Mission: The mission of Temple Shalom is to inspire in our congregation an enduring relationship with God, Torah, Israel and the Jewish people through worship, study, gathering and community service. Just a few more photos from last Night's Hanukkah Dinner and Service. It was so wonderful to see the community come together in celebration. The light of the candles, learning, laughter and latkas with family and friends were the greatest gift. Thank you to everyone who helped make this night possible. Cantor Avery, the Adult Choir and representatives from the Junior Choir were a special treat and the perfect ending to a wonderful evening. Rabbi Paley- you inspired us to shine our light and make a difference during Hanukkah and in 2020. "If we each bring light into the world, what a difference we can make." Happy Hanukkah!!
Thank you to Ilene Feibel Zidow for these great photos!

All year long, but especially during this season, we are grateful for our Temple Shalom family, friends and our community! Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving!
Another fantastic day filled with friendship, fun and learning. While younger students learned about the story of Noah's Ark and enjoyed singing with Mr. Raymond Farris, older students enjoyed a variety of electives including cooking (delicious bagels), survival skills (sewing) and more. They also learned about kindness, made survival bags for the homeless, painted t-shirts and canvases- and studied Torah.
Congratulations Shelli Taub!! Thank you for all your hard work!!
Shelli Taub (Temple Shalom) and Nora Silverfield (JFS) are being honored by the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation as Unsung Heroes!

Temple Shalom is a Reform Jewish congregation founded in 1965, we moved to our present location in 1972. The temple is a spacious and beautiful 55,000 square foot facility located on a wooded 14-acre lot.
We are also excited to announce that we offer programming in Collin County. While the Alpha Road facility remains our main campus, two additional Plano locations will allow us to provide more conveniently located programming for those who live in Plano, Frisco and surrounding cities.
In addition to Tuesday afternoon religious school, we will host a variety of monthly activities including Munchkin Minyan Services, and certain Holiday Observances and celebrations.
Please contact us if you would like more information about Temple Shalom.
