Texas Old Missions & Forts Restoration Association

TOMFRA is a statewide organization of historians and early architecture enthusiasts joined in our interest in preserving the mission and fort heritage of Texas.

TOMFRA publishes the periodical "El Campanario" to inform and connect our members and concerned institutions on issues related to preservation and research involving Texas Historical Sites.

The speaker for our 2021 Winter Meeting is Justice Ken Wise, 14th Court of Appeals, Houston, Texas.

[10/13/20]   CONGRATULATIONS: The TOMFRA Book Award Committee has awarded to James Pratt's book "Sabotaged: Dreams of Utopia in Texas" to receive the 2020 Book Award. The Award consists of a certificate and check for $500. Unfortunately, the Book Presentation will not be made publicly due to the Covid 19 virus.

Texas A&M College of Architecture Scholarship Awards were awarded on Saturday, April 22 at Pebble Creek Country Club in College Station, Tx During the Center for Heritage Conservation's presentations, the TOMFRA two Raiford Stripling Memorial Scholarships for Advancement of Preservation in the amount of $1,500 each were awarded to Sydney Farris and Andrew Billingsley.
