Our mission at Christ For The Nations is to train world changers to walk in their calling and be empowered as God‘s presence is sought after on a daily basis in order to carry out His agenda for the nations.
Christ For The Nations Institute was founded in 1970 as an extension of the global mission. Gordon had envisioned thousands of Spirit-filled believers going forth to do exploits for God around the world. After Gordon's passing, Mrs. Freda Lindsay followed the vision, and the ministry flourished. Today, CFNI graduates are positioned all over the world. Over 40,000 students, both domestic and international, have been trained at CFNI and empowered by the Spirit to touch others with the same Gospel that has transformed their lives. The purpose of this Institute is to raise up a new breed of passionate voices in the earth - to train world changers by empowering and equipping them for the call of God on their lives.

Our COO, Golan Lindsay, shares how his dad and CFNI’s President & CEO, Dennis Lindsay, has always taught on the importance of having the Word of God established in your heart and not just knowing it in your head. The Bible is the very Word of God and it is able to transform your character and your heart! Come be trained with teaching directly from the Word and allow the Lord to transform you from the inside out!

"Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God."
As you set out on the journey this new year holds for you, remember to walk in the way of love. On our own, walking in God’s example would be impossible, but we are empowered to walk in love because of the sacrifice Jesus made for us. His Holy Spirit lives inside of us and, as we yield to Him, we will begin to look more like Him as we are conformed to the image of Christ. Let go of all things that hinder you from walking in love today. It’s a new season!

Community and family are a core focus @cfni. During new student arrival week, we love to see families come to help move in their new students who are just starting their journey here. For those that aren't able to have their families here, we are blessed to see the family that so quickly develops as students form friendships with their roommates and fellow students during their very first moments on campus. The community made @cfni is unforgettable and lasts a lifetime! We look forward to being part of your family!

More than anything else, our leadership @cfni has a heart to seek after the Lord. We recognize the value of taking time to sit at Jesus' feet and go after nothing but Him. Our COO, Golan Lindsay, shares that during times of worship is where he has seen the Lord's character and fruit of the Spirit be cultivated in him. If you have a heart to dive in deeper and cultivate a heart of worship, we invite you to join us at CFNI. https://portal.cfni.org/institute/
If you have not finished registering, don't wait any longer! We look forward to seeing you here this Spring 2021 semester!
"Spiritual inheritance is given for building God's Kingdom. We are to take what is here and pass it on to the next generation." ~ Dr. Dennis Lindsay
"We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and His might, and the wonders that He has done." (Psalm 78:4 ESV)
Legacy is passing the baton to the next generation. Building a bridge for those that are being raised up will enable them to carry on in ministry and impact their generation for the cause of Christ.
As we prepare for the arrival of our new and returning students next week, we realize there may be some hesitation in coming to in-person classes during this time. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
It’s a new day, a new year, and a new season with Jesus! As we enter into this new year, put off anything that did not come from God. This could mean letting go of harmful words that have been spoken over you, lies from the enemy that you’ve believed, fears that accumulated in 2020, or bad habits that are not part of your new nature. Maybe you’ve felt as though you’ve fallen too far from the Lord to return to Him, but the good news is you can start new and fresh with Jesus today! His mercies are new every morning. He is longing to be close to you and transform you into His very likeness! Step into the reality that you are IN Christ so the old has gone and the new is here!
We’re one week away from our New Student’s arrival! We are so excited to welcome you on campus! We can’t wait to help you with the check-in process, make sure you get settled in to your housing for the semester, and host orientations to get you familiar with life @cfni. Come expecting to be trained through the Word and empowered by God for this new season in your life!

It’s the beginning of a new year and with that comes new year’s resolutions! You may choose not to make a tangible list of new year’s resolutions and goals, but we encourage you, in whatever you set out to do this year, to dream big with God! He has great plans for you and He wants to partner with you to see His will be done on earth. Don’t let the fear of not getting everything done stop you from starting. Don’t limit yourself to what you think you can accomplish on your own. You can do immeasurably more than you could think with the Holy Spirit living inside of you and leading you! We’d love to hear about the dreams and goals you have for this year in the comments below!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! We pray that this year you would experience the Presence of Jesus more than ever before! We pray that you would know Him intimately and make Him known greatly! The Lord has wonderful things planned for you in 2021 and He is faithful to see them all come to pass!

We made it to the end of 2020! Here's a look back on some special moments. Thank you to each and every person that chose CFNI to be a part of your journey this year! Happy New Year's Eve!

Here we are on the dawn of a new year and, while this may be a hectic year to look back on, there is much good to look forward to! If you feel you have no other reason to be hopeful for the new year, look to Jesus! Let’s refuse to leave the celebration of His birth and life as a holiday in December. Every day is an opportunity to rejoice in Him and know Him more intimately. Raise your expectations to new heights for this new year with Jesus! He has greater for you than you could ever imagine!
Looking back on this past semester, we wanted to highlight this moment in a class Eric Hollar taught. Principles of Faith is one of the foundational courses students take in their first-year @cfni. In this class, the focus was on Jesus’ life and how He lived as our perfect example of one who walks by faith. Through this course, students study principles of faith that are found in the Word of God and examine thoroughly what it is to believe biblically. First-year students walk away from this class with a better understanding of how to live by faith and please the Lord.
Romans 12:1-2 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will.”
We’re urged to offer our bodies as a sacrifice that is holy and pleasing to God. There is no way we could do this unless He made a way. Through Jesus’ sacrifice, we ARE holy and pleasing to the Father! As we submit to Him, our mind will be renewed, and only after our mind is renewed will we know God’s will. If you’re unsure of what God’s will is for you in 2021, start by submitting your whole being to Him today as an act of worship!
Make this week a week of surrender to the Lord. We’ve just celebrated all that has been done through Jesus’ birth and we now approach the celebration of a new year and all that the Lord will do. You may think this is the time to cruise on to the new year, but be intentional with this last week of December. Surrender this former year and all that has passed to Him. Commit the next year to the Lord and look ahead to all that is coming! Ask the Lord what He has for you in 2021 and listen for Him to guide you. He’s a Good Shepherd and He will lead you faithfully into all that is to come!

