A simple report: Nancy and I just returned from a 19 day trip to Europe and we had a wonderful time visiting a few alumni in Romania, Croatia, the Netherlands, and Denmark. We are making plans to have a European CFNI Alumni Reunion in 2021. We expect it will be sometime in mid-May to early June. Keep your eyes and ears alert to this page and we will notify you of the details as they develop. I am very encouraged about the prospects of a stronger Alumni ministry being formed and we are wanting to make no promises that we cannot fulfill. Don't forget the 50th Year Reunion this October 28-31, this fall. Details are coming soon about how to register. Blessings, Mike Massa .
Calling all Pastors and Leaders of the Rio Grande Valley! There are moments. There are moments that change the very course of history, and we believe the RGV is about to come into her destiny. For years there have been prophetic words. For years there have been mighty decrees. It's time! Many pastors have labored faithfully for years, scratching at the dust, and holding onto their promises. They prayed and fasted. They prophesied that there was a great revival coming to the Rio Grande Valley, and it waited for only one thing: The leaders of the region to come together and pray! So, no more delay! Let's do the word. We're going to pray. This is our faith, that if we do our part, our God will most certainly do His part. The result will be life forevermore. Psalm 133 1 Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! 2 It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! 3 It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore. Join us on the webinar. We are asking that you would join us promptly at 12 pm (CT). This is a VIDEO call, so please be in a quiet location to remove all possible background noise. After registering, you will receive more instructions. See you Monday! Register here:

☀️ Alumni Update: Jordana Sprouse | Class of 2016

"I graduated from the Children & Family Major and started on a new journey of life with the Lord. During my time at CFNI, I was blessed by so many speakers, mentors, experiences, leaders, and friends, but when I left, I was on my own again. My sister encouraged me by saying, 'Don’t be surprised if you hit a spiritual low in your life with the drastic change – but don’t worry, just keep going.' I held on to that word and kept seeking God even when I didn’t feel a thing. I started working a full-time job and two seasonal jobs, plus ministry on the weekends to keep myself busy, but it wasn’t the same. I distinctly remember a conversation I had with the Lord one morning a few weeks after I got home. I was praying intensely about what He wanted me to do next, asking over and over, feeling as if I was praying to a blank wall.

Then I heard Him say as clear as day, 'Would you still love Me if I never did anything else for you, but gave you salvation?' It was the most beautiful conviction, and I felt instant peace. Yes. I spent so much time feeling like my life was about ministry and being the busiest student in all the ministries, but had forgotten that my life was simply about loving HIM. From then on, I was able to relax and shared some of the most precious times with Him alone. He gave me visions of me dancing with Jesus, and of doing things He knows I love all the while restoring my true identity as I simply spent time with Him.

I stopped getting lonely; I stopped feeling bored or sorry for myself because I wasn’t out 'changing nations.' I was able to build relationships with my family and establish who I was in the Lord based on what HE was telling and showing me. Life with Jesus is the most beautiful thing. He brings you to places you never would have imagined with people you couldn’t have guessed beforehand. I got to marry my best friend, TJ Sprouse, and we are currently back in Texas. I am working as the Kids For The Nations Assistant Director and getting to meet and minister with people from many nations. I love my Lord, and I can truly say that even if He never did another thing for me, I would still just want to be with Him. Keep going, my fellow alumni! ☺"

God's mercies are new every morning! God's grace is sufficient for every day! The Word of God doesn't say "occasionally," "sometimes," or "once-in-awhile." The Lord has a fresh outpouring, renewal of strength, life-changing encounters, and provision for every day. Everything we need is in Him. Today is the day the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it!

In all relationships, communication is more than expressing one's feelings; it's imperative to listen, as well. Enter into the secret place, wait on the Lord, and listen. As you wait, you will renew your strength! God is your refuge, strong-tower, and shield. He goes before you, and He is all around you! This is the time to come away with the Lord!

"I stand silently to listen for the one I love,
waiting as long as it takes for the Lord to rescue me.
For God alone has become my Savior.
He alone is my safe place;
his wrap-around presence always protects me.
For he is my champion defender;
there’s no risk of failure with God.
So why would I let worry paralyze me,
even when troubles multiply around me?" - Psalm 62:1-2

CFNI Alumni

A word of encouragement from CFNI Alumnus, Susan Godwin!

Hope means that we must trust and wait for what is still unseen! Take heart, for Jesus has overcome the world. Hope must not be established in the decisions of man; hope must be anchored deeply in the eternal glory which is to come. Fasten your hope to God's promises, which are yes and amen, and in all things, trust God, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Romans 8:24-25

"For this is the hope of our salvation. But hope means that we must trust and wait for what is still unseen. For why would we need to hope for something we already have? So because our hope is set on what is yet to be seen, we patiently keep on waiting for its fulfillment."

Message From Michael Massa

The silver trumpets are sounding calling leaders together! We are greatly anticipating our CFNI's 50th Year Alumni Reunion on October 28-31, 2020! Register today!

The journey is on! Our destination is secure in Jesus, but we mustn't only fasten our eyes on what's to come, we must be a people of the NOW. God has a purpose for us in the journey. Regardless of any resistance, trial, or mistake, God is the most incredible author and illustrator of life stories. Trust Him in the journey, He's got you in the palm of His hands.

1 Peter 1:3-7 NET
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, that is, into an inheritance imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. It is reserved in heaven for you, who by God’s power are protected through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. This brings you great joy, although you may have to suffer for a short time in various trials. Such trials show the proven character of your faith, which is much more valuable than gold—gold that is tested by fire, even though it is passing away—and will bring praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed..

