Park Cities Baptist Church

At PCBC we strive to Know God through worship, to Grow more like Christ in discipleship, and to Show Christ by reaching the lost world.

Park Cities Baptist Church is a busy and vibrant church, with numerous ministries, missions and programs. Yet, in everything we do, we strive to Know Christ through worship, to Grow more like Him through discipleship, and to Show His love by joining Him on mission, bringing hope and healing to our world through the Gospel.

Mission: As Christians, our purpose is to bring glory to Jesus Christ. We do that—as a church and as individuals—by living as disciples and by making disciples. That’s easy to say, but what does it mean? The life of discipleship involves three inter-related processes: knowing Christ, growing in Christ and showing Christ to others. We call it the Jesus Life—a life that looks increasingly like the life of Jesus. Our goal in 2012 is to help every PCBC member not only understand what it means to live as a disciple but also to take specific steps every day to live as Christ would have us live. Many of us already are living the Jesus Life, but can always follow Him more closely. Others need to take that first step to follow Christ every day in every area of daily life.

Happy New Year! 🎉 We pray that you and your family have a wonderful start to 2020.

So how to DO we make room for Jesus? Visit and scroll down to watch last Sunday's sermon in full.

This summer, Pastor Jeff and a team of 40 from PCBC traveled to Kenya in cooperation with our amazing ministry partners, Lighthouse for Christ and African Christian Outreach. Ministry projects included a pastors’ training and church build, a clinic performing hundreds of eye surgeries, VBS, and vocational teaching for young adults. Your generosity helped make this trip possible!

PCBC’s partnership with Jack Lowe Sr. Elementary (JLE) has enriched the lives of many students and families who are refugees to our area from all over the world. Through programs like Adopt-a-Teacher, A Jugar (“to play”), So-Royalty and Boys United afterschool clubs, plus readers, tutors and mentors – our church family invests in the lives of the entire Jack Lowe community on a weekly basis. And it's working - recently, JLE was named a national Blue Ribbon school by the Department of Education, after having been in the bottom 50 schools in the state for over 4 years! Your giving has made this possible. This Giving Tuesday, consider the impact your gift has not just in our church, but in our community as well. Give now at

Because of your generosity, PCBC is reaching the next generation with the hope of the Gospel. PCBC Kids and PCBC Students offer fun, exciting programs for all ages that teach our kids how to follow Jesus every day - from Children's Choir to student mission trips and Kids Collective to CREW.

The tornados that ripped through Dallas on Oct. 20 caused widespread devastation just a few miles from our church. Because of your generosity, PCBC was immediately able to respond by helping with clean-up efforts; offering meeting space for Primera Iglesia Bautista, whose church building was destroyed; collecting school supplies for neighboring campuses; and assisting affected church members.

Each year, PCBC sends mission teams of all ages to South Texas. From building beds to hanging drywall, and from hosting children's camps to sharing the Gospel, PCBC members are bringing the hope of Jesus to families in the colonias. And because people like YOU give, precious children like these no longer have to sleep on the floor - they have their very own beds!
