When situations in life squeeze you, Jesus should be the only thing that comes out.
Turn everyday inconveniences into testimonies for God !
It's time to overcome the enemy's tactics. Complexity is a lie, Jesus paid a high price to make our victory simple.
Bishop T.D. Jakes and Pastor Steven Furtick talk about moving past the painful, "crushing" seasons of life and into God’s purpose for your future. —— Stay Co...
Set your mind on things above. Do not dwell on thoughts of the past. Choose to leave the past behind you. Our battle is in our mind. The enemy may continue to remind you of your past or even how you messed up yesterday. The future will be great. Ask for strength to control your thoughts. Believe that God will guide you each day in the present.
Pressure, trials and tribulation all work together in our life and help to produce the character of Christ. Rejoicing in our sufferings is pretty difficult when you haven't released the pressures to Christ. When your faith is tried over and over and over it is producing patience. The concept of waiting for anything in our generation is challenging. I get the most distracted/frustrated in my own journey when I don't understand or agree with God's timing. We are instructed to wait patiently on God. To rest in Him. When the entire world is screaming for an answer and action, God is instructing to be silent and your eyes will be opened. "Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in His eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God and you will be secure, Feasting on His faithfulness. If you make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life, Every longing within you will be fulfilled. Give God the right to direct your life And as you trust Him along the way, You’ll find He pulled it off perfectly!" – Psalm 37:3-5 – The Passion Translation

It’s never wise to judge a story by the current scene, good or bad. If you stare at your success too long you’ll either become arrogant or complacent. If you freeze frame your disappointment you’ll be paralyzed by discouragement. Maybe that’s why the apostle Paul warned us to “judge nothing before the appointed time.” He knew you can’t make sense of your life one scene, situation, success or setback at a time. The pieces never look like the picture. It’s true about a box of Legos and life. The dream comes in pieces. Those pieces often resemble disappointments and drudgery. Sometimes, painting the Sistine chapel just sucks.
It’s called the grind. It’s those days as a mom that you feel more like a bipolar UFC referee than a Proverbs 31 woman. It’s what David Foster Wallace called “the large part of adult American life that nobody talks about in commencement speeches…that involves boredom, routine, and petty frustration.”It’s the part of the dream that isn’t advertised in the brochure, because it’s not sexy. Because even when the pieces are all put together, the dream often feels different up close than it did in the distance.
As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.”
What was passed down to you shouldn't necessarily be passed on through you. You are called to change the history of your lineage...to alter the expectations of your family tree...to be a catalyst to greatness to your heritage.
You may come from a long line of alcoholics, drug addicts or abusers but God has anointed you to put a stop to the curse and to begin the blessed life. You are not a victim of your family tree, you are the root of a whole new era in Jesus.
Don’t ever be afraid to look at yourself honestly and critically. Be curious and question whether you have difficulty seeing yourself as you really are – as a person who may have problems, who may cause problems, or who may be failing. It may not be a pretty sight, but if it’s true, you need to know it. It’s much better to know the truth than to preserve your comfort with an illusion that keeps you stuck in unreality. When you quit putting up defenses against the truth, you enable yourself to take charge of your life.
Hope is one of the most powerful forces in the universe. With hope, we can endure almost anything, and certainly more than if we lose it or don't have it to begin with. In short, hope keeps us going. And that is the problem.
But the biggest problem is that it gives us a false reality that needs to be dealt with between us and what we desire. And hope is always our biggest opportunity because if we see it and grasp it, we can find a real way that will work to get what we desire.