New Alumni Update!

The beginning of Juan and Iulia’s journey starts in 2012; They met and married in CFNI, where they also attended, graduated, and were ordained as ministers.

Juan says, “Ministry is not stationary; it requires MOVEMENT - motion in the direction you are headed. If we want to see our lives transformed, we have to embrace the path God puts before us.“

“ZC MOVEMENT,” ministry, was born in the hearts of its founders; Juan D. Zarate (Colombia), and his wife, Iulia Crihalmean (Romania).

Being in CFNI, God called Juan and Iulia to serve The Church; they were called out to disciple nations, and bring reformation and transformation to society. That’s what ZC MVMNT is all about.

After an amazing time at CFNI, God asked them to go to Colombia. They prayed, packed, and booked tickets knowing the destination, but not knowing what was waiting for them there. By the way, they were pregnant!

Their time in Colombia meant so much to them. They understood they were called to be faithful to what God guided them to do. They served and worked alongside local churches, preaching, teaching, and training the people, helping them walk in their calling and purpose. In time, God opened doors for them and used them in many cities, conferences, churches, and national ministries to advance the Kingdom of God.

They are very passionate about worship, especially Iulia, who has vast experience and an amazing gifted heart for worship. Leading people in worship is her passion, and to see Jesus glorified is her everything. They founded a small Christian training center, where believers from different churches and denominations can attend, to be trained in their faith.

They faced as many ups and downs as you can imagine, even sickness and death were present. But as always, God remained faithful to them.

After 4 years in the land of coffee, Colombia, God sent them to Romania. For the last 20 months, they have been doing the same: serving the Church. Same heart, same passion, different people. The challenge in Europe is different, harder if you may, but ZC MVMNT “is not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; because it is the power of God that brings salvation”…

Juan, Iulia, little 5-year old David, and the new member of the “tribe” (baby on the way), currently live in Brasov city, 2 hours away from Bucharest, the capital of Romania.

Born in Germany, Klaus and his family emigrated to the United States when he was a year old. By the time he was ten, the family had moved to Canada and Klaus was actively pursuing Classical studies in piano.

Klaus encountered God in a significant way at the age of 12. Through the influence of Godly parents, Klaus, his older brother, and two younger twin sisters, were raised in an environment that put God first.

After graduating high school in Canada, Klaus attended Christ For The Nations in Dallas, Texas. It was during that time that worship became the passion of his life. After graduation, Klaus married Julie and they presently reside with their three children (Candace, Aaron, and Olivia) in McKinney, Texas.

From 2003-2005 he returned to CFNI as the worship leader and recorded two projects during that time, "Glorious" and "Overtaken”. He is the founder and director of Pure Worship Ministries and travels both domestically and internationally training worship leaders and encouraging the Body of Christ.

Whether you're CFNI alumni from South Africa or Switzerland, in Canada or South America, you are invited to be apart of this alumni gathering! God is moving powerfully in our alumni, staff, and students on our Mardi Gras outreach! We love our CFNI family. It's incredible to know that God is moving in every season of our lives, from a season receiving as students, to graduating and being sent out, God is always present and always moving!

CFNI's 50th Year Alumni Reunion

October 28-31, 2020, has been set aside for CFNI's 50th Year Alumni Reunion! Lance Wallnau, John Bevere, and Jane Hamon are some of the speakers that will minister at this is a historic event. It will be exciting to come together!

The strength the Lord worked into our lives at CFNI is certainly worth honoring. The friendships forged, the prayer meetings, the ministry times, the ‘face-to-face’ with Jesus in chapel, laughing, repenting, the classes, the words from the Lord, and holy places on campus where the Lord met each of us.

Our purpose is much more than merely nostalgic or historic. Though we will have grand times of reconnecting, remembering, and ministering to the Lord, we're praying the Lord will do much more. We expect each individual who comes to receive strength, wisdom, strategy, and fresh direction as we worship the Lord!

It is our goal that the Lord is free to blow heavenly trumpets over your future. We are looking forward to seeing you here in Dallas!

Alumni Update!

"My name is Débora Luisa Armando Jó, and I'm 21 years old.

I studied at CFNI for a year and graduated in May 2018. During that time, I chose the 3rd-year program, Children and Family, because I love kids. Today I'm serving God in a ministry called Afrika Wa Yesu (Africa for Jesus) by Rodny and Ellie Hein in MOZAMBIQUE.

During my time at CFNI, God opened a door for me to do KFN and Preteen Impact, where God completely changed my life. Not only in KFN, but during both semesters being at CFNI, I was able to see and meet God. CFNI is a place of an encounter.

The teachers, the leaders, even the cleaners; everywhere I went, I could see God in every place and person. I'm so thankful for CFNI and for the leaders that listen to God and obey.

Today, I'm back in MOZAMBIQUE, and I'm applying everything that I learned here. I'm training kids teachers, going to different places, and speaking about Jesus, not only to kids but also to adults. I can see God changing kids lives! We are teaching them to love God and how they are loved by God. Also, I'm working in a pre-school as a volunteer because we have a preschool in our church to bless the community here.

The evangelism experience that I got at CFNI helped me to stand up and obey Mark 16. Today I can go and speak about Jesus without a fear.

Everything in CFNI was a miracle for me: I was on scholarship, and God paid my tickets. For me, it was impossible to go there, but I had food every day.

CFNI, thank you so much. Go forward, because what CFNI is doing is changing the world, and building people with an identity in God.
Blessings!"
