To all my church family. đź’ťđź’–
Thanks for the YouTube link for the online service! :)
Plan to stay with your child(children) this Sunday from 4-6 at BOLT!!! The kids are going to use some of the print art skills they have learned the last few weeks and paint a picture with their parent/grandparent. If you have multiple kids in BOLT, you may work with multiple kids on their own pictures, but it might be handy to bring another adult (parent/aunt/uncle/grandparent/any adult you like) to help create a fall masterpiece together! We have a guest speaker at the beginning, then we'll paint for about an hour, with a quick break for the kids to play games, then we'll finish with dinner for all. You do not want to miss this BOLT!
Attention Churches Blessing Bikes For Kids Is a fairly new non profit that takes used bicycles, repairs, prays over them and gives them to children and in some cases adults who need a Bicycle. We pray over the bikes for salvation for the child / person receiving the bike and their household. We are always accepting donations for free used bikes and parts or if you know of a family / child who is in need we`d like to help. We would love to see this program started in other churches. This is a great way to witness to families and invite them to your church. All it takes is someone to volunteer to collect and repair / deliver the bikes. We will assist you in starting a program and you`re welcome to use the name Blessing Bikes For kids. Contact : Larry Mason PH# 302-659-5077 Txt: 302-535-3965 Facebook – Blessing Bikes For Kids

God sent his son. He entered into our darkness even though he was the light. He lived under oppression though he is glorious in liberty. He took on our violence because he is the Prince of Peace. He became a slave to free us from bondage. He zealously loves us in order to win us. His name is Jesus, Immanuel, for he is with us to save us from our sins. May his story be told around the world today. Merry Christmas.
So thankful for the live feed so that I can still be apart of the service even while I'm in Kentucky. Thank you Jesus for all your blessings.

Be Merciful… Jesus commanded, “Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.” But we struggle with the wisdom of applying mercy. When someone approaches you on the street, do you give them cash when they ask you for help? Do you feel guilty if you don’t help them or do you ignore them? Mercy is something God gives us and calls us to give to others. But we need to do it in a way that leads them to Christ and doesn’t hurt them or us. Join the deacons and deaconesses of Grace Church on Sunday evening at 4:00 pm, for a time of questions and answers with Randy Nabors and Robert Blevins. Randy grew up in the projects of Newark, NJ, is the founding pastor of New City Fellowship in Chattanooga, and the author of the book “Merciful, The Opportunity and Challenge of Discipling the Poor Out of Poverty”. He is a retired Army Chaplain and is the long time Urban and Mercy Coordinator for Mission To North America and the Founder of the New City Network, of which Grace Church is a member. Randy and Robert travel the country teaching and training deacons in the ministry of mercy as well as strengthening and encouraging churches who share the vision of reconciliation through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Randy will also be preaching for us in both services on Sunday. Jesus said, that it is the merciful who shall receive mercy. So, please take this opportunity to acquire some wisdom in being merciful, Sunday evening from 4-6pm.

Our mission is to love and serve our community and world with the good news of Jesus Christ, bringing people together across the lines of race and class to worship and follow Jesus.

June 7, 2020 Worship Service: Music: Your Grace is Enough, Hear My Cry, Come Thou Almighty King, What a Beautiful Name It Is, Just Let Me Say, I Give My All, Crown Him With Many Crowns. Message: Meeting Jesus on the Mountain, Kenny Foster, Associate Pastor.

Reopening update!

Our commitment is to glorify the Lord and to honor your health and safety. Our in-person worship service will begin on June 14 at 9:15 AM!

For more details, visit this link: https://mailchi.mp/bce829d393b8/good-news-about-gathering

We are asking that you RSVP for June 14 by June 9 as we will have limited seating. The link to RSVP is https://reopen.church/r/a4GIhoop.

Due to the increased health risk, it is recommended that people over 65 or with underlying health issues should not attend in person at this time.

If you are sick or have a temperature, even if you don’t think it is COVID-19, you should stay home.

Everyone over the age of 12 must wear masks during the worship service.

Social distancing of 6 feet must be maintained at all times.

Children are to stay with their parents at all times.

Waiting to be physically together in worship has been an emotional time but one emotion that we would encourage you to not give into is guilt. No one should be made to feel guilty if they choose not to come right now. Each person is free to do what their conscience is leading them to do and no one should judge them in it.

Group of PCA Coordinators and Presidents Issues Statement on “Heinous Killings”

Our denomination's online magazine byFaith Magazine issued a statement by a group of PCA denominational leaders. They can't speak officially on behalf of the PCA (that would require a meeting of the General Assembly), but they do share their wisdom and their heart.

May 30 Reopening Update

Associate Pastor Kenny Foster gives a brief update on the work of our team planning for reopening.

When some of us look in the mirror, all we see are our imperfections. By Jesus's saving power, God looks on His people and sees only His own perfection. How does that make you feel today?

Our "new normal" isn't so new anymore, but it's definitely not normal. Feeling COVID-19 stress today? Check out these wise tips and reminders.

Jesus is above all things--that's something to celebrate! How does that reassure you today?

Online Worship Tips

You're invited to Sunday worship at 9:15 AM, live on Facebook! In the meantime, here is Jeff Rakes, Pastor of Worship and Administration, giving tips for making online worship even better!

Share your wisdom below. 👇

Jesus walked ahead of us: How's the path you're walking on today--smooth, rough, winding, steep, dusty, dark, lonely, cheery, thrilling, curious, colorful? Pick a word and share it!

In the Amplified Bible translation, Matthew 28:20 has Jesus saying, "Lo, I am with you always, remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion, even to the end of the age.” He is with us, no matter what!

Happy Mother's Day!

May 10, 2020 Worship Service

Today's Music: Once for All, Every Praise (trilingual), He Lives, All Honor and Glory, Blessed, Lord, I Give You My Heart, All the Way My Savior Leads Me. Today's Message: Do Not Let Your Hearts Be Troubled, Psalm 31, John 14. Jonathan Seda, Senior Pastor.

Finding yourself in front of your electronic devices a lot more than usual? If you've got a case of screen fatigue, you're not alone! Here are some tips for resting your eyes and reconnecting with the real world.

Wow--the apostle Paul could probably relate! In Romans 1:11-12, he said, "I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong—that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith." Agreed!!

Fellowship involves sharing. Sharing by its very nature means giving oneself to someone else so that you have communion. That means fellowship costs. - Pastor Kenny Foster

We may not be able to physically fellowship right now, but we are praying we will be able to soon! While we wait, what are some ways we can still fellowship in these socially distant times? Hint: Check the comments!

Quarantine has disrupted a lot of people's plans for long-awaited events, like weddings, graduations, and special adventures. It's OK to pray for comfort over disappointments. Really. It's OK.
