Good morning getting ready for the LIFE!
This is a hard truth that every church should ask and determine. It's one of the things I believe God intended during the Pandemic. Join us for a 5 week series as we biblically explore, pray and are led by God. Week #1 The question is: WHAT IS THE CHURCH AND SHOULD I BE PASTORING? Face Book Live: Sunday, March 24, 2020

Mission: The mission of The Life Church is to REACH and to LOVE people to LIFE in Christ. We stand on 7 Ministry Impact Principles which are foundational to who we strive to be and all we do. 1. Evangelism 2. Love 3. Ministry Integrity 4. Real and Relevant Teaching 5. Outreach 6. Transformation 7. Excellence What We BELIEVE Established in antiquity but true, the Nicene Creed of 381 AD is the foundation of what we BELIEVE. Its core tenets are as follows: • We BELIEVE in God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit existing in substance and essence as One God in three Divine Persons. o God, The Father: He is the Almighty and the Creator of all that is, seen and unseen. o Jesus Christ, The only Son of God: begotten of the Father, of one being with the Father. Through Him we have salvation. o God, The Holy Spirit: proceeding from The Father and The Son, He is the giver of life. Through Him we are led to all truth. Every believer should know what they BELIEVE and why they BELIEVE it. Our belief statement is necessary because it lays out the foundation for our Christian belief. We acknowledge that some truths are not always easy to understand. When it comes to the Bible, often times it is made more difficult than it has to be. But know this, what we BELIEVE is relevant to our everyday life and the Life Church is committed to making it real in our everyday life. Join us for worship services as God’s Word comes alive.

Communion Sunday!

A couple of weeks ago, Pastor taught the first lesson in what he intended to be a 5-week series. But, then a series of tragic incidents shifted the social climate in our country. In line with our church’s commitment to being real and relevant, our church must shift as well.

In the coming weeks, The Life Church will seek a Biblical and scholarly understanding of what is happening so that our responses and actions would be pleasing to God.

James 2:26 tells us that “faith without works is dead,” so as believers in Christ we must DO something!

🗣The Life Church-DFW is pleased to announce the 2020 recipient of the Thomas Jefferson Honorary Scholarship, Mariah McCardell.

Mariah graduated from Hebron High School in the top 12% of her graduating class with a 4.6 GPA. She is a College Board AP Scholar with Distinction, a member of the National Honor Society and was active in Black Student Union and Hebron Hawk Theatre. Mariah proudly served as the 1st African-American Captain of her drill team, the Hebron Silver Wings and was selected as Most Talented Senior by her peers.

Mariah will attend UT-Austin this fall, following in the footsteps of her big sister, aunt and cousins.

Her favorite verse is Proverbs 31:25, “Strength and dignity are her clothing and she smiles at the future.”

Please join us in congratulating Mariah on her accomplishments and praying that God would be at the center of all her future endeavors!

Please Don’t Eat From That Tree!

We are in the midst of challenging and emotional times in our country. A time when our faith in God will be tested and unique opportunities to exercise that faith will arise.

One of the ways The Life Church-DFW has chosen to put faith into action during this time is by supporting those who have chosen to peacefully protest. Our church has contributed to a fund established to provide assistance to individuals who have been detained for peaceably protesting. Stipulations state that there be no involvement in destructive activity (violence or looting) at the time of detainment.

The Life Church-DFW will continue to put faith into action by seeking innovative and impactful ways to support racial justice and healing in our community and country.

Our Women in the Word series concludes this evening with lessons from Eve, the mother of mankind.

Tune in on FB Live tonight at 7pm.
