Come be part of our community at PCPC! We would love to have you!
“To all who are spiritually weary and seek rest; to all who mourn and long for comfort; to all who struggle and desire victory; to all who sin and need a Savior; to all who are strangers and want fellowship; to all who hunger and thirst after righteousness; and to all who will come, this church opens wide her doors and offers welcome in the name of Jesus Christ.” This statement, on the front of the PCPC bulletin every Sunday, expresses our desire to be a ministry that welcomes all college students. The gospel of grace is a message of hope, not because of who we are, but because of who God is and what he has done in Christ. No matter who you are or what you’ve done, we hope that you will find the love and acceptance of Jesus Christ at PCPC. THE COLLEGE CLASS The college class is a Sunday morning community for college students at PCPC. We meet at 11:00 a.m. in Room 303, and many of us worship together at 9:30 in the sanctuary. Join us for a time of casual fellowship and interactive teaching. All college students are welcome. For the next few weeks, we're going to start off the semester with a series, "What I Learned in College." I want to share a few things the Lord taught me in college that changed my perspective on life. RUF @ SMU We love partnering with RUF at SMU. RUF (or Reformed University Fellowship) is the campus ministry in our denomination (the Presbyterian Church in America). A number of PCPC members are involved as volunteer leaders with RUF at SMU. If you’re an SMU student—or even if you’re not—we’d love to introduce you to RUF. During the school year, RUF has a large group gathering at 7:30 on Tuesday nights in the Varsity. There are a number of small groups that meet throughout the week as well. To learn more about RUF at SMU, check out the website (http://www.rufsmu.com).
Mission: PCPC's mission statement: "To extend the transforming presence of the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ in Dallas and to the world." By God's grace, we hope to be people who: 1. Long to worship God together. 2. Know and live the word of God. 3. Tell stories of God's rescue. 4. Pray bold and dependent prayers. 5. Change the world.

We are so excited for all the things the Lord has for you, including #leighandharrymarry this summer. Your Dallas people love you. We miss ya already!
Over the past six weeks we've shared the EXTEND Vision and how it will impact the future of PCPC. We're excited to give you an overview of what this vision looks like and why it is centered on New Doors, New Churches, and a New City!

One more favorite article that's encouraging as we start the new year...
desiringgod.org I’ve told the story many times of talking impatiently with my wife one Sunday morning and having my nine-year-old son interject, “Daddy, is this the way a Christian man should be talking to his wife?” Rather sarcastically I said, “What…
If you've never seen Jonathan Edwards' Resolutions, they're worthy of reflection. Realize that he was the age of a typical college student when he wrote these. I love that Desiring God has made Edwards a "guest contributor."
Perhaps my favorite: "Resolved, to live with all my might, while I do live."
desiringgod.org Being sensible that I am unable to do anything without God’s help, I do humbly entreat him by his grace to enable me to keep these Resolutions, so far as they are agreeable to his will, for Christ’s sake. Remember…
Wanting to continue reading the Bible in 2017? Wanting to start again or perhaps for the first time? Here's a helpful article with some practical helps.
desiringgod.org It is remarkable that we have Bibles we can read personally, whenever we want. For most of church history, that has not been the case.
[01/01/17] Students, happy new year! We will not have the College Class today, but the church does have worship services at 9:30 and 11:00. Hope you're having a great break.
As you make your way back to Dallas, we'd love to see you over the Christmas break. Drop Leigh or Robby a line. See ya Sunday (December 18th)!

Tonight, we'll be meeting at the Higginbottoms' house, not at PCPC. 7pm at 6714 Belford Dr (near Mockingbird and Abrams). Join us for pizza, salad, and a word from God's word.
