INTENTIONAL PARENTING ALERT!! I received this from a mom of a kindergartener after our Mission Friends Zoom meeting last night. Our teachers are amazing, and our parents are too. While we do have Sunday Bible Study on campus currently, this is one benefit of not having Mission Friends on campus. Parents are listening! This gives me chills! I am so thankful that God gives us these moments to encourage our hearts during a less than ideal season. He is faithful!
VBS is still very important!!! Dr. Hardage encourages us to think outside of the box for VBS.
Preschool Leaders....as I plan and look forward to Sundays back in our buildings my mind goes to toys. I would love to read your thoughts on toys in rooms and cleaning practices.

Summit Spotlight

Today we're shining the spotlight on Sharon Stratmoen. In addition to being the events developer for Group Publishing, she is also the preschool pastor at Rockpoint Church in Lake Elmo, MN. Her breakouts are:

How Kids Learn
What makes a lesson great? Is it the teacher? The topic? The supplies? Or might it be the kids themselves? When you discover how kids learn best, every lesson becomes impactful and memorable. Explore Jesus’ teaching, specifically the parable of the sower, to develop a more effective approach to leading kids. You’ll discover how to help kids not just hear but truly understand God’s Word. Plus, unlock secrets of the brain that lead to long-term memory.

Age-Level Insights for Spiritual Development in Early Childhood
The first five years of a child’s life are the most crucial when it comes to development. Researchers say that intellectual development is half over by age five. We’ll explore how teaching the Bible to young children is a top priority for spiritual formation. You’ll better understand the kids you serve and gain practical ideas for sharing Jesus in ways that connect perfectly with each child’s physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual development.
