Church of the Solid Rock

A non-denominational, Bible teaching, Jesus believing church where ALL are welcome! We currently offer an online worship service. Tune in and be blessed.

Christian Church. Bible-based. Spirit-filled. All about God/Jesus and love.

Church of the Solid Rock was founded on Matthew 16:18. Founded, September 4, 2008 in Dallas Texas, by Pastor Doris G. Deckard. By faith, our Inauguration Services were held October 23, 2008, opening our doors with a 3-day Spiritual Revival "It's Harvest Time: What Seeds Have You Sown?" Afterward, and with much success, Church of the Solid Rock began a weekly Wednesday Night "Power Hour" Worship then moved to a Sunday Worship January 2010. We've made strides and contributions in Outreach and Community Service beginning with the Sandbranch Water Drive, Feeding the Homeless (The Bridge), The Union Gospel Mission (Men/Women), Legacy Founders Cottage, and most recently The SoupMobile Church. We've hosted many Juneteenth Services and Bible Studies classes throughout our Ministries. We look forward to ministering to any soul in search for Jesus and the truth. As God's will is done, we will continue to reach the many souls in the battlefield. We are a powerful Ministry planted by God. We love to give our our Highest Praises. Connect with us, as you are lead by God, and help us to continue to write our hiSTORY. For more information about our church, log on to www.crock4christ.org.

[06/01/21]   There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it .
1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV

Good Morning Saints of the Most High God. I pray that all is well. Today I want to share a Devotion with you.

**Read Luke 15:11-32**

God is on the battlefield.
He is fighting our battles, keeping us safe from dangers seen and unseen. And when our enemies and our foes come AGAINST us, they WILL stumble and fall.

For A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. For the Lord will send his angels to keep watch over you both day and Night. Psalms 91:7

Today we declare that our God is strong and Mighty! In fact, the elders would sing.. What A Mighty God we Serve! No matter how difficult our burdens, No matter how great our problems, God is bigger than them all. Everything that was meant to destroy you(us) has failed! And today we rise to proclaim that Greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world.

IT'S A SETUP Saints. God will set us up to succeed and not fail. Jeremiah 29:11

So, where ever we go, do, and experience, our Creator God will watch over and keep us. Be blessed and be a blessing this week, even to the prodigal son or daughter of God.

Colossians 3:12 NIV

[05/27/21]   For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. John 3:16‭-‬18 NIV

That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said. As he spoke, he showed them the wounds in his hands and his side. They were filled with joy when they saw the Lord! Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” Then he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
John 20:19‭-‬22 NLT

[05/16/21]   And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38‭-‬39 NLT

[05/14/21]   Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord ! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!
Habakkuk 3:17‭-‬18 NLT

[05/14/21]   “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.
John 14:27 NLT

[05/10/21]   And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.
Hebrews 13:16 NLT

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
1 Corinthians 13:4‭-‬7 NLT

[05/06/21]   Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.
Colossians 4:2 NLT

[05/05/21]   Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

[05/05/21]   Note to Self:
Nourish the four most important relationships:
1. God
2. Myself
3. My family
4. Destiny helpers
Remember, prayer does not only change things it also changes people!
I am awesome!
I am enough!

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.
1 Peter 1:3‭-‬5 NLT

[04/25/21]   If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do. James 1:5‭-‬8 NLT

[04/22/21]   The earth is the Lord ’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him. Psalms 24:1 NLT

[04/17/21]   For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
Isaiah 43:19 NLT

[04/16/21]   O Lord , I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them. Isaiah 25:1 NLT
