All food is delivered curbside while you remain in your car. Each family will receive a box of food based on the number of members in their household and if the family has children. Also available are hygiene products, paper goods, and toiletries. Bread and pastries donated by Publix are given out daily to those in need. We are blessed by the generous donations of local communities, organizations, churches, and individuals who help to keep our shelves full. Free Clothing Closet The Jubilee Center offers free clothing to the families using our Food Pantry on Tuesdays from 10am - Noon. Clothes may be obtained upon request when picking up food and are distributed curbside as well. Back Pack Ministry The Back Pack Program provides nutritious weekend meals for low-income families and homeless who attend Englewood Elementary School. Kid friendly nutritious food is purchased from All Faiths Food Bank and delivered every two weeks to the Jubilee Center where it is sorted, packed, and delivered to the school for distribution. This program is made possible through donations from groups and individuals who give to sponsor a child for one school year.
Mission: The mission of Jubilee Ministry is to make a direct and dynamic link between our theology and our ethics. We must take care of the poor but we also must attack the root causes of that poverty. Charity and justice go hand in hand. Said another way: the talk of our faith and the walk of our faith.
