Grace morning on this wonderful and winsome Wednesday.
Many times, we want to take a leap. We are excited about the opportunity of being delivered, from what we feel is a dead end situation. But the real truth embedded in moving from our dead end situation is, we don’t enjoy the pain of being stretched in advance to make that move possible. We fail to realize that if we ever expect to flow and move gracefully along our road to destiny, we have to stretch first.
Sometimes, it hurts. It can be downright hard, but we have to go through it.
You may feel like you’re already ready to move onto the next phase. But your deliverance and breakthrough will come only after you've been stretched.
Stretch your faith. Stretch beyond limited thinking. Stretch beyond fear. Stretch beyond worry. Stretch beyond the walls of those negative voices that continue to spin around in your mind.
“But God shows undeserved kindness to everyone. That's why he appointed Christ Jesus to choose you to share in his eternal glory. You will suffer for a while, but God will make you complete, steady, strong, and firm.”
1 Peter 5:10 CEV
Through your trials, troubles and difficult circumstances, God is up to something. No, He's not on a mission to destroy you, God is stretching you.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this worry-less Wednesday!

Grace morning on this tremendous and thankful Thursday.
A man was walking down a busy street in Thailand, he came upon this tattoo shop. In the window there were many of the tattoos they offered. One said “Born to lose”. He couldn’t believe anyone would have that tattooed on them. The owner came up, they struck up a conversation, he asked the owner if anyone ever got the born to lose tattoos? The owner nodded his head yes and said in broken English: before tattooed on body, tattooed on mind. He’s exactly right: if you accept the name in your mind, you’re giving it the right to come to pass.
In your mind is your name born to lose or born to win? Is your name poor, broke, defeated, or is your name blessed, prosperous, more than enough?
“Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother had named him Jabez, saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.” Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.”
1 Chronicles 4:9-10 NIV
Have you let life name you defeated, struggling, limited or do you go by what God names you: free, whole, victorious, overcomer? Anything or anyone that’s telling you otherwise, you need to change those names.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this incredible and trouble-less Thursday!
Grace morning on this wonderful and winsome Wednesday.
It’s easy to go through life letting people put names on you, things like average, unqualified, poor. Sometimes your own thoughts have named you: not talented, not good enough, failure, deadbeat, unattractive. As long as you’re wearing these names, believe in the lies that people and circumstances have told you, it’s going to keep you from our potential. God wants you to change your name, non your birth certificate, but in your mind. Who do you believe you are? How do you see yourself? When God breathed life into you, he named you blessed, prosperous, talented, one-of-a-kind. He calls you a masterpiece. People will call you average, ordinary, nothing special. If you accept those names you’ll be average, ordinary, nothing special. And what’s holding many people back is they have the wrong name.
“With her last breath, for she was now dying, she named him Ben-oni (Son-of-My-Pain), but his father named him Ben-jamin (Son-of-Good-Fortune).”
Genesis 35:18 MSG
Are you living frustrated, because things keep getting worse? Discouraged, because things are not happening like they used to? What you don't realize, is God is possibly positioning you for increase. Live, love, and laugh your way through this worry-less Wednesday!
Grace morning on this tremendous Thursday.
Something happens in the struggle, when your mind says “It’s never going to work out”, but in your heart you know, “What God promised is on the way”. Sometime the mind tell you that, “You’re wasting your time. There’s no use even believing”, but you just keep on trusting and believing God. Have you ever been at a place in your life, when nothing seems to be working out for you? But in spite of how things are going, you find yourself thanking God anyway — that’s sustaining faith. In life don’t expect everything to be easy, don’t expect every person to be for you. Just because it hasn’t happened yet, doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen. The victory is on the other side of the opposition.
“Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered King Nebuchadnezzar, “Your threat means nothing to us. If you throw us in the fire, the God we serve can rescue us from your roaring furnace and anything else you might cook up, O king. But even if he doesn’t, it wouldn’t make a bit of difference, O king. We still wouldn’t serve your gods or worship the gold statue you set up.”
Daniel 3:16-18 MSG
It takes staying power, and a made up mind to get through your struggles. Get to the place where you move the circumstances instead of being moved by the circumstances.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this thankful Thursday!
Grace morning on this tranquil and thankful Tuesday.
God knows how to protect you. just as God can make blind eyes see, God can make seeing eyes blind. God can shield you from the enemy; quit worrying about your future, quit trying to figure it all out. God has you in the palm of his hand. God has a hedge of protection, provisions, and peace around you that your enemy will discover is impenetrable. What perhaps is meant to bring adversity in your life, God will use it to your advantage. When you don’t see a way, God can make a way, when it looks like it’s over, God is just starting to work in your situation.
There are some problems in life you can’t pray them away, No, you can’t believe them away either. In life you have to outlast the insecurity, outlast the fear, outlast the intimidation.
“But Jacob stayed behind by himself, and a man wrestled with him until daybreak. When the man saw that he couldn’t get the best of Jacob as they wrestled, he deliberately threw Jacob’s hip out of joint. The man said, “Let me go; it’s daybreak.” Jacob said, “I’m not letting you go ’til you bless me.””
Genesis 32:24-26 MSG
Some things you just have to outlast, you have to be more determined than what’s trying to hold you back. Live, love, and laugh your way through this tremendous trouble-less Tuesday!
Grace morning on this meaningful and marvelous Monday.
I wonder if you’re upset over something that’s serving God’s plan: a closed door, a person that walked away, a delay that’s taken longer than you thought – it doesn’t make sense. Stay in peace, it’s all a part of the plan. It may feel like it’s hindering you, really it’s helping you. It looks like it’s setting you back, but really it’s setting you up for something you haven’t seen.
Sometimes what you think is a disappointment is really God positioning you for a new level. It may not make sense right now, the betrayal, the closed doors, the break up, the lost of employment, all can be discouraging. You have to keep reminding yourself, it’s not working against you it’s working for you.
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV
If you will stay in faith, you’re going to see how God begins to connect the dots, how it was all was strategically orchestrated, all part of God’s plan.
God knows what you’re going to need in the future.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this magnificent Monday!
Grace morning on this satisfying Saturday.
You can’t reach your destiny without opposition, without delays, without closed doors. Why are you upset over something that’s designed to move you forward? It may be uncomfortable, you may not like it, but it’s serving you. God wouldn’t have allowed it, if he didn’t have a purpose. Nothing can happen to you without his permission.
The scripture says, our steps are being ordered by the Lord. It doesn’t say they’re being suggested. Don’t be discouraged over the door that closed, it wasn’t a coincidence, it’s positioning you for something bigger. Sometimes it’s going to feel like you’re going backwards, you have to trust God, when you don’t understand. You have to know, everything is serving his plan.
Now the test is: while God is working it out, while it’s not good, will you stay in faith?
“This is GOD ’s Word on the subject: “As soon as Babylon’s seventy years are up and not a day before, I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.”
Jeremiah 29:10-11 MSG
When you don’t see any improvement, when it’s uncomfortable, unfair, will you believe that God is still on the throne, that he’s working behind the scenes, that what he started in your life he will finish? Live, love, and laugh your way through this sensational Saturday!
