Radical for Christ Ministries, Inc

We are an Evangelistic Ministry. Our mandate is simple – to know Christ and to make Him known to a lost and dying world.

[03/10/13]   2 Corinthians 4:8-11 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

[03/10/13]   I will not stop sharing the Gospel no matter what happens as this is the great commission. Matt: 28:19-20

[03/10/13]   The early church was married to poverty, prisons and persecutions. Today, the church is married to prosperity, personality, and popularity.

[03/09/13]   “If you want to take advantage of opportunities to use your talent, then you must be prepared when the opportunities arise. Once the opportunity presents itself, it’s too late to get ready.”

[03/07/13]   Psalm 139:23 Investigate my life, O God,find out everything about me;Cross-examine and test me,get a clear picture of what I’m about;See for yourself whether I’ve done anything wrong—then guide me on the road to eternal life.

[03/07/13]   Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart;Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me,And lead me in the way everlasting.

[03/01/13]   The Will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

[03/01/13]   Ordinary people that make simple commitments, can make an extraordinary impact in their world

[02/24/13]   Proverbs 14:22
Isn’t it obvious that conspirators lose out, while the thoughtful win love and trust?

[02/24/13]   4. The Leader’s Greatest Discipline —Taking Time to Think.

One of the reasons people do not grow as leaders is that they try to change their results without changing their thinking. Our lives today are a result of our thinking yesterday, and our lives tomorrow will be determined by what we think today. If we desire to rise above our circumstances and to move up to another level in our careers, then we need to improve our thinking.

[02/22/13]   2. The Leader’s Greatest Asset — Confidence.

Confidence in oneself is the cornerstone of successful leadership. Only those who believe in themselves have enough optimism to see the best in those around them. Self-confidence breeds confidence in others.

[02/22/13]   1 John 4:17 God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us, so that we’re free of worry on Judgment Day—our standing in the world is identical with Christ’s. There is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life—fear of death, fear of judgment—is one not yet fully formed in love.

[02/22/13]   1. The Leader’s Greatest Victory — Victory over Self.

We commonly think of a leader’s greatest victory as being over others, as defeating an opposing team or a rival business. However, as Plato wrote, “the first and best victory is to conquer self.” Every leader faces a struggle against self-interestedness. Yet whereas followers tend to think of themselves first, leaders have learned to put others ahead of themselves.

[02/20/13]   Habakkuk 3:2 - Amplified Bible (AMP)

A prayer from the Prophet Habakkuk

2 O Lord, I have heard the report of You and was afraid. O Lord, revive Your work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make [Yourself] known! In wrath [earnestly] remember love, pity, and mercy.

[02/20/13]   A prayer of the prophet Habakkuk, with orchestra:

Habakkuk 3:2
God, I’ve heard what our ancestors say about you,
and I’m stopped in my tracks, down on my knees.
Do among us what you did among them.
Work among us as you worked among them.
And as you bring judgment, as you surely must,
remember mercy.

[02/20/13]   Being transparent is a powerful thing, if you can trust yourself and be trusted by others. The reason most leaders are not transparent is because they believe they will be viewed as less authoritative.

[02/14/13]   To be effective in the Kingdom of God, you must be comfortable with being uncomfortable.

[02/14/13]   Romans 10:14
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

[02/14/13]   Okay the door has opened to go into the Hutchins Unit next month. Thank you Lord for your favor!!

[02/14/13]   Leaders deal in the realm of power. It's inescapable. It's what you do with it that matters. Jesus took it to the next level when He declared that love is the greatest commandment. (Matthew 22:37-19) Then Jesus put (supernatural) power in love by dying on a cross

[02/14/13]   Love and Purpose in your Leadership:

For the power of God's love to be activated through your leadership, you must be on His purpose.

Nearly every church I know has a purpose statement. Some may call it a mission statement or a vision statement, but regardless of how it's labeled, church leaders rarely struggle with coming up with the words. They struggle with living them out. They struggle with staying on purpose.

The pressures and demands of ministry can and do distract us from our purpose and can diminish the power of God in and through our leadership.

[02/14/13]   The Holy Spirit moved mightily at Youth Village tonight, over 50 youth and staff excepted Jesus as their Savior. Please continue to pray for us as we endeavor to reach those incarcerated for Jesus!

[02/13/13]   Leaders must perform a tricky balancing between care and candor. Leaders overly concerned with showing care create dysfunctional relationships in which conflict gets swept under the rug. Oppositely, leaders who speak candidly, without considering the emotional impact of their words, put unnecessary distance between themselves and others. In a healthy and developing relationship caring should never completely suppress candor, nor should candor entirely displace caring.

[02/12/13]   As an Evangelist it our responsibility to connect new converts to the local Church. Would you leave a newborn baby to fend for itself? Of course not; so it is with the newborn spiritual baby. Amen!

[02/12/13]   1 Corinthians 13:3 If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.Love never gives up.Love cares more for others than for self.Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.Love doesn’t strut,Doesn’t have a swelled head,Doesn’t force itself on others,Isn’t always “me first,”Doesn’t fly off the handle,Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,Doesn’t revel when others grovel,Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,Puts up with anything,Trusts God always,Always looks for the best,Never looks back,But keeps going to the end.

[02/12/13]   Do you do Ministry to make yourself look good or because you want to please the Father in heaven?

[02/12/13]   Are you a servant or are you a superstar?

[02/12/13]   Are you a good listener?

I Underestimated the Value of Listening.

Over time, I discovered that instead of trying to impress others and be interesting to them I should be impressed and interested in them. That could only happen if I become a better listener. The ability to listen is the foundation to building positive relationships with others and a vital skill in communicating effectively. Listening shows respect to others, introduces you to new ideas, and alerts you to problems that you otherwise would not even know existed.

[02/12/13]   Going into Youth Village on Wednesday night to minister to over 50 Youth, The Lord is continuing to expand borders to reach souls! #prayer

[02/09/13]   What a powerful move of God today. Souls were saved and lives are being transformed. I pray that more men volunteer for Jail & Prison Ministry.

[02/09/13]   2 Thessalonians 1:1, 3 I, Paul, together with Silas and Timothy, greet the church of the Thessalonian Christians in the name of God our Father and our Master, Jesus Christ. Our God gives you everything you need, makes you everything you’re to be. You need to know, friends, that thanking God over and over for you is not only a pleasure; it’s a must. We have to do it. Your faith is growing phenomenally; your love for each other is developing wonderfully. Why, it’s only right that we give thanks. We’re so proud of you; you’re so steady and determined in your faith despite all the hard times that have come down on you. We tell everyone we meet in the churches all about you.

[02/09/13]   Leaving to go into Dawson State Jail to minister. Pray for souls to be saved. #salvation
