Sports at SMU

Orientation Leader Adam Bixby back to share about sports here at SMU. Adam is a Peruna Handler, and he wants to get you acquainted with the success of SMU athletics so you get excited to cheer on the Mustangs when you get here in the fall! This year, SMU’s Division 1 athletics programs saw many breakthroughs. Men’s Basketball became American Athletic Conference Champions for the second time in three years, went a perfect 15-0 at home (a new SMU record), and competed in the “Big Dance” this March, unfortunately suffering a loss from the USC Trojans.
