Hey LP Fam. Can you please pray for me? I've been extremely sick for over a week. I was on vacation last week in Playa but had what I thought was a small head cold a few days before my trip. I went to emergency Sunday when I returned and was diagnosed with gastritis and enflammed Pancreas. I lost 10 pounds and have been very weak due to me not being able to eat much the week I was gone. I'm now dealing with fluctuating temperature up to 100 every day and night sweats. My body still fighting some kind of infection I guess. Please pray for me to have appetite, control of my temperature and full healing. Thank you. #ImNegativeforCovid

Hey LP Fam! My friend Rey reached out to me last night. He asked me to pray for his sister Chris (Chriselda Barboza Rodriguez). She contracted Covid-19 from a family member who visited her home. You know, Chris was actually making mask for people to help prevent Covid. She is currently at the hospital fighting for her life. She can barely speak and requires oxygen full time. She also has Lupus which means her immune system is compromised. Will you please join me in lifting her up in prayer? Things aren't looking good for her, but the fight is not over. 🙏🏽🙌🏽 Thank you all.
Hey LP Fam. I received this text from my good friend whose daughter is in the Army. Will you please take a second to pray for this young girl with me? Thank you.🙏🏽💙 This is what she sent me. Please keep my daughter in your prayers she was in the emergency this morning. Had a headache, pain in her upper left, diarrhea & fatigue. She doesn't have appendicitis but has a inflamed spleen put her on bed rest for the next couple days and has to go back in a week. They will check & see if its worsen & they may need to remove. So please keep her in your prayers 🙏 her name is Krystal Bianca Moreno, thank you!

Take 5 minutes and say hello

Family! Don't forget we have a short meeting planned right after service on Sunday! Whether you're new to the church or have been with us for years, you should come hangout with us! Comment down below and let us know if you'll be attending.

[01/12/21]   Day 7: “More than any other discipline, fasting reveals the things that control us... we cover up what is inside with food and other good things, but in fasting these things surface. Fasting reminds us that we are sustained ‘by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God’ (Matt. 4:4) Food does not sustain us; God does.” - Richard Foster

One of Satan's greatest weapons against believers is discouragement. In the Old Testament, the people of God grew impatient and discouraged, on their way to the Promise Land.

They grew discouraged by the way of God, the why of God of God, and the wait of God. They wondered why God was leading them that way, why God was allowing them to suffer, and how long they’d have to wait on God to deliver them.

Through Moses, God provided a remedy for them back then, and through Jesus He provides the answer for us today...Have you been discouraged lately? Through this sermon we learn how to focus and trust in God in the midst of our difficulties.

Today is day 8 of Advent, which means we light the second candle on our Advent wreath. As we light our candle, let us be reminded of John 1:4, “In him was life, and the life was the light of men.”

The gift of Jesus, God’s only Son, was God’s sacrificial and triumphant act of love. During the Advent season, we can look for the Light, we can share His love, and we can celebrate His life, which He offered and shares with us. And even in the hardships we face and witness in the world around us, we can remember this: Light shines brightest in the dark. Love beams brightest among hate. Life stands out most boldly against death.

Sunday is almost here! Join us at 11am in person and on YouTube and Facebook as we continue our series, "Because of Bethlehem".

Advent Day 2: Psalm 139:7-12
We all face darkness in some form or another, but the promise of Advent reminds us that no matter how tempting it is to despair, God will never let us go. As the psalmist reminded us, God will never abandon us, no matter where we go. We can’t escape His love. We can’t outrun His presence. We can’t elude His care. The great I AM will always be, and He will always be with us.

It's not too late to join us in our Advent countdown. You can read along on the LifePoint Church Dallas App, or download here: https://buff.ly/3ogFMlg

Christians throughout the centuries have celebrated Advent in their homes by lighting the consecutive candles throughout the weeks, doing a short reading, offering a prayer and singing a song. We’ve written an Advent Guide to help you do this! It’s not too late to get your own copy! You can read along on the LifePoint Dallas App, read online, or download by clicking this link for free: buff.ly/37uuaUM What a great way to celebrate and grow in expectation of the coming of our Lord and Savior— join us and get yours today!

It's the best day of the week! #SundayFunday

Christmas is supposed to be a special time, but often the Christmas season can bring pain, sadness, and stress. Sometimes it can be hard to find hope in a season that should be full of hope and joy. Even when Christmas is hard, we have faith in a brighter future because of the true meaning of Christmas. Even during the darkest times, we can find hope, strength, and comfort in Jesus ‘ birth. Come join us at LifePoint Church and discover hope this Christmas season.

Happy Thanksgiving, LifePoint Church!
On behalf of my wife Helen and I, we pray that you have a blessed day of abundance, love, food, and gratitude with loved ones today. May we all be reminded today, that through the difficulties and pains of this year, the Lord is good, and He is worthy to be praised.
The Apostle Paul reminds us, “In everything give thanks.” And the Psalmsist says: “It is good to give thanks to the Lord.” Psalm 92:1.
May the abundance of blessings, all the good food, the company of good people, and the fullness of the day, remind us of our loving and gracious Heavenly Father who given us all things in Christ Jesus, His Son.
Thankful to God for each of you today, we love you, family.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” Matthew 28:19 #AmazingGrace

Family, there's war going on for your heart and mind. Culture, politics, social media...it never ends. However, we know that our King, Jesus went before us on the cross and secured our victory in his resurrection. Through him we have peace that conquers than anything this world throws at us. Be reminded of that this weekend.
