Exciting news from Worldview Academy!

Worldview Academy is excited to announce new changes to the leadership team! We believe these changes will equip Worldview Academy to meet the unique challenges presented by our constantly changing world.

Mike Schutt is now Worldview Academy’s Executive Director. Mike brings broad leadership experience, a heart for people, and the wisdom required to effectively lead Worldview Academy through these challenging times and into the future.

Another change to the leadership team is Mike Tiland serving in a newly formed role as Director of Operations. Mike Tiland brings over fifteen years of service as a Worldview Academy office staff team leader, camp director, and director of strategic partnerships.

We also want to acknowledge the time and effort invested by Michael DeGroat over the past two years as Executive Director in the midst of challenging circumstances. As Michael transitions his skills and giftings, please join us in praying for his success in the new direction to which God is calling him. We are grateful for his service to us.

The 2021 season is now coming into focus, and we believe it’s going to be an exciting, rich, and rewarding year! Be on the lookout for a camp schedule the first week of December.

Our Story

The year was 1996. Bill Jack, Jeff Baldwin, Randy Sims, and Todd Kent envisioned a place where Christian students could learn to live courageously in the hope of Jesus. The four men came together, with differing gifts and talents, to realize this dream and create a community where young believers could seek a deeper understanding of their faith. Forty students and a handful of staff gathered in Tehuacana, Texas for a week-long, biblically-intensive summer camp centered on worldviews, apologetics, and servant leadership. Twenty one years, 303 camps, and over 35,000 students later, the mission is still the same: to train Christians to think and live in accord with a biblical worldview.
