What is redemptive suffering, and what does it mean to unite our suffering to the cross? In this short film, which will be revealed piece by piece this spring at The 635, we will follow the profound story of St. Maximilian Kolbe. Despite his sentence to death, he seeks to bring hope to his fellow prisoners, and desires to understand what it means to enter death and life beyond it. Join us as we enter into a new series this spring, with message by Fr. Edwin Leonard, music by Dave Moore & Lauren Angela Moore, and our Emcee Jason Deuterman who will walk us through this profound journey of hope, redemption and renewal each month at Granada Theater.

The 635 film crew is looking for a house build around the 1970s that hasn’t been renovated recently. They will need to shoot there for 1 day on either May 28, 29, or 30 (preferably May 28). They will need access to film in the front yard, back yard, kitchen, and dining room.

They are also looking for a plastic Fisher Price-style kiddie playhouse.

The first official World Youth Day (WYD) was held in 1986 by His Holiness John Paul II, in Rome, Italy. This large international gathering was inspired by the gathering of over 300,000 young people from around the world who responded to the invitation of JPII for an International jubilee of youth on Palm Sunday in St. Peter’s Square.

The 635 returns tomorrow night! During this winter/spring series, we will explore the complexity of redemptive suffering through the lens of St. Maximilian Kolbe. Check out the new trailer for The 635 - January 2018 which will explore the complexities of redemptive suffering & what it means to unite our suffering to the cross.

The 635 returns Sept 26th and our hearts are racing.

https://www.facebook.com/the635Dallas/videos/518534575147628/

20 centuries ago, a subversive movement started by one man from Nazareth burned through the world, propelled by the signs and wonders of his followers.
How would we live if we were a part of that original movement?

Tuesday the 26th, the 635 is back with a new series on the book of Acts, called Greater Things. To enter more deeply into the mindset of the early church, we created a three part short film to bring the story of Acts into a modern setting. We will reveal a part of the short film every night before the talk. Here is a taster for the first part of the Series: Follow Me. Enjoy, spread the word, and come and see Part I at the Granada Theater next week.

The 635 returns Sept 26th! Get pumped!

Pray and Give.

A few weeks ago, a handful of young adults gathered around a table to hear a story, a need, a calling. We learned, we laughed, we cried, we asked questions. This weekend, we’re hosting a housewarming party for our newly resettled refugee brothers and sisters to prepare some of the furnishings of their new apartments.

Today, we need your support to make this dream a sustainable reality. We created this event fully trusting that God will provide the means to accomplish His work, and now we entrust the effort to you, Church of Dallas and beyond! With a multitude of small gifts, given with great love, we can reach our goal of $800 in additional funding for this weekend.

Pray for our outreach as it grows in its infancy, and if this call stirs within you a desire to serve, give to our cause.
