Consistency
For many of our kids, this is the first time they've had consistency... their mama committed to her sobriety and right living, a consistent roof over their head, and consistent people pouring into them. At Exodus, we celebrate the "small" things... that aren't really small at all!

An emotional arrival day last night when this mama saw her bed for the first time. In many cases, these women have gone without a bed. Can you imagine? All of our eyes were teary last night after this moment! Thanks for giving her, and her three babies, a home and a second chance.

Come make a friend, and bounce a ball with Xyrus! Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays from 6:15-8:15pm. Join our Children’s Ministry team! Comment for more info!

So proud of our little man for taking his first steps! So many firsts (for mom and child) happen here!

Exodus Ministries - Who We Are
Curious about what we do, and the families we serve? Let our Executive Director fill you in...

Why give? So mamas can learn how to do things the right way... like pay off old fees and obtain a drivers license!

Why give today?
Give today so little ones like Gryffen can celebrate their 1st birthday [and all the others] with their mama! #ntxgivingday https://www.northtexasgivingday.org/exodus-ministries

Why give?
Why give? So sweet ones like Selah can see their moms succeed in life by having employment, staying sober, attending and graduating college! #northtexasgivingday https://www.northtexasgivingday.org/exodus-ministries

We are so thankful for everyone that has participated so far today, there is still time to make your voice heard! #ntxgivingday

Whoa!!!!

Welcome home, Ronda!
We welcomed a family to our program this morning. Please join us in welcoming her!

Geana's Graduation Speech
Many of you have asked for Geana's graduation speech, as it was both moving and profound... feel free to watch and share... and try not to ugly cry [but if you do, it's okay, we did too].

Today she has a home. Praising Him for her life today, and for the life of her precious 2 month old son.

Easter ready! 😍

The fact that our mamas yelped with joy when they found out Mrs. Jean-Ann was coming back to teach a class says a whole lot. We love our teachers! 😍

Do you love babies? We are in need of a baby team for Monday nights, 6:30-8PM in Dallas! Come snuggle some ridiculously CUTE babies! http://exodusministries.org/volunteer-application/ or shoot me an email - [email protected]

Okay. But. Don’t you wanna snuggle her? Become a Children’s Ministry volunteer in 2018!! 😍

Aden
Just in case you needed to tear up tonight... In between munching on Hot Tamales, this sweet one told us what Exodus is to him. If you know him, you know what a tremendous transformation this boy has made during his time here.

Fireflies!
Tonight, we taught the kiddos a favorite pastime: catching fireflies and rolling down hills. Many of these children have grown up - being the adult. It's time for them to experience being a kid as Exodus empowers their mamas to be mamas! #NTxGivingDay

We've DOUBLED the amount of kiddos we have (in a matter of a week). Tonight, we took the big kids off property during class and they had a ball with Mr. Max and Miss Avery. So blessed by High School seniors that give up their Tuesday night to play soccer, tag, and swing on swings with our kiddos!!! #NTxGivingDay

Welcome home, Jessica and Brayden!
Jessica, our newest Exodus resident, shares about her dreams, goals, and her experience with Exodus so far! Take a listen, and share!

Our sweet Case Manager, Courtney, giving a tour this afternoon. Do you have a group that might be interested in a tour or more information on how to plug in? Please email us at [email protected]

Most of you know what we do at Exodus - we reunite mothers with their children after their incarceration. What you may not realize is that sometimes siblings are forced to split up during that time, as well. It is so great to see siblings be reunited - this little one in particular (Aden and his big sister Arya) - he refers to her as "My Rya!" 😍

Yesterday, we got to celebrate Arriah's first steps!

Exodus Ministries first opened its doors in 1985 as a result of the vision of a husband and wife team who saw a need to meet the unique needs of children of formerly incarcerated mothers by serving both the children and their mothers. The focus was then, and is today, meeting the spiritual, emotional and practical needs of the children by giving them a stable mother and home.

Prayer Night
On Friday night, we had an intimate prayer and worship night with our ladies and children. As we were finishing up, one of our moms closed the night out by singing this sweet song... her daughter joined in and had us all wiping away the tears. This is why we do what we do. Reconciliation.

We are so grateful for this team of Children's Ministry volunteers!!

God is so Good!! This is Tesha Cobb, she is a faithful resident at Exodus Ministries! We are so proud of her and all her accomplishments! She loves the Lord and continues to strive to be all God has called her to be!! Today, she went on her first interview at Subway......and guess what.....with prayer and fair.....SHE GOT THE JOB!!!!!

Today we're celebrating Cece's new job! We're so thankful for every volunteer, donor, and supporter of this ministry that has enabled Cece to succeed! ❤️
