love where I come from and if some people want to mobilize in my area here in Florida you better believe I’ll be right their marching and protesting for change but I ain’t bout destruction and I don’t agree with terrorizing people but, understand me our voices will be heard without all of that.

As a father I am sad that this is the world that my children are growing up in. I am conflicted. Should I explain to them now how broken this world is? Or should I let them find out for themselves? If I don’t tell them how the world actually works in time will I regret it? As I sat with Bella tonight I vowed to be the change in the world that she needs to see. I promised her that I would do whatever I can so that she can live in a world that is better than the one I have experienced up to this point. As a father my heart is torn in shreds for the parents and family of George Floyd, Ahmad Aubrey and, so many countless others. I pray for them daily. I cant fathom having to watch the death of my child played out in front of me over and, over and, over again. I’ve told my wife that God forbid that anything ever happens to me I don’t want that to be my legacy. Make sure people share picture of me with my family because that my most prized possession.

As a veteran I hate to see the country I love and have served with the ultimate sacrifice in so much pain. I’m believing that one day we will all rally together. I am just afraid that it will have to get worst before it gets better.

Now, as a pastor I have a mixed feelings. At times I am deeply grieved.
So much so that I’m moved to tears and I am not overly emotional. At times I am frustrated that God hasn’t responded to my request to healed our land. But in all my mixture of emotions the one that rises to the top is hopeful. Our world is broken we know that. It’s dark we’ve read it in the Word and were seeing it be played out but we are not a hopeless people. Again, WE ARE NOT HOPELESS!!! Our God is not dead. He is alive. He isn’t sleeping and He’s not on vacation. Our God is waiting on us His children to step up and do what He has called and empowered us to do. To be who He’s called us to be. To become His hands and His feet. Jesus hasn’t come back yet so there is work to be done. We have got to rise up and speak light in dark places. We can’t just stand for partial truths either. We’ve got to stand for the whole truth and we must unify. The world is looking for a solution and His name is JESUS. Scripture tell us that Jesus didnt sit within the four wall of a church to spread His message, He didn’t stay in the house and hide from people and, He didn’t try an manipulate behind His social media accounts and behind memes because none of that is EFFECTIVE!!!! God the Son LIVED among men and He LOVED on them. He loved on those who some would say were unloveable. He hung with those who some people would call thugs and thieves. He broke bread with the lowly and he sought to understand all. Jesus gave us an example to live by and somehow we have gotten so American I mean religious that we’ve forgotten our purpose. We have been saved and filled to show forth His glory NOT to be American. We have got to start being the church and not just going to church. We’re got to take that same energy of being angry about destruction and start building people up. We have allowed for people to be oppressed and bound and they are tired. We have allowed people to be marginalized and they are sick of it. We have been silent against ALL injustice both domestic and abroad and it’s time to break the silence. We’ve allowed all these things and for what? For the sake of political correctness. In order to not offend? Well that’s a bunch of dog poop if you ask me. The gospel is offensive and His word is aggressive. We’ve got to start living the life that Jesus lived or step aside. It’s time out for patty cake Christianity. Time out for weekend Christians. There are those of us that have wanted to stand and speak truth but we’ve been silent because we’ve been told that’s not how we do things. Guess what.... time out for that too. I’m going to the low places whether that be the bars, the trap houses, or the front lines of marches and Im bring Jesus and His glory with me. I’m going to continue to eat with those who don’t think like me, look like me and, or smell like me. I’m going to be like Jesus and not just with my words but with my actions to and for ALL people. If you don’t like it well then guess what? The religious folk back in the day ain’t to much like Jesus so I’ll be in good company.

Finally, to my white brothers and sisters I am not mad or upset at any of you and you don’t have to apologize to me for the sins of your ancestors. Or the sins of others. You don’t have to feel shame about who you are either. Just as I’m proud to be black you can be proud to be white. Just as Black lives matter so does White lives. Hear my heart I love you all and I thank you for introducing me to Hillsong and mountain biking! 😂😂😂 No seriously some of my best friends are white and I don’t want you to ever think that me standing up for the right of black people means that I’m stepping on your rights. I want to say a VERY special thank you to the numerous white people who have called and texted me personally and have told me my value to them and how much I matter in the world. You have no idea of the weight of your words and concern. I want to extend another rousing gratitude for those of you that have had the boldness to speak out publicly. I know what that might mean for y’all and your sacrifice will not go unnoticed. I’ve been asked multiple times by your community what you can do to help and this is what I have to offer:

1. Speak up about ALL injustice because our combined voices can drive out darkness. And let me restate ALL injustice because it won’t help for one group of people to become free if it’s at the cost of another.
2. Have hard conversation with those around you and especially in your home.
3. Reach out to your brothers and sisters in the black community and let them know you love them and care for them. You have no idea what your words mean to us. Remember that your silence also speaks volumes and does not go unnoticed.
4. Finally, ask the black people in your life how they are dealing with the state of our world and then tell them how you see it. A issue in today’s world is that we are slow to understand others. Be willing to hear a perspective that you’ve never heard before and then share yours.

If you’ve held on this long you’re a trooper! 😂 I realize that this post solves nothing. I am not a world leaders and so it might not go beyond my friends list and that’s okay. I just wanted the people in my world to know where I stand. As I close this post I am still frustrated, angry, and hopeful. There has to be change in our world but I’m confident that the true believers will rise up and change will be had. I love all people and just know that I haven’t lost hope in humanity and I’m still saved, sanctified and, filled with the Holy Ghost!

Asking For a Friend | What about the problems in our nation?

You cannot legislate love. The church has to be the one to step up. When it comes to racism, the church has to be the one that steps up. It takes courage. We're going to speak up. We're going to speak out. We're not going to be silent when the nation is in such turmoil, waiting for the church. We cannot expect politicians to be the God-conscience for our nation. It has to be the church. — Bishop Aaron Blake

[06/03/20]   Thousands of yeas ago, the Old Testament prophet Micah asked the rhetorical question, “What shall I bring to the LORD, the God of heaven, when I come to worship him? “
He asks should he bring sacrificial offerings of animals, oil, or even his firstborn child. And then the prophet thunders out the reply:
“He hath shown thee, O man, what is good;
and what doth the Lord require of you
but to DO JUSTLY,
and to LOVE MERCY,
and to WALK HUMBLY with thy God.” Micah‬ ‭6:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬
This is an ever present challenge. May God allow His Spirit to strengthen me first, and then His Church, to do what the LORD requires.

[05/10/20]   Mother’s Day at the outdoor church!

We hope to see everyone in 90 minutes, either in person in your cars, or right here on Facebook Live!
10:30 am.

[05/09/20]   Christians, before you criticize the government putting the church into non-essential business, ask yourself first did you do the same as a Christian? Did you treat the church as non-essential in your life? Did you skip services? Did you come 10 minutes late or perhaps 30 minutes late? Did you put church after your dream job, your big client meeting, your family road trip? Did you treat the worship service nothing more than a music concert or entertainment? (Yi Wang)

Hopefully, many are recognizing their need of fellowship, guidance and worship during this time of physical separation. Ease back into attendance by being in our Drive-In services for the next two weeks...Sunday 10:30 am. And then commit to making church attendance an essential in your life for here forward.
