[07/16/18]   Dear Father God,

This is the day that You have made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 118:24

May I see all the good that You accomplish around me all day long.

I do not want to focus on anything negative, but on what is good and pure.

Please help me to focus on all of Your blessings today, my Lord.

I pray that today, all that I think, do, and say will be positive and pleasing to You.

Let me encourage others today.

Let me glorify You and be in Your will at all times.

Thank You for the power that You give to me through Your Holy Spirit, so that I might live as You desire.

In Jesus' name I pray,

Amen and thank You Lord.

[06/27/18]   Lord, You have promised that if we will commit our work to You, You will make it succeed. So today, I dedicate every aspect of that work to You. I need Your wisdom daily to make the right choices, ones that require fairness, integrity, and a servant spirit. From the start of every work day, I want to begin and end with You, knowing that You will guide every step and every decision I make. Throughout the day, remind me that You are in charge, not me. I the name of Jesus I pray and I thank You Lord, Amen

I pray for Your miracles and mercies to come to them.

I pray that all who are weary will cry out to You and trust You.

[05/23/18]   The Sovereign Lord has given me
a well-instructed tongue,
to know the word that sustains the weary.
He wakens me morning by morning,
wakens my ear to listen
like one being instructed.
The Sovereign Lord has opened my ears;
I have not been rebellious,
I have not turned away.
Isaiah 50:4-5

Dear Lord,

I want to be able to say the same thing Isaiah said above, and mean it.

I want to spend time receiving Your instructions and wisdom through Your Word, speaking with You in prayer, and hearing You through an open mind, a willing heart, and listening ears.

Please bring to my remembrance Your Word so that I can share it with the weary and offer them hope.

Please hide Your Word in my heart so that I will remember it and not be rebellious, so that it will be a constant guide in my life.

Thank You Lord, for all of your blessings, past, present, and future.

In Jesus' name I pray,

Amen.

[05/18/18]   A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
John 13:34-35 NKJV

[05/14/18]   Dear Father God,

I know You want me to have a complete picture of the situations I will face today and to know what actions I must take to fulfill Your will for my life.

I thank You for the Holy Spirit who works on my behalf and who guides me when I don't know what to do.

Thank You for Jesus who is my great Intercessor who stands in the gap and intercedes for me.

Please bring intercessors and friends into my life to hold me up in prayer and to help me along the way.

Likewise, help me be an intercessory prayer warrior, praying and interceding on the behalf of others around me who need prayer for special needs and daily struggles.

Father, please increase my prayer vision.

Please be with me and keep me from evil, that I may be a blessing to You and to those around me.

In the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior I pray,

[05/07/18]   Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for Jesus who saved me from my sins.

It is only through the blood of Jesus that my sins are covered and washed away, redeeming my soul from the curse of sin.

I'm reminded of the old hymn...

What can wash away my sin;
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
What can make me whole again;
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
O precious is the flow,
that makes me white as snow;
no other fount I know,
nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Thank you for loving me so much.

In the name of Jesus I pray,

Amen.

[05/02/18]   I call on you, my God, for you will answer me;
turn your ear to me and hear my prayer.
Show me the wonders of your great love,
you who save by your right hand
those who take refuge in you from their foes.
Keep me as the apple of your eye;
hide me in the shadow of your wings
from the wicked who are out to destroy me,
from my mortal enemies who surround me.
Psalm 17:6-9

Dear Lord God,

What a privilege to be the apple of Your eye, to be loved beyond comprehension and to be nurtured to grow into that prized fruit of Your making.

I thank You and praise You for Your loving kindness and Your protection.

Thank You for the fresh life You have made possible in Jesus.

In Jesus’ name I pray,

Amen.

May I, in return, be a blessing to you.

In Jesus’ name I pray,

Amen and again, Thank You Lord.

[04/06/18]   Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV

[04/05/18]   Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for The Bible and how it presents Your love and Your truth.

Please teach me as I read You Holy Word, The Bible.

Help me to commit verses to memory so that I may hide Your Word in my heart.

May Your Word be present to me in times of temptation and struggle.

Please reveal Your desires for me as I read my Bible

For the word of God is alive and active.
Sharper than any double-edged sword,
it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit,
joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts
and attitudes of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12

Thank You for Your Word that points me towards You, the light of the world.

In Jesus' name I pray,

Amen and thank You Lord.

[03/14/18]   Dear Lord God,

You are my loving and forgiving Father in Heaven.

Thank You for Your love that...

…always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.
1 Corinthians 13:7

Today my prayer is for Christians who have run away from You, as described in the parables that Jesus told about the lost sheep, the lost coin and the lost Son (Luke 15).

Whether for reasons of anger, fear, selfish ambition or doubt—I pray that their eyes will be opened to Your love, acceptance and forgiveness.

I pray that You would give me the strength to overcome the temptations in my life that pull me away from You.

Lord, thank You for Your grace, please let it wash over me today.

In Jesus' name I pray,

Amen and thank You Lord.

[03/11/18]   How often have you tried to obey the Lord's commandments and live the kind of life you know you should? But you keep finding yourself failing and missing the mark.

After Jesus told His disciples to obey His commandments, He immediately offered a solution to this problem.

John 14:15 If you love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
17 [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see him, nor know him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and will be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. (GBMV)

You see, in ourselves we just cannot live the kind of life that God requires. We really do love the Lord, but we find it so hard at times to walk the way He told us to.

But Jesus offered the only solution to the problem. He asked that the Father would give us someone to replace Him after He left this earth to return to heaven.

That person was the Holy Spirit, whom Jesus referred to here as the Comforter or the Paraclete. The original Greek word refers to someone who is called to one's side to not only help them in their spiritual lives, but also to plead their cause when they fail.

Just as Jesus never ever condemns us for our failures, so also the Holy Spirit that now lives in us is there, not to condemn us, but to help us live the kind of life Jesus showed us when He walked the earth.

Now all you need to do when you fail is to reach out to the Holy Spirit who lives deep inside you, and He will help you to rise up and overcome. He will give you the strength to handle the problems of life, and assure you that Jesus is still there, and does not condemn you.

Then, with His help you can get up again when you fall, and stand up tall, and face the world with confidence, even if you have failed. As you let Him live His life in you, you will be slowly transformed into the same image as Jesus.

Of course it is not going to happen overnight, but as you give Him more and more free rein in your life, you will soon see the sun beginning to break through the clouds.

And before you know it, the light will shine once again, and you will walk in the confidence that should be yours as a child of the living God.

You can do this on the run, even right after you have failed. Simply close your eyes and say, "Lord I cannot do this without you. I need you once again as My Saviour in this situation. Please come and take control and help me to rise up again. I ask you to live your life through me."

And in just seconds you will feel the difference. He will put the smile back on your face, and a confidence in your heart. Then you can go out and be like Jesus in this world.
