Church of the Solid Rock was founded on Matthew 16:18. Founded, September 4, 2008 in Dallas Texas, by Pastor Doris G. Deckard. By faith, our Inauguration Services were held October 23, 2008, opening our doors with a 3-day Spiritual Revival "It's Harvest Time: What Seeds Have You Sown?" Afterward, and with much success, Church of the Solid Rock began a weekly Wednesday Night "Power Hour" Worship then moved to a Sunday Worship January 2010. We've made strides and contributions in Outreach and Community Service beginning with the Sandbranch Water Drive, Feeding the Homeless (The Bridge), The Union Gospel Mission (Men/Women), Legacy Founders Cottage, and most recently The SoupMobile Church. We've hosted many Juneteenth Services and Bible Studies classes throughout our Ministries. We look forward to ministering to any soul in search for Jesus and the truth. As God's will is done, we will continue to reach the many souls in the battlefield. We are a powerful Ministry planted by God. We love to give our our Highest Praises. Many people think the job of preaching and making disciples was simply for pastors and church leaders. But God calls all of us—The Church—to make disciples and be witnesses. The Word says: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Through Jesus, God's relationship with humanity has moved beyond Israel, to include people from every corner of the world, who come to the Father through the Son.

Let's pray: LORD God, thank You for this day that was not promised. We ask Your blessing upon us. Fill us with Your Holy Ghost fire, to equip us to make more disciples...followers of Jesus.

God, we know that You are the Alpha and Omega of our lives. Let the finished work of Jesus allow us the power and stamina to finish the work that You have begun in us. I pray 🙏 to You oh God, to let it be so, according to Your perfect will, in Jesus's name. AMEN!

[07/18/21]   Happy Sunday Church of the Solid Rock! I pray that you've had a blessed week. Just wanted to stop by for a brief moment to share Luke 6:38 NIV - Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

A lot of people [I have found] think that when they give of themselves, THEY will miss out on something. That if they give too much, they won't receive it back.

I say, when you give from the heart, God will multiply it right back to you and more if you. If you Give love with the right intentions, you'll receive love. Be forgiving, and you will be forgiven. In other words, treat people the way YOU want to be treated. Don't judge them and God won't judge you...and with the SAME measure as you judged them...per Luke 37.

It's funny how we, as Christians, have a hard time with this. We are so quick to point the finger at others without even considering what WE look like to the people WE judge. Take a look at your own life. Ask yourself if you are doing everything God wants YOU to do. Am I loving enough?... Am I forthcoming with forgiveness or do I hold back? Am I gracious? Am I generous or, too stingy to give because of fear of "missing out" or losing something? 🤔 Ask yourself: am I too critical..or very caring of others?

You know, life can bring about many life-changing experiences, which could lead to life-altering circumstances that others may not fully understand. Therefore it is best to remain quiet 🤫 instead of judging "their" circumstance. I recommend grace...God's grace, and love. Why, because God gives us the same -- plus He adds mercy to the mix.

Beloved, whenever you feel the urge to express your feelings or thoughts about a person, just remember that it could be you that's being judged too...and by the same way (measure) in which you judge me or them...

I hope and pray 🙏 that this simple Message has touched you in some way. To encourage you to speak helpful words of hope vs. crutial words of hurt.

Let us pray: Father God, thank You for trusting this simple witness with You Word. I hope and pray that it did not fall on blinded eyes but open hearts. Creator God, thank You for blessing us with Your loving kindness and forgiveness. We appreciate ALL YOU Do for us. I pray 🙏 that we NEVER take it for granted and that we cherish every day of Your grace and favor over our lives. Be with us God, as we move through this day and upcoming week. I plead the Blood of Jesus over it and us. In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen. Amen. And Amen.

Good Morning Saints of the Most High God. I pray that all is well. Today I want to share a Devotion with you.

**Read Luke 15:11-32**

God is on the battlefield.
He is fighting our battles, keeping us safe from dangers seen and unseen. And when our enemies and our foes come AGAINST us, they WILL stumble and fall.

For A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. For the Lord will send his angels to keep watch over you both day and Night. Psalms 91:7

Today we declare that our God is strong and Mighty! In fact, the elders would sing.. What A Mighty God we Serve! No matter how difficult our burdens, No matter how great our problems, God is bigger than them all. Everything that was meant to destroy you(us) has failed! And today we rise to proclaim that Greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world.

IT'S A SETUP Saints. God will set us up to succeed and not fail. Jeremiah 29:11

So, where ever we go, do, and experience, our Creator God will watch over and keep us. Be blessed and be a blessing this week, even to the prodigal son or daughter of God.
