PENTECOST IN THE PARK - LOCATION CHANGE With the rain falling today, and the forecast for tomorrow being less than ideal, the decision has been made to move Pentecost in the Park to the New Life Center at Haymount UMC. Worship will still begin at 10:00 - doors will be open at 9:00 to begin gathering. We still plan to have kids’ activities and food trucks—a festival inside! If you are volunteering in any capacity, please plan on arriving by 8:00am. You won't need to bring a chair - we'll have plenty. And don't forget - wear something RED! (Please share this post!)

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Reaching Out Ministry is preparing to partner with Zion UMC (W. PA Conference) and At the Lake Ministry to host the first Champion's Club Mission trip on the week of 23 July 2018. Registration forms and "At the Lake Ministry Flyer" will be in the next church bulletin until the end of December 2017. Guardian of the Champions must travel with their missionaries. Cost per missionary and Guardian is $100. If a family cannot financially swing this amount, please contact me directly, ([email protected]) to make special arrangements.

Ladies and Gentlemen, The Reaching Out Team has just voted to conduct a matching drive to sponsor Mt. Olive's Show "Behold the Lamb". For every $1 donated to host Mt. Olive UMC, the Reaching Out Team will match that donation up to $500 using the remaining Evangelism Budget (Total Cost to sponsor is $1K. We would like to plan to host them on 15 December 2017 in Owen Chapel. Please Donate to the Church so that we can make this happen.

Rod, I cannot thank you and Vicki enough for all you have done for and with the UMCG youth group. To this day, Aislinn talks about the trips she took w you and the youth group, the fun she had, and the things she learned about life, love, and the Power of God. She very much appreciates all that she experienced and learned while she was a member of the group. She will forever remember, with great fondness, the trips to Lake Tillery and other group trips. The Otero family would like to express our deepest gratitude for all you have done to shape and mold the youth of UMCG church, always encouraging them to live a strong Christian Life.