Christ For The Nations would like to extend a grand MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your loved ones. May the joy of our Lord Jesus Christ fill your hearts on this wonderful day.
This Christmas Eve may look quite different for you than in the past. You may have had to cancel trips to visit family and friends for Christmas due to everything going on in the world. If your heart is heavy because you can’t be with your loved ones, take time to reflect on the night of Jesus’ birth. Mary and Joseph had traveled very far, could find no room at the inns, and Mary had no other option but to give birth amidst the animals in a stable. These were not the circumstances in which Mary wanted to welcome the Savior into the world, but when Jesus arrived, everything changed. In a moment, Mary was holding the newborn Savior and all the obstacles that had just seemed so daunting seemed dim in the light of His presence. Remember that Jesus is just as present with you right now, whatever your location and circumstances, as He was with Mary when she first laid eyes on Him. He is the Light of the whole world, who brings hope and peace, and He is near to you at this very moment.
One of our greatest joys is to see students offering worship to the Lord passionately from their hearts! Many bring their worship to the Lord as they play skillfully on the guitar or as they sing melodies to Him. Others lay out all of their praise as they dance before Him unrestrained. Still, others worship as they diligently run cameras or lights behind the scenes every morning for chapel. Whatever the expression or form, we are honored to see students daily come alive as they bring their gifts and talents to lay before the Father’s feet.

"O Come, O Come Emmanuel" is both Israel’s call for help and a hopeful proclamation of the coming King. While the verses focus on Israel’s state of loneliness and exile, the chorus rings out with hope and truth as it reminds Israel of her soon-coming Savior.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.
The chorus reminds Israel that a Savior would come to remain with them and not forsake them. We know that a Savior has already come. Jesus came to ransom Israel and, through this, the whole world. He has done it! He is now and forevermore Emmanuel, God with us. He does not leave His people forsaken and, just as this song is written for Israel to remember her Savior, we can listen to this carol and remember that Jesus has already come to ransom us from our life which was dead in sin. Jesus is Emmanuel, God with us.

"The basic test of any ministry is not the gifts that are in operation, but the character of the individual and the fruit in their life." ~ Dr. Dennis Lindsay
"A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and favor is better than silver or gold. (Proverbs 22:1 ESV)
Integrity should be the key factor in a person's influence in the lives of others. Acts of integrity are not dependent on location or audience but remain the same at all times. It is vital that a Christian lives their life blamelessly, ever holding onto the truth that they are a new creation.
Remain aware today that Jesus is with you and in you wherever you go. As you spend time with family and friends this week, allow the Lord to minister through you to touch their lives. He desires for you to see others with the same love that He has for you. His love is everlasting and always eager to meet you and everyone you encounter! Let your heart be filled with joy today as you stay captivated by the Lord’s amazing love and watch as it overflows into everything you do!
The ancient Scriptures, written by the prophets of old, declare that the Word of God was indeed made flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus, the Christ, was the fulfillment of both the Law and the Prophets. We invite you and your family to join us for the next 5 days on the @youversion Bible app as we explore the Hearts of Prophets and Kings. Swipe up on our story to read our newly released devotional!

While your time at CFNI may come and go in the blink of an eye, one of the most enriching aspects that remains with you is the friendships that are established in your time here. The Lord not only knows the need for spiritual growth here, but He knows the necessity for community with other believers. He's placed you here at just the right time with just the right connections in order to help you experience all the spiritual and emotional growth you need for your future. Whether you’ve come for just one semester or for all three years, we know the Lord has a community prepared to help you grow and see your life strengthened in all areas!

Here's a look into the Development Across the Life Cycle class from this past semester. Students in the Children and Family Major were taught in this class how to gain a better understanding of the way people grow, spiritually and emotionally, so that they would know how to minister to them more effectively. In this class time, Gwyneth Enriquez taught the importance of remaining under the covering of obedience while most importantly pleading the Blood of Jesus over you and your family. These and other foundational truths were instilled in the students over the course of the semester to take with them as they carry out their ministry to children and families wherever they go from here.
We can, with all glee, sing, “Joy to the earth, the Savior reigns!” because of the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. A young Jewish man, born of a virgin and raised up with no personal knowledge of sin, became sin as to rob death of its power over mankind. In doing so, the man with countless wounds and nails in his extremities would be brought back to the consciousness of the living. This deep-rooted love for God’s very good creation would be displayed on the day that breath re-entered His lungs, providing all men with the opportunity to receive eternal life.
For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Corinthians 5:21 ESV)
