The Redeemed Christian Church of God- Dallas Central Parish

I will be coming into U. S on 12th. Pls I need ur help. I am a children pastor.

*Get intoxicated on the living Word of God.
*Smoke the Holy Ghost and get drunk in the Spirit.

People take hard-drugs just because they want to get high(this sometimes may mean to get powerful),enjoy the pleasure and feel on-top of the world. But,most times the hard-drugs have negative effects or get the upper hand.
Others take substances because they are being overwhelmed by their situation, and so they think they need to take something that'll make their problems seem small.
Most believe that such substances are an antidote for their depression.Alcohol could be a temporary solution to your depression, perhaps for some hours, but when your eyes cleared you find out that the problems are still there.Cigars, cigarettes, cocaine, marijuana etc.could get you high, but leaves you in a worse state.

Every mentally challenged situation is satanically rooted.Depression, suicide, oppression, schizophrenic disorder/psychosis,epilepsy....are all handiwork of satan. While prescribed drugs from a psychiatrist could hep manage the problem to an extent, they cannot permanently solve it.The bad part of that is for the patient to become addicted to the prescribed drugs and could not on his/her own handle the situation.A psychologist could be necessary at this point to teach the patient tactics to handle his/her mind. This could be helpful to some degree. But,there's just more than science to handle a mental case.
A boy the other day that was being cast into fire by a demonic spirit was bought to the disciples of Jesus, and they could not cast it out. They brought the boy to Jesus and He casted the demon out.Despite that Jesus rescued the situation by expelling the demons that were involved,He needed to put a bound on the demon never to enter the child again. You see, most often when Jesus set someone free,He tells them,to go and sin no more.Sin could bring the problem back.In other words,He was actually telling them to follow Him.They need to be filled with the Holy Spirit. When you do not fill the space where a demon has left,he comes back looking for a way to get back in with more stubborn co-demons.

Humanly speaking, when someone get depressed,it always appeals to take or get involved in something that'll make you feel good about yourself. But,the real solution is actually to revisit who you are and what your assignment is in life.
Elijah became depressed when he was threatened to be killed by Jezebel. He lost sight of who He was and God's calling upon his life. For God to restore Him back,He didn't show up in the things powerful that could have got anyone high.He was not in the earthquake, fire and wind.He manifested in a still small voice so as to calm his agitations.
God first called to him,Elijah what are you doing here?He first appealed to his person. He was like saying, hey boy, don't you know who you are anymore.Secondly,He restored him back to his prophetic calling. He asked him to anoint Elisha in his place,Jehu as king of Israel and Hazael as king of Syria. He brought him back into his assignment. It was later that He let him realised that he was not alone. He said there were 7,000 saints that have not bowed to baal. You see, loneliness always acompany depression. It makes you loose direction. And that was what God was restoring. He gave Elijah back focus, direction and that's where power is.

To be fully mentally healed:
1).The person must come to know who He is in Christ Jesus or give his/her to Christ if he/she has not done so.
2).The person must get involved in God's assignment for his/her life.If he/she has lost it,should get back to the calling.
3).You need to get God as the center of focus for your life.
4).You need to know that your chief-enemy had been defeated.
Christ has paid the price for every diseases, attacks and problems. It's time you walked in Christ' victory.

*The Word of God
*The Holy Ghost.

*Feed on God's Word.Memorize the scriptures.Meditate on the Living Word of God.Read out what God says about you.Voice out who you're in Christ Jesus.Declare the enemy' defeat at Calvary.Confess your victory in Christ.
*Get filled with the Holy Ghost. The best cocaine, marijuana the Holy Spirit.Smoke the Holy Ghost, drink Him like alcohol,or rather let Him be your alcohol.

Replace the substances you've using with God's Word and get filled with the Holy Spirit.Speak in tongues;it get you edified.
As you pray in tongues, your problems are reduced to nothing.Hallelujah?

Stephen Of God.

Bible Reference:

In Psalms27:4 David said,' gaze upon the beauty of the Lord....'There's something intriguing about God!Beauty isn't a word we normally associate with God.Yet it's the word David used on more than one occasion to speak of God's character and personality. There is perhaps no better way to enjoy God more than to see Him for who He really is.The more we meditate on the Scriptures, take to heart the breathtaking truths about God,and allow them to saturate our minds and emotions, the more we'll become fascinated by His beauty.

