GET HIGH Highlights: *Get intoxicated on the living Word of God. *Smoke the Holy Ghost and get drunk in the Spirit. People take hard-drugs just because they want to get high(this sometimes may mean to get powerful),enjoy the pleasure and feel on-top of the world. But,most times the hard-drugs have negative effects or get the upper hand. Others take substances because they are being overwhelmed by their situation, and so they think they need to take something that'll make their problems seem small. Most believe that such substances are an antidote for their depression.Alcohol could be a temporary solution to your depression, perhaps for some hours, but when your eyes cleared you find out that the problems are still there.Cigars, cigarettes, cocaine, marijuana etc.could get you high, but leaves you in a worse state. Every mentally challenged situation is satanically rooted.Depression, suicide, oppression, schizophrenic disorder/psychosis,epilepsy....are all handiwork of satan. While prescribed drugs from a psychiatrist could hep manage the problem to an extent, they cannot permanently solve it.The bad part of that is for the patient to become addicted to the prescribed drugs and could not on his/her own handle the situation.A psychologist could be necessary at this point to teach the patient tactics to handle his/her mind. This could be helpful to some degree. But,there's just more than science to handle a mental case. A boy the other day that was being cast into fire by a demonic spirit was bought to the disciples of Jesus, and they could not cast it out. They brought the boy to Jesus and He casted the demon out.Despite that Jesus rescued the situation by expelling the demons that were involved,He needed to put a bound on the demon never to enter the child again. You see, most often when Jesus set someone free,He tells them,to go and sin no more.Sin could bring the problem back.In other words,He was actually telling them to follow Him.They need to be filled with the Holy Spirit. When you do not fill the space where a demon has left,he comes back looking for a way to get back in with more stubborn co-demons. Humanly speaking, when someone get depressed,it always appeals to take or get involved in something that'll make you feel good about yourself. But,the real solution is actually to revisit who you are and what your assignment is in life. Elijah became depressed when he was threatened to be killed by Jezebel. He lost sight of who He was and God's calling upon his life. For God to restore Him back,He didn't show up in the things powerful that could have got anyone high.He was not in the earthquake, fire and wind.He manifested in a still small voice so as to calm his agitations. God first called to him,Elijah what are you doing here?He first appealed to his person. He was like saying, hey boy, don't you know who you are anymore.Secondly,He restored him back to his prophetic calling. He asked him to anoint Elisha in his place,Jehu as king of Israel and Hazael as king of Syria. He brought him back into his assignment. It was later that He let him realised that he was not alone. He said there were 7,000 saints that have not bowed to baal. You see, loneliness always acompany depression. It makes you loose direction. And that was what God was restoring. He gave Elijah back focus, direction and that's where power is. To be fully mentally healed: 1).The person must come to know who He is in Christ Jesus or give his/her to Christ if he/she has not done so. 2).The person must get involved in God's assignment for his/her life.If he/she has lost it,should get back to the calling. 3).You need to get God as the center of focus for your life. 4).You need to know that your chief-enemy had been defeated. Christ has paid the price for every diseases, attacks and problems. It's time you walked in Christ' victory. WHAT SHOULD GET YOU HIGH *The Word of God *The Holy Ghost. HOW TO GET HIGH *Feed on God's Word.Memorize the scriptures.Meditate on the Living Word of God.Read out what God says about you.Voice out who you're in Christ Jesus.Declare the enemy' defeat at Calvary.Confess your victory in Christ. *Get filled with the Holy Ghost. The best cocaine, marijuana the Holy Spirit.Smoke the Holy Ghost, drink Him like alcohol,or rather let Him be your alcohol. WHAT SHOULD YOU DO NOW? Replace the substances you've using with God's Word and get filled with the Holy Spirit.Speak in tongues;it get you edified. As you pray in tongues, your problems are reduced to nothing.Hallelujah? Stephen Of God. BEHOLDING GOD'S BEAUTY. In Psalms27:4 David said,' gaze upon the beauty of the Lord....'There's something intriguing about God!Beauty isn't a word we normally associate with God.Yet it's the word David used on more than one occasion to speak of God's character and personality. There is perhaps no better way to enjoy God more than to see Him for who He really is.The more we meditate on the Scriptures, take to heart the breathtaking truths about God,and allow them to saturate our minds and emotions, the more we'll become fascinated by His beauty. Why do people sin? They sin because they enjoy the pleasure that it brings.Hebrews 11:25 speaks of the temporary pleasures of sin.No one sins out of duty.People sin because they believe the pleasure it brings is more satisfying than the pleasure obedience brings.Or as someone once said,"Sin is what you do when your heart is not satisfied with God."But,you see, beholding God's beauty will drive sin away from your heart and thoughts. Beholding the beauty of the Lord as in the beauty of His holiness(1Chronicles16:29) which actually refers to the beauty of who God is,is invigorating and enjoyable. It's also deeply transforming. This is what the apostle Paul was referring to in 2Corinthians 3:18:"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory".In other words,to behold Him is to be like Him.The more we meditate on the perfection and passions of God's character and personality, the more we'll become like our Father. God is holy.ln other words,God is beautiful. He's the antithesis of sin and evil. He's perfectly pure. He's unique and distinct from all others. He's a unique "Father". He's a unique "lover".And He calls us to love Him and experience Him.Becoming God's lover gives you complete access to behold His face. And having said that,l implies that sin is completely dead in your life. You're now privileged to tell of His beauty,to enjoy it and to live out His holiness. Love, Stephen.

