Following Jesus Together. Sundays at 9:30am & 11:00am.

No matter where you are in life - seeking answers, looking to get plugged in, or ready to serve the community - we hope that you'll find a place to connect with Jesus and other people at Valley View. If you would like more information or have any questions, feel free to e-mail [email protected].

Mission: Valley View Christian Church is a non-denominational fellowship that exists to be visible in a diverse culture; to capture every heart by sharing the love, grace, and hope of Jesus; to care for one another; and to glorify God by serving our local community and world.

Various Christian writers have spoken and written about what is often called, “The dark night of the soul.” This is a period of time where you may feel completely disconnected from God - and not necessarily because of sin, but just general disconnection. The things that once caused you to be closer to God have grown stale and you just don’t “feel” like God is there.

The remedy? Stay the course.
God is at work... even when we don’t see it.

[02/12/20]   Have you experienced a time when you chose to keep going through a tough situation, and got an opportunity to experience the extravagant love and faithfulness of God?

Tell someone that story this week. Let your story give glory to God's faithfulness.

God has good work for us to do, and he WILL bring a harvest if we do not give up! Keep going, keep praying, keep loving.

[02/10/20]   Need help making a decision on which way to go next? Here are some ways that might be helpful in determining where God is leading you:

• Does it line up with Scripture? (If the path you take involves things that are sinful according to God’s Word, you need to rethink that path. God won’t lead you down a path to intentionally cause you to sin.)
• What are other godly people saying about this in my life? Do those who know me best, and who are wise and godly see this as a good step for me?
• Am I gifted in this area? Is there a need down this path that I might be uniquely gifted to help with?
• Have I prayed about it? Pray, pray pray... then move. Pray even as you begin walking down a path.

TOMORROW MORNING: Bake Sale fundraiser to help send students to Summer Camp 2020!

Come ready to pick up some tasty treats and make a difference for our students!

What's the "one thing" you are going to start this week? Small things matter... and God loves to see us start!

Bible Study Groups at Connect start their studies tomorrow night! You can still sign up to join online at

An invitation to follow Jesus starts with the simple phrase: "Come and see."

When your live is actively being changed by God, His work in you becomes the story that will bring others closer to knowing Him! Find where Jesus is changing you, learn to tell that story, and start to say to others, "come and see!"

[01/24/20]   Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence. (Ephesians 3:12)

As we follow Jesus together, our vision is to see every follower learn how to lead others to follow Jesus.

This week, start small: find a way to bring your faith up in conversation in a place where you had never spoken up about Jesus before. Pray and ask God where he wants you to start.

Join us for the start of Wednesday Night Connect!
We're kicking off tomorrow night with a BBQ dinner at 6pm, and then a Night of Worship at 7pm. Register for a Bible Study or for the $5 dinner at See you soon!

The love of Jesus should transform our inner lives, change our thoughts and our behavior towards all other people. If we believe that Jesus loves and created us intentionally to follow Him and show His goodness and glory to the world, we must believe that is also true of our neighbors! Every person you see today is loved by God, and should be loved by you.

See people with the love of God today.

“All I am is yours.”

This song is an incredible reminder that we live in the power of the resurrection of Christ every day! We have been set free by a King who conquered death on our behalf. Remember your freedom comes from Christ, and it's HIS strength that can carry you today, church!

[01/15/20]   What would it take for you to Live Free?

You don't have to answer out loud, but take some time to think through an answer to this question this week. It was for freedom that Christ set you free! What would it take for you to say "yes" to the freedom he offers this week?

This is the year to come and learn from Jesus.

You CAN Live Free financially! Sign up for FPU here:

[01/08/20]   Have you gone through Financial Peace University? If you have, leave a comment to let us know what it did for you! A new FPU course is starting on February 5 at Valley View... there's still time to sign up at

Love can start small... it will add up pretty quickly.

Take a moment today to Love Dallas! Even if it's small, it matters.

Love is Powerful

This is why we Love Dallas... because Love can bring people to Jesus.

Merry Christmas, church family! Hope you are having a wonderful day celebrating the good gift of Jesus, His presence, and His grace. #25DaysOfGratitudeAndGenerosity

Merry Christmas, church family! Praying God's blessings over your day and the rest of 2019.

Pick one of these four options to act on generosity this week, Christmas week! #25DaysOfGratitudeAndGenerosity

Jesus was born to die SO THAT when we die, we can be reborn.
Christmas has meaning because of the cross!

The power of Jesus at Christmas

We might think that we are "above" certain people or certain actions... but King Jesus came to earth, "loved low" and served the least of these. If He is able to love anyone, certainly we can too.

What's your favorite tradition to do with friends or family over the holidays?

Join us for a Christmas Eve service for the whole family!

Happy Sunday! Take a moment this week to meet the gratitude challenge on day 15. Don't just say thank you, write it down! #25DaysOfGratitudeAndGenerosity

[12/13/19]   This is your reminder... did you take time for the #25DaysOfGratitudeAndGenerosity action step we gave you this week? Look back at Day 8 (this past Sunday) and decide to act on generosity for the rest of this week.

David said in Psalm 27:13, "Yet I am confident I will see the LORD’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living."

He already knew what we are finding to be true today... the Gospel doesn't only mean you can escape eternal judgement. The Gospel means you have been freely given the freedom you need in your life TODAY. Jesus is here to save you... right now.

Walk with Him! Receive His gift.
