Word of Life Interdenominational Church It is our prayer that we as a congregation, and you as an individual, will capture the spirit of excellence.
Anyone who has taken significant time to study the character and the ways of God will find that He Is a God of excellence. Everything that God does is done correctly and is the best. This way of excellence is a life that every believer should pursue. At the same time, anyone who pursues a life of excellence must understand the underlying principle in the character of God that derives from excellence – that principle is love. The Bible said that God is love. It is not by accident that we find in 1 Corinthians a clear teaching about the dynamic spiritual gifts of the Spirit. And, nestled right in between Chapters 12 and 14 is the Love Chapter in 1 Corinthians 13.
Mission: Vision Worldwide evangelism is the primary focus of this congregation/ministry. We envision people coming together to know God and having a changed life as a result. Building strong families and preaching the good news of Jesus Christ! Our end result in pursuit of this vision is that we will know God on a deeper level. Mission - To accept and receive all people - To nurture and disciple them in the love of Christ and the Word of God - To help them identify and move into God’s purpose and destiny for their lives - To provide an atmosphere where broken vessels are made new
Tomorrow Will Take Care of Itself
You keep on worrying about that examination for tomorrow. You keep on thinking about your presentation at the company tomorrow. You cannot sleep because of your international flight tomorrow.
As humans, we all have different kinds of worries for what the future will bring to us. But as the word of God said, we should cast our worries upon Him. Tomorrow will take care of itself. Just have faith in what the Lord has to offer in your life. Everything will be okay with His plans for you.

If you’re feeling really great that you don’t know who else to share your happiness with, you can still talk to God about it. God is your ultimate best friend. He is someone who will never abandon you, whether in good or in bad times. God knows the desires of your heart, and He will help you achieve of them according to His will.

Being the Good Example
God has always told His people that His ways should be followed. But we tend to forget His teaching as we embark on our own journey in life. However, it is never too late to start being the good example in the community. You should be active in your Church, help those who are in need, and act righteously like God would do. Be the good example and your children will follow you. Your actions can be impactful to others.

Pray Before Going Outdoors
You must be well aware that when you take a step outside of your home, you are already exposing yourself to several dangers. While it is recommended for you to say a little prayer asking for protection from God at home, there is nothing wrong with you praying in the train, in the car, or along the streets as you embark on your own journey. God is everywhere, and He is listening to your prayers. Always remember to tell Him where you’re headed to and that you need His blanket of protection.

Praying Before Going to Sleep
Do you pray before you fall asleep? A prayer before going to sleep can help you end the day peacefully. You can talk to God about the good and the bad things that happened in your day. Reflect about your mistakes and your achievements for the day. Finally, ask the Lord to protect you while you sleep. Hazards are still present when you sleep, such as sudden loss of breath or heartbeat, calamities, emergencies, and nightmares.

What Is a Life Testimony?
Why You Should Learn to Give Thanks
Is the idea of thanksgiving only a season for you? In fact, this act of giving thanks shouldn’t be just a day on the calendar. It should be an everyday practice for our lives to grow fruitfully. The reason that you can experience fulfillment when you give thanks is that you’re practicing humility. When you say thanks, you’re also acknowledging that you’re not able to make it without that person you’re thanking to. That’s why God’s Word tells us that it is God’s will for us to give thanks to Him. If you want to enjoy life every day, learn to give God thanks.

God Is Love
How many times have you heard this? Those moments can’t be counted perhaps. But have you taken the time to really reflect on what this means for you? He is love and He loves you. Isn’t it mind-blowing that someone as great as God can love someone like you?

It’s Just a Prayer Away
What has been boggling your mind? Do you know that you can pray your troubles away? Jesus told his followers not to worry because the heavenly Father already knows what they need even before they ask Him. Let this truth comfort you today. Pray and surrender your worries to God.
You Can Rise up from the Ashes
Failure is not exclusive to some groups of people. But this is not the main thing that should comfort us. Instead, we should be comforted by the truth that all our failures can be used by God to fulfill His purpose in our lives. In Romans 8:28, His believers are assured that “all things” are able to work together for the good of those who love Him, and who have been called to His purpose. This truth ought to give us comfort that no matter how burned, we can still rise up from the ashes. It is the Lord God who will give us new life to live again.
Turn Your Worries Over to God
So many things in life can get you worried. We know. We’ve been there. And as long as we breathe, there will still be many things in life that get us worried. Our great comfort is that God can meet whatever it is we’re worried about. Jesus himself explained this to his disciples in Matthew 6. In essence, he said, why should you worry when God Almighty has seen your need even before you pray about them? What we need to work on is faith and total dependence on God. Stop worrying. Start trusting.
Watch Your Language
Has someone already called your attention in that regard? The reason we should watch our language is that our words can either build up or break down people’s lives. One word of cheer can already light up the hope in their hearts. One mindless message can be their last straw. You don’t know the battles that people fight. Your kind word can be what they need to hear to win their fight. So yes, please, watch your language.

