So ... here’s a portion of what we planned for this evening. May God bless you as you carry both the usual and the unexpected burdens of the day.

Hopefully, the entirety will be available tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.

I apologize for the delay. I have had technology problems all afternoon trying to do something that is effective, yet uploadable. I’ll continue to work the problem and will notify you when it us available.
Peace. Pr John.

[03/18/20]   Tonight’s Lenten Message from Pastor John will be available at 7:30pm

[03/18/20]   Today I was looking for a good word in the midst of the chaotic events of COVID-19. I saw a video on facebook by the Caniff-Kuhn brothers. Wonderfully and joyfully fun and faithful. Morning Watch. Check it out. I saw flowers blooming, trees budding, robins on a tree limb ... perhaps God made these things automatic to remind us that life - GOD's life - goes on in the midst of challenge and great difficulty. Paramedic units went by the house several times. Someone brilliant (Garrison, my eldest) introduced me to new computer software that will help us improve the online worship video. God works in ways like that too! I saw parts of two news conferences - government leaders making hard decisions that will affect virtually everyone in the state or nation. And they have to make the decisions that will help us, and yet make life more burdensome. No one enjoys those situations - but I am thankful that wisdom and compassion is at the center of their decision-making.
Where did you see God in the midst of the day? I'm certain that The Spirit is alive and working overtime in your life to support, encourage, and offer strength to journey through these difficult times.
Be strong! Be brave! For the Lord our God is with us!

Welcome to St James March 15, 2020 We apologize for the temporary interruptions of the live video feed- as most of you know... WiFi can be unpredictable at times.
We are blessed by your participation- May you be blessed by receiving this message-
God bless each of you and may we all feel God’s comforting presence during this unprecedented season in our lives.

At the recommendation of our synodical bishop, Rev. Tim Smith, we will suspend all worship services through the end of March and instead of physically gathering, offer an on line version for worship.
