You were the best person I ever knew. The way you carried yourself made me want to be just like you. I wanted to have your exceeding intelligence and courageousness. I adored the types of relationships you had with other individuals. I always felt so proud whenever legendary things were spoken about you.
You were a powerful man of God who truly cared for others. I envied your enduring commitment to God and your ministry, even when times where tough. The sheer power that came from you, just from moving a finger or opening your mouth, dazed anyone who witnessed it.
The heaviness of regret constricts my heart. If I could turn back time, I would spend more time with you. I would speak with you and listen more. Though I harbor these regrets, I don't let it hinder me because I know everything is alright. I know that you are happy and relieved in God's embracing hands. You've accomplished so much.
I just want to say I am proud of you and I love you very much, Grandpa.

[03/23/14]   I write to encourage anyone who is currently faced with an impossible situation. THIS TOO SHALL PASS. Nehemiah 2:1, 4:1, 6:1 and 7:1 all start with "and it came to pass". No matter how big this problem seems it has a time constraint. It is bound to expire so don't let the current condition consume you. The situation itself is a slave and time eventually will exert it's rule. Don't give up, THIS TOO SHALL PASS.
