September 14th, 2019!

He is risen indeed. Thank you, Lord, for this day. We honor as resurrection Sunday and because he lives, we can all face tomorrow. Christ's mode of operating is love. Share your love as he did for us!

- Greta B. Canfield

Do not be afraid to call upon him, even at your highest time you should call on him. For every prayer big or small is heard.

- Greta B. Canfield

I don't know if anyone has read the rest of this chapter from John 19:30 to 42. But I highly encourage it, very beautiful. What he says happens, and new life came in its stead.

- Greta B. Canfield

As we prepare for yet another Easter take the time to remember what he has done for you and thank him in prayer or simply shout it out loud. We break bread in remembrance. Thanks be to God!

- Greta B. Canfield

In this vivid, bright, bold, and colorful world, remember to love one another.

- Greta B. Canfield

Everyone wish Pat Evans a happy birthday!

He will be your bridge over troubled waters sustaining you step by step. There are just something's we have to go through in life that isn't pleasant by any means. just be sure you have the right anchor to keep you steady.

Keep your faith, because faith keeps you strong. Faith keeps you when the days are dark. Cherish your faith because it keeps you on call with God.
- Greta Canfield

May this be your reminder of God's strength to power you through the week.

The Board Members of Imperfect Yet would like to wish our leading lady a happy birthday! We hope you celebrate all weekend long! Enjoy your day!

Thoughts From The Founder: Are you open to God? Have you checked to make sure your light is shining this morning?

Thoughts From The Founder: Are you serving or being served?

Starting today, Imperfect Yet social media accounts are going to start a new segment called, "Thoughts From The Founder." Gathering with the social media team, we discussed that it would be a shame to keep the morning scriptures we are sent every day from our founder, Greta Canfield, to ourselves. These powerful words continue to keep us going to seize the day, hoping they will do the same with you!

Good Afternoon! Comfort someone today as you know The Lord has comforted you.

The Service of Motherhood
Philippians 2:1-11

Children are a blessing from the Lord (Ps. 127:3-5). Motherhood is a great honor and privilege, yet it is also synonymous with servanthood. Every day women are called upon to selflessly meet the needs of their families. Whether they are awake at night nursing a baby, spending their time and money on less-than-grateful teenagers, or preparing meals, moms continuously put others before themselves.
Sometimes this constant serving can be exhausting and even discouraging—particularly for a first-time mother. But you can take real encouragement from Jesus. One of the best examples of gracious servanthood is found in John 13:3-16. By kneeling to wash His disciples’ feet, the Lord showed that the key to true leadership is humility. And it is humility that leads to eternal reward.
Unless you are willing to stoop down and get your hands dirty, you will miss the real riches of motherhood. By dying to your own desires and pouring your life into someone else, you become like Christ and create a godly legacy that will carry on for generations to come. What greater blessing could one hope for? Of course, the motivation for serving others is not to reap benefits, but when we follow God’s plan for our life, that’s what happens.
In giving us children, God places us in a position of both leadership and service. He calls us to give up our lives for someone else’s sake—to abandon our own desires and put our child’s interests first. Yet, according to His perfect design, it is through this selflessness that we can become truly fulfilled.

[09/01/15]   Being empowered to develop decision-making processes is just one of the many benefits that a faith-based leadership course can offer modern women. Mitigate risk, promote collaboration, avoid common decision traps, and be able to work with group dynamics - these are all helpful tools.

[08/27/15]   Although the men in our lives try to lift us up and be supportive, they don’t always understand what it’s like to be a Christian woman. Attending conferences and other activities with fellow women of faith can help you get the insight and support you really need.

[08/25/15]   Christian community outreach programs for women teach members that there is life after sorrow, tragedy, or great suffering. With the support of like-minded women, you will be able to find peace in your circumstances and experience the support and love of God.

[08/20/15]   The unemployment rate in America has been steadily falling throughout 2014. More and more women of all ages are finding employment, so if you need some guidance in this area, see what is available at your local Christian community center.

[08/18/15]   If you feel you will benefit from some guidance in how to best deal with confrontational people either in your work or home life, then why not see what your local Christian community has on offer for supporting women?

[08/13/15]   Christian community outreach programs provide an opportunity for women from difficult or challenging environments to start their lives over again through Christ. These programs provide spiritual guidance as well as real world emotional, physical, and mental help.

[08/11/15]   Do you have an important interview coming up? Would you like some practice with a faith-based group that can help you navigate your way with dignity and integrity? Check out your local Christian community programs to see what they have to offer.

[08/06/15]   While attending a church service with your family is an excellent bonding experience, you may find that not all of the weekly messages speak directly to your soul. If you’ve been looking for something geared toward the needs of women of faith, we’re always here for you.

[08/04/15]   A Christian women’s program brings together women of all different roles in their family, from single woman to working mother to single mother to grandmother. This diversity helps make you stronger, while also increasing your faith and ability to live as a member of your family.

[07/30/15]   A fulfilling life comes from having a fulfilling relationship with God in mind, body, and spirit. Participation in a Christian community program can help you to nurture and strengthen this relationship, so you can find the support you need from God to get through life’s many challenges.
