Jerel A. Montgomery Ministries

He is a man that want to help build the Kingdom of God. Elder Jerel A. Montgomery was born June 27, 1991 to Angie Pone and James Montgomery Jr.

at Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC. He grew up in Elizabethtown and received his high school diploma from East Bladen High School and then went on to join the United States Army. He is now a veteran and works at the Durham VA Medical Center helping other veterans get the best care that they can. He is proudly married and in love with his beautiful wife Angie Montgomery. He is the proud father of four lovely kids named Jahleel Thompson, Jayla Montgomery, Aaliyah Montgomery, and (Jerel) Aiden Montgomery. Elder Montgomery is a family man and he enjoys every chance that he can simply be a great husband and father. Growing up, he attended Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church in Bladenboro, NC. It was at this church that he was baptized, joined the usher board ministry, sang in the choir, and played the drums. He believed, even back then as a child, in the importance of being an active member in his local church. This belief was not based on personal glory, but solely on helping to build the Kingdom of God so that God could get the glory out of his life as a young boy. Elder Montgomery finally accepted his call into ministry while he was stationed in Germany. In April of 2010, he preached his initial sermon at Hour of Prayer Church of God in Christ. Upon his return to the states in November of 2012, he joined New Dimension International Christian Center, which is now named The Powerhouse Church. In this church, he served under the leadership of Pastor Kevin Davis. He taught Sunday school and he was the youth minister. Years later, he has now relocated to the city of Burlington, NC and attends Kingdom of Our Lord Ministries Inc. under the great and profound leadership of Apostle Norman A. Orrell. He was ordained an Elder in the Lord’s church on December 31, 2017 under his leader and spiritual father, Apostle Orrell. Elder Montgomery has learned to be true to himself and allow God to truly order his steps. He has been through many trials and tests but he has always trusted in God. He is constantly reminded of Ephesians 3:20 “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” because throughout his life, God has shown him to be an “able God.” His testimony today is truly that God has kept him. Elder Montgomery strives to empower the generation of today and tomorrow. His prayer is that through his life, he can show them that they can be saved and still live a holy lifestyle. It is Elder Jerel Montgomery’s complete desire that God gets the glory out of everything that consists of him. In closing, Elder Montgomery wants the world to know that God is real and he is yet alive. Be great and be blessed!

Mission: His mission is to help build the Kingdom of God and to get young people to come know Christ.

Do not pass me by.

Hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.

[09/09/20]   When peace like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll
Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say
It is well, it is well, with my soul

[06/08/20]   Until you hear the word and change your situation, I can’t move on your behave. I can’t pour new wine into old wineskins. Stop going back to familiarity. Step out on faith so that I can show you my hand saith the Lord. You must learn that you can't keep doing the same thing trying to get new results. You must do things differently to get the results that you want. God said if you do something different, I will show you my hand. Let the hand of God God move for you.