Why do people sin? They sin because they enjoy the pleasure that it brings.Hebrews 11:25 speaks of the temporary pleasures of sin.No one sins out of duty.People sin because they believe the pleasure it brings is more satisfying than the pleasure obedience brings.Or as someone once said,"Sin is what you do when your heart is not satisfied with God."But,you see, beholding God's beauty will drive sin away from your heart and thoughts.
Beholding the beauty of the Lord as in the beauty of His holiness(1Chronicles16:29) which actually refers to the beauty of who God is,is invigorating and enjoyable. It's also deeply transforming. This is what the apostle Paul was referring to in 2Corinthians 3:18:"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory".In other words,to behold Him is to be like Him.The more we meditate on the perfection and passions of God's character and personality, the more we'll become like our Father.

God is holy.ln other words,God is beautiful. He's the antithesis of sin and evil. He's perfectly pure. He's unique and distinct from all others. He's a unique "Father". He's a unique "lover".And He calls us to love Him and experience Him.Becoming God's lover gives you complete access to behold His face. And having said that,l implies that sin is completely dead in your life. You're now privileged to tell of His beauty,to enjoy it and to live out His holiness.

*Scripture Treasure.*
Numb 12:1-2–►🔹 *And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.*🔹
2 *And they said, Hath the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the Lord heard it.*🔹

*Insight and Highlight.*
Numb 12:8-10–►🔹 *....wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?*🔹
9 🔹 *And the anger of the Lord was kindled against them; and he departed.*🔹
10🔹 *And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.*🔹

*Scripture Commentaries.*
One would wonder why Mariam's name appeared before Aaron.
The explanation may be that she was the leader in this insurrection against Moses, no wonder the judgment fell upon her, not on Aaron. Aaron, however was a disaster about to happen.
Subsequent insurrection followed at the scene of the golden calf where he was persuaded to raise a golden calf, Exd 36:1-7.
Here, however, Aaron will dearly pay for bringing the people into idolatory.
Job 4:8 says: 🔹 *Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.*🔹
Duress influence: a wrongful pressure exerted on someone to do what he did not want to do, or undue influence: taking undue advantage by manipulating a vulnerable person are inexcusable before God.
Both prominent persons to any rebellion and those who yielded are punishable under God's judgment.
Aaron's priestly garment was removed and he died on Mount Hur, Numb 20:26-28.
Three thousand people died, Exd 32:28, except for the sons of Levi who did not participate, Exd 32:26
Who will not fear the LORD?

*Remorse corner.*
With God, it is perhaps true that the offence especially condemned by Him, is joining with a majority in an unrighteous way

*Call to Word action.*
If we are to please God in His ways, we must be prepared to face unpopularity.
Exodus 23:2–►🔹 *Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:*🔹

*The Christian clarion duty.*
God forbids our being carried away by numbers or popularity in any case.
Job boasts that he did not fear a great multitude Job 31:34 –►🔹 *Did I fear a great multitude, or did the contempt of families terrify me, that I kept silence, and went not out of the door?*🔹

Help me to fear You enough to avoid joining the multitude to do evil against You, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day.

God bless you.

*Scripture Treasure.*
Job 38:8 –►🔹 *Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?*🔹

*Insight and Highlight.*
It is a wonder how the sea, with such raging power can be restrained by sand placed at the bound of the sea to confine it from passing beyond.

*Scripture Commentaries.*
The scriptures describe the power of the sea when it rages uncontrollably and often overflows its banks, as if a baby is pushed orgushed out, out of the womb.
Such is the power of categiories of hurricanes behind sea surges.
By Divine decree, God blocked the sea "with doors: "bounds that it cannot pass, neither turn, ref Gen 1:9.
The power to control and confine the sea was also evident at the Red Sea, Exd 20:10.
In all cases the restraints were enough to stop the power of the raging sea.
Jer 5:22 says: 🔹 *Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?*🔹
Water in the form of flood, still remains one of the deadliest form of destruction, Exd 14: 28, 15:10, Gen 9:13, but by a decree, God promised He will not destroy the earth with flood giving us the rainbow as a sign of His covenant
Psalm 104:9 –►🔹 *Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.*🔹
Who will not fear the LORD? Habakkuk 2:20 –►🔹 *But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.*🔹
Proverbs 19:23 –►🔹 *The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.*🔹
Let us live and serve in fear of His awe.

*Remorse corner.*
God by a decree brought life through wonders of creation and by a word brought desolation.
Psalm 46:8 –►🔹 *Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.*🔹

*Call to Word action*
Proverbs 8:29 –►🔹 *When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:*🔹

*The Christian clarion duty.*
The sand which seems so shifting and capable of being eroded by the sea waters, keeps in the surging waters at bay and under restrictions.

Isaiah 11:2 –►🔹 *And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;*🔹
Lord, give me the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and be blessed as you come into His presence.

God bless you.

