Soul Winners for Christ Outreach Programs
Soul Winners for Christ Outreach of Deliverance church is a 501c3 non-profit religious organization that serves in the southwestern part of Dallas, Texas called “Oak Cliff”. Since our inception of 2006, we’ve implemented several outreach programs to be a part of help and change in the community.
We rolled out an outreach program in 2014 called “Sock-It-To-Me School Supplies Giveaway” were we distribute school supplies, uniforms, back packs and socks to the school children as well as socks to their parents. This event is held annually in August a week before the children begin school. This year we were able to assist 254 boys and girls in the community with the help of 25 volunteers.
In July of 2015, the organization decide we need to be of service not only to our school children but also infants and adults. So we expanded our outreach with the Soul Winners for Christ Clothes Pantry, were our motto is “It’s a blessing to be a blessing”. We provide gently used clothes, shoes, accessories, bags of toiletry, blankets, baby strollers, car seats and sometimes small kids furniture to those who are in need from infants to men big & tall. This giveaway is held every 1st Saturday of each month with the exception to January. During our school supply giveaway in August 2018, we assisted 327 children with clothing from our Clothes Pantry.
