Good morning. Blessed to worship with you.
To all my church family. 💝💖
Thanks for the YouTube link for the online service! :)
Plan to stay with your child(children) this Sunday from 4-6 at BOLT!!! The kids are going to use some of the print art skills they have learned the last few weeks and paint a picture with their parent/grandparent. If you have multiple kids in BOLT, you may work with multiple kids on their own pictures, but it might be handy to bring another adult (parent/aunt/uncle/grandparent/any adult you like) to help create a fall masterpiece together! We have a guest speaker at the beginning, then we'll paint for about an hour, with a quick break for the kids to play games, then we'll finish with dinner for all. You do not want to miss this BOLT!
Attention Churches Blessing Bikes For Kids Is a fairly new non profit that takes used bicycles, repairs, prays over them and gives them to children and in some cases adults who need a Bicycle. We pray over the bikes for salvation for the child / person receiving the bike and their household. We are always accepting donations for free used bikes and parts or if you know of a family / child who is in need we`d like to help. We would love to see this program started in other churches. This is a great way to witness to families and invite them to your church. All it takes is someone to volunteer to collect and repair / deliver the bikes. We will assist you in starting a program and you`re welcome to use the name Blessing Bikes For kids. Contact : Larry Mason PH# 302-659-5077 Txt: 302-535-3965 Facebook – Blessing Bikes For Kids

God sent his son. He entered into our darkness even though he was the light. He lived under oppression though he is glorious in liberty. He took on our violence because he is the Prince of Peace. He became a slave to free us from bondage. He zealously loves us in order to win us. His name is Jesus, Immanuel, for he is with us to save us from our sins. May his story be told around the world today. Merry Christmas.
So thankful for the live feed so that I can still be apart of the service even while I'm in Kentucky. Thank you Jesus for all your blessings.

Our mission is to love and serve our community and world with the good news of Jesus Christ, bringing people together across the lines of race and class to worship and follow Jesus.

Exercise Your Rights In Christ

Deuteronomy 18:15-20 & 1 Corinthians 8:1-13
The rights that we have are given to us by God. The knowledge that we have of God has been given to us by him as well. Then we ought to use what God has given us to glorify him and edify those around us, particularly the church. This is not done merely through accumulated, lofty knowledge of the laws, but through the love that comes from Christ.

Dec 27 2020 God Sent His Son

God sent his Son.

Four words that changed the world are found in our scripture reading on the last Sunday of 2020 and the first Sunday after Christmas Day.

Just as it served to strengthen and encourage the faith of believers in the first century, the ramifications of God sending his Son are sources of strength and hope as we face a new year. Because Christ entered the world our daily living is now changed. God sending his Son changes everything from the womb to the tomb. God sending his Son changes what we were, changes who we are, and changes what we have. We were slaves, but now we are sons who have an inheritance.

Dec 20 2020 That All Nations Might Believe and Obey

This past fourth Sunday of Advent's Scripture reading gives us the perfect benediction to the Advent of Christ. For as Christ's coming is the perfect gift for humankind, this doxology at the end of Romans unwraps for us the meaning of this gift. Namely, "that all nations might believe and obey him". Paul says this is "my gospel" that is a mystery hidden for long ages past, revealed through the prophetic writings by the command of God so that all nations might believe and obey him--"through Jesus Christ!"
The passage instructs us in the who, what, why and how of believing and obeying him. This is in keeping with our church's vision and mission. Our vision and mission is to love and serve our community and world with the good news of Jesus Christ. Bringing people together across the lines of race and class to worship and follow Jesus. When the gift of Christ is lived by the people of God, the true meaning of Christmas is made known to a world that is longing for love, peace and unity.

Nov 29 2020 Now Rend the Heavens and Come Down

2020 has been exhausting. Through transitions, and the disappointment of planned ministry loss, it feels tiring

2020 has been like that bad family member whom you like more when they are leaving then when they are coming. You want to say to 2020, "Don't let the door hit you on the way out!"

Yet, for all of its difficulty, 2020 is a year that the Lord has given to us. It has presented us a perfect time to collectively drop to our knees and pray like the people of God in our reading, "Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down..."

This is the first Sunday of Advent and it begins with prayer. Advent is a time where we are reflecting on the coming of the Lord. How he came into the world the first time and how we prepare for his coming a second time.

Our Scripture reading teaches us how to pray for the Lord's coming.

We pray confidently, competently and cautiously.

Nov 22 2020 Head Over Everything For the Church

Our reading for last Sunday’s message reminds us of the importance of the church in God’s plan for the reconciliation of everything. (Ephesians 1:10, 22) If you want to know what God is doing in the world, look at the Church. What does God say about the Church? He says it is his body of which Christ is the head. He says the church is the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. Since this is true about Christ and the church, we can know that God, through Christ has made everything available to the Church to accomplish his will. Don’t diss the Church!

If God places this kind of importance on the Church, then what type of church are we? Furthermore, if all of this is true, then how should our church pray in these times? How should we react to each other in these times of racial and political unrest? With so much uncertainty, it is comforting to know that God is at work in Christ faithfully, enduringly, and lovingly shepherding his people, unendingly. (Psalm 100)

Giving thanks that the call and transfer of Rev. Joshua Suh as Associate Pastor at Grace was approved today by Heritage Presbytery, held at Cornerstone PCA north of UD on 896 into PA

Words either discourage or encourage. An encouraging word, is described in Proverbs 15:30 this way; "A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones." Like good comfort food, good news is health to the bones!

Who has better news than the people of God?

Nov 15 2020 Sermon: Encourage and Build One Another Up

The scripture reading from this past Sunday’s message commands us to encourage and build each other up. The believers at Thessalonica had concerns about the nature, time and date of Christ’s coming. Paul sought to encourage them as to what to expect and how to live while they wait for the Day of the Lord. But why should the Christian be encouraged about the Day of the Lord? The Day of the Lord is an often forgotten part of the gospel, yet it is vital to understanding the richness of God’s plan, consecration and appointment for those whom he has loved. Believers today, like the Thessalonians, have concerns about our times too and how we are to relate to the coming of the Lord. Our reading shows us how to live today in preparation for the Day of the Lord. As Christians who seek to be wise and understand the times in which we live, this sermon will teach us why, what, and how to encourage and build each other up with the gospel.
