Beautiful sunrise service this morning at Indian Mound Park. He is Risen! Risen indeed!
YOUNG LIFE will be opening a new office and meeting area in the very near future! Ribbon cutting at the Pt. Charlotte Mall is scheduled for early May. The new center is located next to where Sears was and needs a lot of TLC before it is opened to the teens! If you have time or skills to donate, PLEASE let us know. We have flooring that needs to be put down, electrical stuff, plumbing stuff and just general stuff that needs to be put together. Call Tom Parker, (941)456-5433 for more information. Even an hour would be a big help! This is one of the ministries that our church supports financially...let's help them physically!
Easter Sunday Sunrise Service at Indian Mound Park in Englewood at 7:00 a.m. Everyone is invited to join us to celebrate our Risen Savior as we worship him in songs and praise! Chairs are provided, but you may bring your own if you want.There is a children's church provided for children 4-12 taught by background checked volunteers as well as a craft. Following the celebration service a continental breakfast will be served to all who want to join us!
April 18th - Living Last Supper at EUMC 7:30 p.m. As a part of our Holy Week we will be joining our own Todd Baird as he participants in the presentation of the Living Last Supper.
April 27th - Men's Breakfast
April 28th - POT LUCK - all are welcome to join for good food and fellowship
Just a couple of announcements.. A scholarship has been established for the needy children at Englewood Elementary School who want to attend Good News Club. The GOOD NEWS SCHOLARSHIP is now able to receive donations!

What's happening at Grace?
"GRACE GOOD NEWS SCHOLARSHIP" There are plans in place to create a Scholarship Program in order to keep the children in Good News Club. Watch for details and opportunities as we progress with this.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - To teach 1st - 3rd grade Sunday School on a rotating basis. There is a sign up sheet on the Community Board. Lessons are provided.
FAITH PROMISE PLEDGE CARDS FOR MISSIONS - We ask that the cards be turned in on or before March 3rd. Place it either in the Offering Plate or the Benevolence Fund Box.
FEBRUARY 14th - LaStanza Restaurant 6:30 p.m. Celebrate Valentine's Day with your church family. We will be in a private room, limited menu including appetizer, entrees and dessert. RSVP to Patty by February 3rd.
FEBRUARY 16th - Ladies movie afternoon at Wendy's 2:00 p.m. Wendy will provide popcorn and a few sweets. If you would like, bring a little snack to share, but not necessary.
MARCH 2nd - Missions BBQ Dinner and Silent Auction. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Invite your family and friends. Sign up on the sheet on the Community Board by February 17th so we know how much food to prepare.

Tomorrow morning is the PRAYS WALK for this month! Join us at 8 am sharp in the parking lot at church and we will go together to Sky Academy to pray. They begin their Wyldlife after school this week!

[01/16/19] This Sunday, the 20th, is a special day! Not only is it pot luck Sunday, we are having a housewarming shower for a friend of the church! A young man starting out a new life with a 5 year old son! Gift cards from Home Depot, WalMart, Publix, ect would be wonderful! Please join us in eating and celebrating!
Remember to save the date...Saturday, January 26th! At 8:00 am we will meet here in the church parking lot and go together to a local school to pray for the students and staff. Prayers of a righteous man worketh much! Hope to see many of you there!

Celebrating the birth of Jesus!
We gathered today to make these Bible favors for the teachers from our Good News Club!
Ladies of the church got together for lunch, fellowship and work! We packed 20 waterproof zip totes with personal essentials, 10 for females and 10 for males to be handed out to campers on Christmas Eve at the candlelight service!
Don't forget this Saturday is the November PRAYS WALK! Meet at the church at 8:00 so we can go to LA Ainger and pray for students, staff and neighbors. If you choose to meet us there, we will be there about 8:15-8:20. Love to see a whole bunch of you there....men, women and teens!
Wonderful turn out for the Pregnancy Solutions banquet although we had a few empty seats due to illnesses. Food was superb and Lisa, the new Director, is awesome!
PRAYS WALK will happen on November 17th this month, a little earlier than usual because of Thanksgivng! We meet here at the church at 8:00 am and then go together to the school chosen for the month. You are all invited to come and pray with us for the school and for the students and neighbors!

October 27th will be the next PRAYS WALK for a local school. All who are interested in joining us please meet here at the church at 8 am. We will then proceed to the school to be prayed for. Join us as we pray for the students, the school and the neighborhood! Open to men, women and teens! Please join us in making a difference.
Come join us on Sunday morning for Worship and Praise at 10 am! Adult Bible Study at 9 am with child care and Sunday School at 10 am.

Wonderful time this morning at Lemon Bay High School doing a PRAYS WALK! It is always such a privilege to pray for schools. This was our last PRAYS WALK until October. We will let you know when we will pray again... have a good summer!
[07/21/18] Tomorrow is PRAYS WALK at 8:00 am! Meet at Grace Community Church, 1600 S. McCall Rd., Englewood to pray for a local school...all are invited!
Join us this Thursday night at Beyond the Sea in Englewood for a night of good music by our beloved Pastor John and wife, Patti, as they share a lot of Johnny Cash and other country legends! Patti always brings a smile and a couple of cute duos with Pastor for a great evening. The food is good and the fellowship even better! Hope to see you ALL there for the entertainment...6pm until 8.
Young Life Campers this week! There were 16 boys in one cabin and all but two of them gave their life to Christ! That is the ministry that our church has a part in!
It was great to present the kids with the awards in church today! They all joined us for Sunday School and stayed for a reception in their honor. Thanks to all the adults who helped make it possible... Sharon for snacks everyday , Carol for heading up the crafts with Nikki being a great helper! Then there were the fabulous lunches for the missionaries provided by the Deckers, Marilyn, Marge and George, Patti and Pastor John and Ariel... All of you helped our 5-Day Club to be a success!
Be sure to join us tomorrow morning as we salute the young missionaries who have been bringing the Word to the children all week and as we give the earned prizes to the winners! There will be cookies and coffee after service in honor of the 5-Day Club children and their families and the missionaries. Service begins at 10:00 am.
The last day of 5-Day Club... The kids were sad to go! They plan to come back on Sunday with parents to show you what they have learned. Be sure to join us and help them all feel the Love that Grace has! Thanks Miss Ariel for the beautiful sign and the great buffet!