How to Avoid Conflict
Every conflict is like fire. Whatever you add to it can either increase the heat or douse the fire. If you add petrol, the fire can explode. If you add water, the fire can die. This is how you avoid conflict. When someone treats you with harsh words, respond with gentleness. You can keep the conflict getting out of bounds with a gentle answer. This is your water to the fire. The next time someone snaps at you, why don’t you take a deep breath and strive to reply with a gentle answer.
Once Saved, Always Saved
One of Satan’s greatest weapons is doubt. And he loves to instill doubt to every believer, especially about the assurance of salvation. We remind you based on God’s word that nothing and no one can snatch you out of the Father’s hand. You do not look for the assurance of salvation in your works and in other people, but in the Bible. In fact, the promise of the assurance of salvation is echoed in it because God does not want you to constantly wonder and worry about your salvation. He wants you to be forever joyful that you are His child forever.
The Fruit of the Spirit
His Eyes Are on the Sparrow
We worry a lot. And that is understandable. We don’t want to wake up next day with resources next to nothing. That is why we work hard to make sure it doesn’t happen. Yet, the Bible tells us to simply refrain from being anxious. It tells us that the flowers do not make clothes, yet our heavenly Father clothes them. The birds of the air do not sow or reap, yet our heavenly Father feeds them. If our Almighty Father does that for his creation, imagine what He would do for his own children! So the next time you worry, remember that you are beyond precious to his eyes.
The Omnipresence of God
Our God is omnipresent; therefore, you can pray wherever you want!
Remember the Sabbath Day
When’s the last time you’ve been to Church? We hope it was last Sunday! Sometimes, we are unable to go to Church because of appropriate reasons such as being too sick and others. Some people have this belief that when you skip church, you are at risk of God’s wrath. Remember that God’s love is not based on whether or not you skipped church last Sunday, but because He is Love. So if you missed one Sunday, that’s okay! Just don’t use God’s mercy as a license to skip church. After all, the Church is vital for our spiritual growth.
Prayer should be our first line of defense and not our last resort.
The Christian Life
The Christian life is far from sinless. How far? Imagine the distance between the ends of the observable universe: 93 billion light years, and even that is merely an understatement! Remember that when we have to come to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, it doesn’t mean that our sinful nature magically disappears. Our old, evil nature is still living with us, and it is up to us who we choose to take control of our lives. Do we allow the Holy Spirit to take control of our lives or do we give the reins to our evil nature instead? Let us choose the former always.
It Is Well with My Soul
“It is well with my soul” is a famous hymn written by Horatio Spafford who drew inspiration from his very own tragic story. His son died at an early age, his business failed, a great fire destroyed him financially, and all four of his daughters died when their boat sank. He had every right to complain to God about his misfortunes, but instead, he chose to praise him by writing one of the most enduring and influential hymns of all time. So whenever you hit rock bottom, just remember the lines of the hymn: “Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say: It is well, it is well with my soul.”
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” - 1 John 4:18
At times, we fear of loving others or feeling concerned towards others. We fear of getting hurt. We fear of not getting what we want or not being enough for others. However, God shows us that love should be unconditional. Once you love without any conditions, you will not fear anything. All your fears will be erased by the Lord, as He knows what the perfect kind of love is. And He gives that kind of love to all of us.

Giving Without Expecting Anything in Return
Altruism is another word for being selfless when helping others. But is there such a thing as true altruism? Sometimes, you might help others. And when the people you’ve helped before won’t help you back when you’re the one in need, you might get angry. But God did not tell us to get angry at the people who do not help us. He tells us to help others and to love others unconditionally just like He did. We should give without expecting something in return. That’s when giving feels satisfying.

Making Little Sacrifices for Our Loved Ones
Do you ever complain about your loved one’s little requests? Were there times you had to save your loved one from getting hurt or humiliated? Just like how God gave us His only begotten son to save us by dying on the cross, we should also make little sacrifices for our loved ones. We should not ask for anything in return when we sacrifice for them. We should sacrifice for the sole reason that we love them. Let us emulate God’s example.

Speak to Him
When you need a friend, you can always speak to God. You don’t need the Internet or any device. All you need is to be sincere and to be aware that God is always by your side. Never be afraid to open up to Him. #speaktohim #WordofLifeInterdenominationalChurch
Faith is Not a Competition
Faith cannot be measured. Furthermore, faith should not be used as a reason to fight with others or to compete with others. Whoever gives the most to the church is not the most faithful. Whoever dedicates the most time to religious activities is not the most faithful, either. Although these are acts that make God happy, He does not want us to fight over who is the most faithful among all. He feels our sincerity, our meaning, and our love for us. He can see the things we could not see.
