COVID-19 Outreach, Check-in with Pastor

Family, don't forget, we're talking about community in ONE HOUR! You don't want to miss this conversation on how to safely, and creatively build beloved community!

Church of the Disciple believes that we are called by God, invited by Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to build beloved community with faith, resources, and hope. Join Pastor Phelps and our special guests for a conversation on outreach during a pandemic TONIGHT at 7pm!

Recently, the Bishop of the North Texas Annual Conference released a statement notifying the public that United Methodist congregations in North Texas would not be opened until, at least, May 31. Church of the Disciple supports this decision and will not be open. However, Church of the Disciple is located in and home to a community uniquely affected by this pandemic. We believe that it is irresponsible and reckless to re-open the economy in this state.