*Scripture Treasure.*
Luke 11:1-2–►🔹 *And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.*🔹
*And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.*🔹

*Insight and Highlight.*
The Lord's prayer, though appear simple and short, expresses all that we should seek to ask: the Kingdom of God and its righteousness.

*Scripture Commentaries.*
Jesus was praying. His disciples either heard Him or saw Him as He prayed.
All they saw needful was that they wished they will have the same Spirit as He had and that they could pray as He prayed.
So, they asked that they be taught how to pray.
Jesus gave them a reproduction of the Sermon on the Mount in Matt 6:9-11 but with slight variation.
The Lord's Prayer is God's "template" of the foundation upon which Kingdom minders ought to build their petitions.
It must have been that the Spirit in which Jesus prayed, was one which the disciples wished they could enter into.
Though one may wonder why they would be asking Jesus how they could pray given that the same prayer had earlier been taught on the Mount.
It is however important to note about prayer that: though we may know the pattern of prayer, have prayer points, prepare ourselves in fasting but entering into the same Spirit as Jesus to render prayers that will avail to God is important for believers to adopt.
About this same Spirit that was seen in Jesus that prompted the disciples to ask this question, the Father says in Rom 8:36 that, when we do not know what we ought to pray, the Spirit makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
The Spirit also helps our infirmities, weaknesses because we often give up praying asking ourselves if we truly know how to pray and if we do, why are we not receiving answers from God.

*Remorse corner.*
So the question, teach us how to pray finds its answers in Matt 6:9-11, Luke 11:1-2 and Rom 8:36.

*Call to Word action.*
If we wish to pray as Jesus prayed, we must be prepared to live as He lived.
Philippians 2:52–►🔹 *Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:*🔹

*The Christian clarion duty.*
When asked to pray, first enter and seek after the Kingdom's fulness.
Matt 6:33–►🔹 *But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.*🔹

Lord, help me as l pray. Help me that l do not pray in vain, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day.

God bless you.

[07/16/21]   *WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*Scripture Treasure.*
Mark 12:31–►🔹 *And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.*🔹

*Insight and Highlight.*
We can save hurting others by loving others as we love ourselves.

*Scripture Commentaries.*
Love starts with you and you can choose to obey God's word by loving others as yourself, Mark 12:31.
Whatever you will not do to yourself, do not do to others, Matt 7:12–►🔹 *Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them:..*"🔹
Scriptures admonishes *".... husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies....."*
Ephesians 5:28-29–►🔹 *For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:*

*Remorse corner.*
Love others because you love yourself, ref Mark 12:31, Eph 5:29,

*Call to Word action.*
1 John 4:16–►🔹 *And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.”*🔹

*The Christian clarion duty.*
We can choose to stop hurting others and ourselves!

Lord help me to love selflessly, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day.

God bless you.

[07/15/21]   *WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*Scripture Treasure.*
1 Peter 4:8 –►🔹 *Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.*🔹

*Insight and Highlight.*
Romans 12:9–►🔹 *Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.*🔹

*Scripture Commentaries.*
God's love gives back, Prov 8:17 –►🔹 *I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.*🔹
Jesus says in John 3:18 –►🔹 *He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already,..."*🔹
There is no where Christ preached love without paying back love for love, Heb 13:1
–►🔹 *Let brotherly love continue*🔹
He preached against evil in return for love and evil as retaliation for evil, and admonished to overcome evil with good, Prov 17:13, Rom 12:17-21, 1 Pet 3:9.
Christ also preached we not be offended when love is not paid back with love. He further preached we love those who hate us
Matt 5:44-45–►🔹 *But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;*
*That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven...*🔹
Are you hurting? Keep loving, God is on your side!

*Remorse corner.*
Since we get offended when evil is returned for the good we did, He admonished we leave judgment to Him, Rom 12:9–►🔹 *"... judgment is mine..."*🔹

*Call to Word action.*
Romans 12:10–►🔹 *Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;*🔹

*The Christian clarion duty*
Let the love of God be, with all your heart.

Lord, help me to love without hypocrisy, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you

[07/14/21]   *WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*Scripture Treasure.*
2 Corinthians 12:15–►🔹 *And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.*🔹

*Insight and Highlight.*
Most times we feel like loving but are afraid if we will be loved in return. This and past diaspointments must not discourage us to love.