*Scripture Treasure.*
*For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,*
2 Cor 4:17.

*Insight and Reflections.*
No matter what we go through, God is with us. There is glory ahead!

*Scripture Commentaries.*
We can be grateful, knowing that one day we will look back and marvel at all God had done for us inspite of the afflictions, trials and challenges we had faced.
We must be confident God answers prayers. Prayers of protection for all people and their families, the aged, healing of those who are ill, and comfort for those who have lost loved ones must be the preoccupation of every believer.
Travailing in prayers will work for us a far more exceeding weight of glory when we see the lost saved, sick healed and power of God made manifest both here and eternally in glory.

*Insight and Highlight.*
Though there is darkness over the land, we can trust Christ for light in our darkest hours.

Every darkness over the land shall receive light in Jesus name.

Good morning all and be blessed as we worship the King of glory.

God bless you

We are coming to your living room. Join us tomorrow live at 10am.

Prepared to be blessed. #onlineservice #youdontwanttomissthis #rccgdallascentral #churchservice

[04/04/20]   *WISDOM FOR TODAY*

*Scripture Treasure.*
*For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:* Col 1:16

*Insight and Highlight*
*"For by him......."*
*For by*.. Jesus.. *were all things created.*

*Scripture Commentaries.*
*In the begining God created.."* Gen 1:1.
*In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God*. John 1:1
*And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.* Col 1:17.
1 John 5:7 reads: *For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.*
As for the Trinity, none is God without the others, each with the others is God.

*What makes Jesus God?*
God in the flesh. John 1:14:
*And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.*
For us to be reconciled to God, the power of fleshly sin must be destroyed.
God became flesh through Jesus to dwell within us and dealt with sin in the flesh. Through this atonement, we were reconciled and became one with God through Christ.
Jesus, fully God and man. In human form(sinful flesh) yet without sin (in fulness of God)
Man took the nature of God through holiness and holy living through Christ's redemptive blood.
Once cleansed by the blood, we now live as if we had never sinned before (Justification): Romns 5:1 *Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:*
This is the peace we have: we no longer fear or live under the guilt of past transgressions. They may torment us with guilt but they must be subdued. The power to subdue and overcome is: Jesus, in God, in you!

*Word Action*
Since mankind could not go to God after the fall, God came to man through Jesus. Man took the nature of God through Christ.

John 5:19: *The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.*
Lord, let people see you in all that l do, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day.

God bless you.

[04/03/20]   *WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*Scripture Treasure.*
*Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he isstrong in power; not one faileth.* Isaiah 40:26

*Insight and Highlight.*
*He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.* Ps 147:4
If God counts the stars and call them by their names, He cannot forget His children made in His image.

*Scripture Commentaries.*
It is impossible for God to forget anything.
Whenever we read that God forgets our sins, it is an act of God refusing to be influenced by the sins we had committed. By such merciful act, He refuses to remember but chooses to forgive and forget.
Thus, instead of seeing our sins, He sees the redemptive blood, instead.
He that remembered a covenant of 430 years, is there any thing He would not remember?
God is unforgetful.
*Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, *yet will I not forget thee.* Isaiah 49:15.
Do you fear and are humble before Him?
If you are, you are in His plans and thoughts.
Shout Halleluia!!

*Word Action.*
This is the promise we have:
*Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.* Isaiah 49:16

*My prayer for you*
Isaiah 60:18: *Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.*, in Jesus name

Good morning all and have a blessed day.

God bless you.

[04/02/20]   *WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*Scripture Treasure.*
*And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.*
Col 3:15

*Insight and Highlight*
For the Church to be unstoppable, she must have peace like a river in the face of fear.

