“Love for God and man is the true incentive in both healing and teaching. Love inspires, illumines, designates, and leads the way. Right motives give pinions to thought, and strength and freedom to speech and action. Love is priestess at the altar of Truth. Wait patiently for divine Love to move upon the waters of mortal mind, and form the perfect concept. Patience must ‘have her perfect work.’”

Dear Members and Friends,
In compliance with the City of Dallas request that faith communities be models of eliminating all group gatherings, regardless of size, and out of an overwhelming sense of love for our congregants, staff, and community, Fifth Church is suspending all in-person events including Sunday church services, Sunday school, Wednesday testimony meetings, and any other meetings effective immediately (Wednesday, March 18), until further notice. We are exploring options for remote services and will update this page with more information as it becomes available.
At this time, the Reading Room will remain open during its regularly scheduled hours for you to explore, study, and purchase products. If additional guidance deems it necessary to modify hours or close the Reading Room, we will alert you right away. Call before driving to the Reading Room to make sure that the Librarian or an attendant is available, or if you need to make alternate arrangements for purchases of Reading Room materials at 214-350-9091 or by email at [email protected].
There are over 50 branch churches from around the world listed at csdirectory.com that offer teleconference options for their church services. The listings can be found at this link…
Thank you for your patience as we traverse this uncharted territory together. We will keep in close contact with you as this situation changes. As a preventative recommended by the CDC, the church will receive a thorough deep cleaning while the building is closed.

Watch a replay of today's joyous camp song sing-a-long with Stephen Hanlin! Tomorrow at 2pm, tour the horse herds at CedarS Camp.
When campers leave at the end of the session, we always say “take CedarS home with you.” That’s possible because what we share at CedarS is not about a place or a season of the year, but a divine idea that includes experiencing God and feeling the joy of giving, growing, and loving unconditionally. Therefore, we can connect with CedarS all year long! In that spirit, we offer some fun ways to experience CedarS from your home this Spring Break.
Starting today, we'll be offering daily activities taught be CedarS staff and specialists for campers to enjoy from home! Join us from 2:00-2:30 p.m. Central on Facebook Live (unless otherwise noted) or follow along at our CedarS 365 blog where we'll post most sessions (http://blog.cedarscamps.org/category/cedars-365/). Activities to include camp sing-a-longs, crafts, and learning horse care!

Experiencing heaven now In college, I was suddenly hit with a feeling of being disconnected and alone. Maybe it was because I was the only female physics major. Maybe it was because my work schedule meant I was seeing less of my friends. Whatever the reason, I knew that a change in circumstances wouldn’t solve anything. It was at that point that spirituality became of primary importance in helping me find a lasting solution. [ 239 more words ]
