"A Church of Christ in the Heart of Dallas with Dallas at Heart"

Join us!

Welcome to our new Brother in Christ Bro Shan Abron!

Today as we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, let us remember that the work he started continues today.

“Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God’s children”

NOW!

Velt Nation was in the house this afternoon!

The Cedar Crest Church of Christ is a proud supporter of Dallas' Roosevelt High School and humble hosts of today's public meeting on the progress of the massive renovation project taking place there. The full house was comprised of several Cedar Crest church members, DISD administrators, renovation project coordinators/supervisors/managers, DISD trustees, PTSA leaders, community organizers, RHS coaches/staff and other church leaders. Big thanks to Ms. Toni Johnson, the RHS Alumni President, for her dedication and leadership.

We are excited about the future of our school and the Cedar Crest community!

To the members of Cedar Crest....

The Cedar Crest family thanks our veterans for their service to our great country!

Three young ladies put on Christ in baptism this morning. Glory to God for their sincere response to the gospel message.

[10/06/19]   Closing thought....

When we refuse to forgive, we allow the sin that was committed against us to hurt us twice.

[10/06/19]   True Forgiveness.....

1. Refuses to get even
2. Does not keep a record of wrong
3. Battles the bitterness
4. Trusts God!

[10/06/19]   “Don’t let what others have done to you overcome what God has done for you”

- Jonathan Morrison

[10/06/19]   “He who can not forgive others destroys the bridge over which he himself must pass”

The Cedar Crest church family welcomes our brother Tyrence Steed to the Body of Christ.
