We thank you all for your continued support and love during the First Family's time of bereavement. We know that there were many family and friends from Baltimore, MD that couldn't attend the Memorial Service in Fayetteville, NC.

Dr. Brenda Talley was from Baltimore, MD and a great impact in her church home, Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was loved by many and very active in various auxiliaries. She will never be forgotten.

It is with a sad heart that we express our deepest condolences to our Pastor, Apostle Karen L. Hale and family. Our beloved Elder, Dr. Brenda Talley transitioned to her final resting place of peace on Friday, August 27, 2021.

She was truly a blessing to NLM. A major pillar in her Fayetteville, NC and Baltimore, MD churches. She instantly had an impression on everyone she encounter. She was loved by so many. She was a great elder, teacher, leader, counselor, mother, grandmother, and friend to so many. She encouraged and motivated everyone in her presence. Whether through her jokes, personal testimonies, or her sermons. You knew Dr. Talley was in the room because of her radiance, energy, and love for all.

Continue to keep NLM and the family in your prayers during their time of bereavement. We know that during this time there will be sadness, but we believe God will provide peace and strength in their time of need.

On behalf of Apostle Karen L. Evans and the NLM Family, we send our deepest condolences to the family of Prophet William E. Smith. He transitioned to his final rest of peace this week.

Keep the family and The Shabach Movement in prayer. This young man was not only gifted musically, he was on fire for Christ. He has touched and inspired so many with his love, songs, voice, and caring heart.

May God give all hearts peace and strength. Jesus' love will comfort everyone.

Apostle Karen L. Evans and New Life Ministries would like to express our deepest condolences to the family of Velma McKoy in their time of bereavement. Her brother, Melvin McKoy, transitioned to his perfect rest of peace. We are continually praying strength, comfort, and peace for the family.
