Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Galatians 6:9‭-‬10 NIV

[02/05/20]   Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. 1 Chronicles 16:9‭-‬11 NIV

[01/25/20]   But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22‭-‬23 NIV

[01/15/20]   We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Romans 12:6‭-‬8 NIV

[01/14/20]   Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. James 1:22‭-‬24 NIV

[01/09/20]   Sharing today's Devotion:
The Best is Yet to Come
Lamentations 3:22-23
The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.

Today is a new day. A new beginning– full of opportunities, full of blessings, and God’s goodness. Release the heaviness, the heartache, and the hurt of yesterday. Today is a new day and there is a new way, God’s way. Let the shedding of the old, liberate you. Let the tears that fall unbind you. There is strength and courage coming your way. Health is here and healing is yours in Jesus name. This is not an ending but a beginning-- there is yet much for you to do. So take a deep breath, let go, and take in God’s peace. Trust, believe, have faith, and let hope reign in your heart. The best is yet to come. So out with the old and in with the new. A hope-filled day, awaits just for you. 🙏Prayer 🙏...Lord, Thank you for this day, this beautiful and hope-filled day. Thank you for fresh starts, for new beginnings and new mercies.
I ask that you renew my heart and mind today. Protect me from the pressures of the day. Fill me up with your strength and purpose. Help me walk closer in your ways, leading me down the path you have set for me. I have faith that the best is truly yet to come, and I can’t wait to see all the marvelous works you have in store for today.
In Jesus name. Amen

Today's Prayer: God, thank You for using Your Word to lead us closer to You. Help us gain a better understanding of Your Word so that we can follow You more closely. Reveal something new to us today, and help us get to know You more today than we did yesterday. Amen!

In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, and His children will have a place of refuge. Proverbs 14:26

[12/26/19]   Then Jesus led them to Bethany, and lifting his hands to heaven, he blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up to heaven. So they worshiped him and then returned to Jerusalem filled with great joy. And they spent all of their time in the Temple, praising God.
Luke 24:50‭-‬53 NLT

[12/25/19]   “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.
Jeremiah 17:7 NLT

[12/12/19]   This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
1 John 4:9‭-‬12 NIV

[11/16/19]   Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?
1 Peter 3:13 NIV

[11/09/19]   Under the old covenant, the priest stands and ministers before the altar day after day, offering the same sacrifices again and again, which can never take away sins. But our High Priest offered himself to God as a single sacrifice for sins, good for all time. Then he sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand. There he waits until his enemies are humbled and made a footstool under his feet. For by that one offering he forever made perfect those who are being made holy. And the Holy Spirit also testifies that this is so. For he says, “This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the Lord : I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” Then he says, “I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds.” And when sins have been forgiven, there is no need to offer any more sacrifices.
Hebrews 10:11‭-‬18 NLT

[10/01/19]   In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35 NIV

[09/29/19]   Hello Church! It’s Sunday morning. Can you say Sunday morning! The Lord has a word for the house today. Please join us and learn a little about judging. Coming from Matthew 7:1-5. We know what the word says, but let us hear about how people can twist His word to justify their “right” to judge and believe it is justified. Well, it is not okay. Please join us. Have a blessed week. First Lady!

Excerpt from today's Message: "Shake Well" Acts 16:16-34
God will sometimes shake you to use you. Eventhough Paul and Silas were locked up, they didn't shut up. They didn't give up. They didn't fear up. They focused on their destiny; not their agony! They evangelized the jailer and prisoners too. Sometimes God will hide his most valuable players in the most unfavorable places. Maximum security for His most sought after servants. So today, take these 4 points and meditate on them:
(1) You have to praise God no matter what
(2) God moves in His own time
(3) God does some of His BEST work in the dark (Gen 1:1-2(3)
(4) Salvation is available to ALL (John 3:16-18)
Paul & Silas' hardship started in vs 16 but their story got better in vs 34. So if you feel a shaking in your lives, know that God has to shake "you" well so He can use you for His purpose and glory. Be blessed saints, and have a great week ahead. -Pastor D
