Your church can make an impact in 5 ways using River Ministry Kits. We have new flyers for our Kits that we can mail or email to your church. Just email [email protected] and ask for more info on the kits you saw on social media.

We all need reminders on how to share the Gospel more effectively. Here are five tips on how to share your faith in 2020: https://buff.ly/2GnYjI9
1) Celebrate the privilege
2) Learn an evangelism tool and use it.
3) Pray for your sphere of influence
4) Recognize that lost people do not know how to be saved
5) Teach someone else how to share the Gospel

“Texas Baptists believe every person is created in the image of God and, therefore, deserves our respect and honor from conception.” Read more about the Christian Life Commission (CLC) and how they advocate for important issues.

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

Ministry Assistant, Gloria, shares, “Journaling has helped keep track of my sermon notes & Bible reading. If a verse sticks out to me I use SOAP to dig into it & write more about why God pointed it out. I also draw out my worship to God in my journal.” #discipleship #journaling

Paul Atkinson, Director, uses the "Bible Is" app to listen to God's Word as he drives. He says, “it's in more than 1,000 languages, so you can share with anyone in the world what you are reading in their heart language. It’s also tied to the Jesus Video. Cool tool.” #discipleship

“Agape does not begin by discriminating between worthy and unworthy people, or any qualities people possess. It begins by loving others for their sakes.” - Dr Martin Luther King, Jr

To memorize scripture for the long term you need two things: a why and a partner. The “why” can even be different for different verses. We memorize some to give away, and others to transform our lives, and others for... and on it goes. The “partner” is for accountability and consistency. Enlist an accountability partner even if you can’t convince them to take the journey with you. After a while you’ll probably win them over anyway.

There are only 31,102 verses in the Bible, so “why” not get started now?
- Robert Hooker, Texas BSM

Ministry Assistant, Terry, uses the “Dwell App” to listen through the Bible during the year. She says, “It has Bible Plans & you can listen to it with music & different voices reading it. I use it as I’m driving. It definitely helps with controlling my driving attitude.”

When Megan Smallwood joined the Singing Women of Texas (SWOT) in 1994, she had no idea she would be one of its directors 25 years later. Our church’s gifts through the Cooperative Program allow the Singing Women of Texas to continue ministering to each other and their communities. Join me in praying today for Singing Women of Texas and the audiences who join them in worship.

Church planting & replanting is no easy endeavor. It takes prayer, the Lord’s guidance & a network of support, such as TXB Urban Missions, a ministry that assists pastors in replanting churches, such as Southside City Church where Darrell Auvenshine saw a need for God’s people to offer hope & the love of Christ to alienated individuals of that community — people with HIV/AIDS. Read more here about how your CP giving helps plant churches reaching communities: https://buff.ly/2MDfxVN
