Attention Churches Blessing Bikes For Kids Is a fairly new non profit that takes used bicycles, repairs, prays over them and gives them to children and in some cases adults who need a Bicycle. We pray over the bikes for salvation for the child / person receiving the bike and their household. We are always accepting donations for free used bikes and parts or if you know of a family / child who is in need we`d like to help. We would love to see this program started in other churches. This is a great way to witness to families and invite them to your church. All it takes is someone to volunteer to collect and repair / deliver the bikes. February 2018 Dear Friends: The Executive Committee of the “Third Annual First Lady’s Hat and Gloves Tea,” requests your support of this year’s event. The co-chairs are Dr. Robin Williams, Mrs. Virginia Lewis Carson, and Mrs. Enid Wallace-Simms. The affair will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Delaware State University’s Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center at 4:00 p.m. Typical attendance has been a sold out event of over 400. Your support is greatly needed for this excellent event in support of DSU Honors Program students. Net proceeds will provide funds for book vouchers and for student travel to national conferences, such as the National Collegiate Honors Council Conference, the National Regional Conference and/or the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Honors Conference. This year, we will be honoring three women representing New Castle, Kent and Sussex Counties. They are: Dr. Beatrice “Bebe” Coker, New Castle County; Dr. Mabel Morrison, Kent County; and The Honorable Esthelda Parker-Selby, Sussex County. In addition, we will recognize First Ladies within our churches, in celebration of “National Women’s History Month.” The dedicated ad booklet will be a commemorative keepsake for all. It will also serve as a nice channel for individual members to congratulate or memorialize their First Ladies or Church Mothers. Ads/Sponsor packages are tax deductible and funds raised will be used to support the operations of the Honors Program. Please review the order form describing the available sponsorship and advertising opportunities, complete and return it along with your payment. Kindly reply by March 9, 2018.