*Scripture Commentaries.*
In the storms of life, the lesson is simply that God wants to lead us but, we often than not, always want to lead God.
If we lead God rather than He leading us, our desire for breathrough will lead to breakdown.
God makes His ways known to us.
Let us follow His directions, cultivate an inner quietness and assurance that has all the abundance, freshness of a deep-flowing river.
Let not your heart be troubled.
He is sure to see us through!

*Word Action*
Troubled? The proof we are walking in His will is when Christ rules our hearts. When He does, we have His peace.

Ps 29:11: *The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.*
Lord, grant me peace all round, in Jesus name.

It is our month of *PEACE*.
John 14:27 *Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid.*

May the peace of God in Christ Jesus be with you all in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day.

God bless you.

[04/01/20]   *WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*Scripture Treasure.*
*I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia this man was born there*
*And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.*
*The Lord shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there.* Selah.* Psalm 87: 4-7

*Insight and Highlight.*
No individual will be lost in the crowd.
God will account for each and say
*"This one was born here".*
It can only be said of the one who is born again; *"..this one was born there.*

*Scripture Commentaries.*
There will come a time more effectual than it is now that a child born of God will not need to say of himself he/she is a child of God. It will be God Himself who will openly declare of him or her.
Today, people get away with "l am a child of God" and even if the most trusted of God says he/she is not, such is adjudged as being judgmental.
At the consummation of age, God will place special attention on each of us. It will be openly declared *"where you were born"*!
One of Christ's words to some will be "l knew you not", Matt 7: 23.
The psalmist, here, also tells us God will say of some: This one was born here".
The psalmist is saying something noteworthy here. It is still good of Rahab (for she was already in the genealogy of Christ, Matt 1:5) but Babylon strikes us more.
How? Babylon an enemy of God's people will be one of those whom God will say "was born here".
Yet those whom we thought were born of God may be far from the citizenship of God!
God will reckon us person for person: there will be no respect of persons.
Will your citizenship and birthright be declared and recorded by God?
Are you going to be welcome to *Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven*? (ref
Hebrews 12:22-23).
Will God say you were born here? or where will God say you were born?

*Word Action.*
Remember, it will no longer be your testimony of who you are, or the exploits you did, it will all be about what God would say about you!.

John 1:13: *Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God*
Lord, please do not leave me out. Let me walk in your will. Lord, declare I am born of you, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day.

God bless you.

*Scripture Treasure.*
*And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.* Isaiah 40:16.

*Insight and Highlight.*
*What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?* Psalm 116:12.
We cannot quantify what we can give to appease God but we can qualitatively give to Him.

*Scripture Commentaries.*
Giving to God is measured both in quantity and quality.
Quantity and quality of sacrifice do assail to God, ref Solomon's one thousand burnt offering 1 Kgs 3:4.
However, the quality of what we give also evaluates God's acceptability of the measure of what we give, ref the poor widow Luke 21:1-4

Often times, children of men believe they have all it requires to please God in offering and sacrifices.
Our thoughts are made worse when we believe our volume of sacrifices would be greatest and are enough to put God under no obligation than to do our wishes.
In bible days, Lebanon is considered a chosen forest that supplies more than enough supply of wood for burnt sacrifice and cedar for building:
*"....the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon, ... the tall cedar trees thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof:.... will enter into the lodgings of his borders, and into the forest of his Carmel.* 2 Kg 19: 23.
God spoke through His prophets that there is a place in Lebanon rich in all that is required for burnt offerings.
Yet, if the forest and innumerable animals were set on fire, it would still not be enough for an acceptable burnt offering before Him.
God spoke here for mankind to know He is insuppressible yet responsive.
We should be like the psalmist asking: "what shall l render to God for all His benefits?
The prophet Micah asks:
Micah 6:6: *With what shall I come before the LORD when I bow before the God on high? Should I come to Him with burnt offerings, with year-old calves?*

*Word Action*
God does accept offerings, vows, pledges and sacrifices but it must be done with the heart that God is not hungry.

Lord, let my offerings and sacrifices be acceptable to you, in Jesus name.
God bless you.

[03/30/20]   *WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*Scripture Treasure.*
*All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.* Isaiah 40:17

*Insight and Highlight.*
No one can match God in any sense or capacity.
*To whom will you liken God? To what image will you compare Him?…Isaiah 40:18.*

*Scripture Commentaries*
The only of all God's creation that has proved to try to match God's power is mankind, but he has always failed.
The scripture says of man: in Job 25:6
*How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?*
Ps 62:9 says *" they are altogether lighter than vanity."*
Man has an end but God has no end. Man dies fighting, never to fight again but God lives fighting, ever to fight again.
Man dies in battles, God survives battles and lives ever after.