*Scripture Commentaries.*
We know who we love but we do not know those who truly love us.
Often times we are hated for the love we give. Wicked people are often loved and envied over people who show love, ref Ps 73:3-17.
Apostle Peter encourages us saying:
1 Peter 2:20 –►🔹 *For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.*🔹
Remember also Christ was hated for the love He gave, John 15:18.
Christ was even hated for what He was not, Matt 12:24.
So we hurt when people hate us inspite of the love we show them, but how much hurtful it is to be hated for what we are not?
This is the world we live in!
Therefore the love of God must be shed abroad in our hearts, that is overflow our hearts, by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us, Rom 5:5.
It was out of this abundance, yet found in His one and only begotten Son, that God gave His love.
Apostle Peter in 2 Pet 1:3 says –►🔹 *According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness..."*🔹
So, if according to His Divine power, God has given us all things, then the ability and power to love is all inclusive. This means it is within our power to love because we have been empowered to love.
Therefore, if we fail to love, it is not because we do not have the power to love but because we chose not to love.

*Remorse corner.*
Choose to love and save others from hurting.

*Call to Word action.*
Rom 5:8–►🔹 *But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.*🔹

*The Christian clarion duty.*
Christ loved us when we are not lovable. His love qualified us and made us loved.
Let someone feel loved.

Lord, help me to choose to love. Let no offenses come from me, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day.

God bless you.

*Scripture Treasure.*
2 Cor 11:11–►🔹 *Wherefore? because I love you not? God knoweth.*

*Insight and Highlight.*
In any given situation, we can choose to love, regardless of how we feel.

*Scripture Commentaries.*
The best way to deal with hurts is to choose to love.
If you choose to love regardless of how you feel about someone, you will overcome them and their hurts.
We read the scriptures regularly about love, 1 Cor 13, but it has not changed us any more than it would improve our characters because of the choices we make.
We must read, study and meditate the scriptures and more importantly pray for understanding that finds expression in our characters.
Knowledge of the scriptures does little, if we make wrong choices.
Paul says in 2 Cor 3:3, we are the Epistles of Christ, not only as written in our hearts, but as seen and known by others.
True love is God's love and God's love is perfect love, 1 John 4:17.
Let us take people as ourselves.
Rom 12:10–►🔹 *Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.*🔹

*Remorse corner.*
When you imprison love, you enslave yourself.

*Call to Word action.*
If we truly feel for the people we hurt, we will hate to hurt them.
Phip 2:3 –►🔹 *Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.*🔹

*The Christian clarion duty.*
We may not be able to get enough of love but we can give enough of it, Matt 18:21-22

Lord, make me perfect in love, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day.

God bless you.

[07/12/21]   *WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*Scripture Treasure.*
Prov 25:13–►🔹 *As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to them that send him: for he refresheth the soul of his masters.*

*Insight and Highlight.*
Snow and cold compared to hot summer when employed does cool and is good preservative for perishable food and cool drinks. So is a faithful messenger who refreshes the soul of the one who sends him and the one he is sent.

*Scripture Commentaries.*
There is a famous quote which says the greatest ambitious person is his ambition.
There is also a saying of old which goes "when you send a messenger a message that is abusively disparaging in manner, a good messenger will deliver in a manner worthy of love yet uncompromised to the one he delivers to.
The Scripture says a faithful messenger brings healing and one who is wicked will fall into trouble, Proverbs 13:17–►🔹 *A wicked messenger falls into trouble, but a faithful envoy brings healing.*🔹
The bible teaches good delivery of messages.
Some messengers or information disseminating officials need to work on divulging information. The delivery is mostly very poor and wrath provoking. Some even deliver worse than they were sent.
An ambassador is a messenger of his country to the nations he is deployed.
We must not downplay the office of a messenger neither should we resign it to
menial interpretation. An ambassador's handling of message delivery can build a nation or cause wars between nations. His words can bring shame or honor.
Scripture admonishes every messenger to work on messages so as not to disappoint the one who sent him. Prov 10:26–►🔹
*As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.*🔹

God admonishes messengers to be good enough to show those who are sending them they are reliable messengers, Proverbs 22:21–►🔹 *to show you true and reliable words, that you may soundly answer those who sent you?*
So also it says every messenger should make happy or refreshes the soul that sent him, Prov 25:13–►🔹 *As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to them that send him: for he refresheth the soul of his masters.*►🔹
Be a trusted messenger and envoy.

*Remorse corner.*
A messenger who wilfully delivers a wrathful message to the one he is sent, instead of pacifying the angry tone of the one who sent him will himself fall into mischief.
Proverbs 13:17–►🔹 *A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.*🔹

*Word action*.
Choose carefully who you send as your voice or who you hold out as a messenger.
Proverbs 26:6–►🔹 *He that sendeth a message by the hand of a fool cutteth off the feet, and drinketh damage.*🔹
Proverbs 26:1–►🔹 *Like snow in summer or rain in harvest, honor is not fitting for a fool*🔹

Lord make me a worthy ambassador of Christ, not to condemn but walk in the ministry of reconciliation, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
