Sunday Service 12/15 #wearesprings

SFC had the honor of hosting the very first Community Christmas Candlelight Service last night sponsored by the Pleasant Grove Ministerial Alliance. To see different denominations come together to worship the One true living God was powerful and the diversity represented was beautiful! The community choir kicked it off then we heard an encouraging word from Bishop J Lee Slater about keeping our hand to the plow; Joe Cox sang a beautiful rendition of “A Christmas Hallelujah”; communion was served and we concluded the evening with everyone shining their lights and singing “Silent Night”. The PGMA blessed all the kids with stockings full of candy and fruit! (Thanks to Redeemed Youth for stuffing the bags!) The PGMA ministers enjoyed dinner together and a sweet time of fellowship following the service.

Thanks to everyone who brought food and participated in the annual First Responders Thanksgiving luncheon. The police officers, firemen and their families are always so appreciative. Thank you, Pastor Teresa Gammons, for organizing this outreach project. Your organization skills always make it flow so easily and enjoyable! #wearesprings

It was a good weekend at The Springs. We honored the memory of our beloved Sis. Mary Shepherd on Saturday with a beautiful memorial service. (Service was recorded live on the church page at the request of friends and family).

Thanks to Donna and Dave Williams, Jesus Monge and Rhonda Carrier for sharing their powerful testimonies during the Harvest Praise Service on Sunday. We are made overcomers by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony! Mass Choir and Worship Team had a “Thank you on their lips” as we worshipped and praised God for His Goodness and Faithfulness. And we love our Kids Crew who shared their “Thanksgiving thoughts” with us also!!

The perfect conclusion for Harvest Praise was dedicating Marvin and Destinee’s precious baby girl Everly Mercedes to the Lord. Such a beautiful representation of family.

Thanks to everyone who jumped in after service and helped with the Christmas decorating projects. The church looks beautiful! We love our Springs Family! #wearesprings

Does anyone need a FREE bed and dresser? This is Mason’s that he’s had for 13 years... the bed is fine, but the dresser is a little worn with some missing knobs and drawers that sometimes get stuck. It will be available for pick-up tomorrow in Combine. We could sell it, but I’d rather bless someone with it. Let me know!

This is open to whomever would like to help!! We need some manpower too!!

Mary Shepherd Memorial Service

Springs Fellowship Church Canton

Our story:
2 years ago Pastor Milton Spears shared his vision about opening a sister church in Canton, TX. After two years of prayer and seeking Gods direction about this vision we decided September/2019 was the time to move forward and began looking for a location. September 10th we found a location off of Trade Days Blvd and secured a lease on September 12th. The pictures below show the demolition process all the way through to the completion. I want to thank Jesus my Lord and Savior for making all of this possible. I want to thank Pastor Milton and Peggy Spears for their vision to reach the Canton area for Christ. I want to thank all of our family at Springs Fellowship Dallas that contributed financially and gave of their time and effort to build the house of God. We are excited to be apart of the Team of Jesus Christ. We pray God will use this ministry in Canton, TX to reach lost souls and heal the hearts and minds of all who enter that place. We ask that you pray for us as we move forward in this quest. That we will finish our race with patience. We speak blessings on all who have been apart. Love from the Butler and Campos family.
P.S. In January 2020 we will be having our grand opening. We will have more info to share later.