The bible refers to those who trust the Lord as Mount Zion, Ps 125:1
If no one can battle and overcome God, it is wise to say they that battle against any child of God are destined to fail!
Isaiah 29:8: *as when a hungry man dreams he is eating, then awakens still hungry; as when a thirsty man dreams he is drinking, then awakens faint and parched. So will it be for all the many nations who go to battle against Mount Zion.…*

*Word Action*
They who are set against you will have to conquer God first, but there has not been one of such!
No one can battle and triumph over God, not even against His chosen.
Remain under His covering!

Isaiah 29:7 ; *All the many nations to battle against Ariel even all who war against her, laying siege and attacking her—will be like a dream, like a vision in the night,*
Lord, let those who are in battle with me *" away like a dream, never to be found;* *Let them"* chased away like a vision in the night., Job 20:8, in Jesus name.

God bless you.

*Scripture Treasure*
*Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.*
*Thou preparedst room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.* Ps 80:8-9

*Insight and Highlight.*
*I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.* John 15:1

*Scripture Commentaries.*
There is a principle of God which is: roots have to be established downwards before fruit can be borne upward.
The life of a tree is in the roots, the life of the root is in the vine from which it springs from.
There is no life for any root of any tree outside a true and fertile vine.
In this age of short cuts and quick fixes, people forget that the life of a tree is from the roots. The roots must be established downwards, this will ensure the fruit bears upwards.
Today, the fruit forget the roots, the roots forget the vine.
People, foxes and other animals destroy vines, ref SoS 2:15.
However there is a True Vine in Jesus, indestructible yet often neglected or abused.
God is looking for a remnant who will resist the power of evil. These remnants escape the snare of the fowler.
They are remnants who wage righteous war, bear fruit, stand by God, spared of the wrath to come. These are they who are God's confessing and professing people who
*"....shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward* 2 Kgs 19:30.

*Word Action*
Israel was the vine brought out of Egypt. He was planted. He took deep root and filled the whole earth.
The enemy could not totally eliminate him. His soul escaped as a bird out of the fowler's snare!

*My prayer for you*
*And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.* 2 Kgs 19:30.
Lord, make me strong to resist and escape the devil's snare. Let me stay strong, take root downward and bear fruit upward, in Jesus name.

Good morning all.
The Church will be open for streaming the service live.
Please join us on Facebook and Instagram.
God bless you as you remain in His presence.

*Scripture Treasure.*
*Wherefore Nathan spake unto Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, saying, Hast thou not heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith doth reign, and David our lord knoweth it not?*
*Now therefore come, let me, I pray thee, give thee counsel, that thou mayest save thine own life, and the life of thy son Solomon.*
*Go and get thee in unto king David, and say unto him, Didst not thou, my lord, O king, swear unto thine handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne? why then doth Adonijah reign?*
*Behold, while thou yet talkest there with the king, I also will come in after thee, and confirm thy words.* 1 Kgs 1:11-14.

*Insight and Highlight.*
Custodians of destinies are privy to information about a plan of succession. They are first trustees and trusted with such information. Their faithfulness will ensure destinies are fulfilled.

*Scripture Commentaries.*
People like Prophet Nathan are not only destiny helpers, they are custodians of destinies.
Custodians of destinies are people whom you can trust would fulfil your plans of, for example, succession.
They are an inspiration to destiny helpers. They are a source of help to those who are destiny helpers.
They can also play both roles, as custodians and helpers of destinies.
However, a distinction may be helpful between a custodian and an helper of destiny.
An helper of destiny may at times need a word of recommendation to help you. It is only those who are in tune with Heaven who will recommend that the helper helps you. These are your destiny custodian. They have a revelation of what God wants for you. They have been ordained to facilitate your helpers!
In our passage of today, we see Nathan, the national prophet, who was privy to God's word concerning Solomon and he knew the pronouncement of David concerning Solomon, 2 Sam 7.
He remembered and followed the pronounced declaration laid down and ensured the su
ccession plan is fulfilled.
He was faithfully committed to ensuring the plan of God for Solomon came to pass and he helped fulfilled it.
1 Kgs 1:46 *And also Solomon sitteth on the throne of the kingdom.*

*Word Action.*
Custodians and helpers of destinies will not be found absent in your life.

Lord, cause custodians and helpers of my destinies to remember me.
Cast away every spirit of destiny snatcher and rebellion, the spirits of Adonijah and Absalom away from me, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day.

God bless you.
