Fourth Sunday of Advent 22 December 2019 🙏❤️✝️ Mrs. Edith Fulton presented advent reading and Mr. Mike Fulton lit our candles 🕯 of PEACE and CHRIST. ** Today, we light 💡 the candle of peace. Jesus came to the world 🌎 to give us peace in our hearts. A peace we can share with everyone around us. Peace is something we actually work for in our relationships with other people. When we look at the light these candles give, let’s think about the people in our own lives. We need someone to be happy or sad with or even someone. We can share our peace as we wait forJesus. Christ’s advent brings peace between God and mankind. ** Today, we also light the candle of Christ. The word advent means arrival or appearance - something coming that wasn’t here before. The coming of Jesus was something new and powerful. The story that begins in a stable continues on the cross to the grave and to Christ arriving in our hearts as we celebrate His victory within us. Today, we light the candle of Christ. Let us remember Christ’s advent brings peace between God and mankind.

I wanted to share all the short clips of Camp Rockfish but I won’t be able to get them on one post so here goes. This young man was so energetic, you could really tell that he loves doing this he was our tour conductor for the hay ride and while I didn’t record it all you’ll see the love and passion he brings. I almost forgot he even did little red wagon it almost felt like I was on a short run down Ardennes.

Third Sunday of Advent 15 December 2019 🕯🙏❤️✝️ Chaplain Rittermeyer invited Bro Kerr to present advent reading and Bro Stallworth to light our candle of JOY. In the middle of all the holiday craziness, when we’re trying to clean house before company comes, or worrying about how we’re going to pay for everything we maybe shouldn’t have bought, sometimes we lose our Joy. When we look at these candles, and the light they give, picture the pure Joy. He receives us into His kingdom and wipes every tear from our eyes. That’s the gift God wants to give us. Love, and hope, and Joy, as we wait for Jesus to return. Christ’s advent brings the unimaginable JOY of salvation. Today we light the candle of Joy.

Second Sunday of Advent 8 December 2019 🕯🙏❤️✝️ Chaplain Alterman invited the Staggers Family to light our candle of FAITH. Doing the right thing is hard, and we often fail at it, and sin. How do we know our sins are forgiven? That's why God sent Jesus into the world, alive, breathing human like us. Someone who could touch us and that we could touch. All our FAITH starts from Him, in that humble beginning. When we look at these candles, and the light they give, remember that we didn't deserve grace from God, but He gives it to us anyway, just because of FAITH. Christ's advent brings the FAITH that makes us righteous.

Special thanks to Mrs. Wendy Frazier for starting our Monday morning off with this uplifting post about yesterday’s Nursing Home Ministry - Christmas Program. 🤗🎶❤️✝️ December 1, 2019 / 2:30 pm Whispering Pines Nursing Home Worship Service Sermon: Brother Robert Edmondson Children’s Church Leader: Chaplain Chang Kim Musician: Mrs. Hyun Becky Kim Today’s service promised to be short and full of singing, but the Lord worked in mysterious ways and led Bro Edmondson to deliver a message on “Staying Prayed Up.” It is important to stay prayed up, because no man knows the day or the hour that his/her earthly journey will come to an end. - AAMC Children’s Church came out and sang a beautiful Christmas hymn medley led by Chaplain Kim. The whole experience was an all around blessing as children and nursing home residents shared the love of Jesus in their interactions. - We are most grateful to everyone who participated in renewing spirits of ALL present today.
